hey - what's going on with this dead blog?

I know. I only post plugs on here now. Remember when I used to write in here? Used to seem to care and be passionate about examining my world?

Well, guess what. As things have been going better and better for me, and as I've gotten more and more crazy busy, I've felt the urge to write and retrospect less and less. I have a feeling that I will come back to this blog at some point in my life. Just not for the next little while.

People who miss me, fear not! I am returning to the blogging world for a few weeks this summer. Kaitlin and I have started a Buckshot N Benny tour blog. Which you can access by clicking on that link. I'm going to try to write in it a lot. I promise. It'll be the place to hear about how my tour is going and all that!

Teen Comics - Now Taking Submissions for THE KIDS ARE ALRIGHT!

Hey everyone,

Great news. I'm producing a new show at The Magnet Theater called THE KIDS ARE ALRIGHT. It is going to an hour long comedy variety show with improv groups, stand up comedy, sketches, music and video pieces. Here's the catch: all the performers in the show are going to be teenagers! Finally! A night in New York for young comedy acts to work on their skills. I'm very excited about it.

That is where you all come in. I need acts! If you're interested in:

-writing a sketch with your friends and performing it in the show
-writing a comedic monologue for yourself and performing it in the show
-acting in someone else's sketch in the show
-putting together an improv group and putting it in the show
-having your awesome band play in the show
-doing a stand-up set in the show

... or ANYTHING ELSE - please don't hesitate to e-mail or facebook me or comment me with your ideas. The show is going to be Sunday, March 23rd, 6:30PM at The Magnet Theater. I'd like to have everything booked in the next two weeks, so please let me know.

I am looking forward to everyone taking this show to great heights.

louie & his ukulele play marisel's big day

Here's a video from a uke show I had at Variety Underground today.  I think it went really well, the audience really seemed to dig it.  This is an original song that I wrote.  I've never written an original song and performed it in public!  I think it's something that I should keep doing.  It was really enjoyable.

There's a bunch more new ukulele vids at my youtube page.
