| Very cheaply - all five seasons in Oxfam for £3.99 each! The whole thing for £20!
Yay! | |

| It's amazing, isn't it? In Jurassic Park we use technology to reactivate ancient DNA to push the boundaries of science by recreating the dinosaurs. In real life, we use the exact same technique... to make beer with an odd spicy flavour. http://www.abc.net.au/science/articles/2008/09/24/2373149.htm?site=scienceRight, I know which I prefer, and at least those two annoying kids wouldn't be allowed in the pub! (And I don't believe I just emailed it to Al Murray. I'm sure the Pub Landlord would have some choice words to say!) | |

| previusly Untitled Comic Series is now, of course, called William Shatner Presents: Quest For Tomorrow - Generation Omega The page breakdowns for #1-3 have all been approved by Shatner and his people, so now I'm doing the breakdown for #4 and writing the script for #1 - which is mostly dialogue, since most of the action went in the breakdowns anyway.
Untitled movie Well, no change, as I was concentrating on finishing Light Of Heaven, the sequel, and Quest For Tomorrow...
The Light Of Heaven Finished and delivered! Yay!
In Pale's Moonlight will actually be the title of the third Gabriella DeZantez book, so the second, which is now going forward, will be called something else. I dunno what yet...
Jason And The Argonauts Paused to squeeze in Quest For Tomorrow, and also give time for the artist to deliver and for Kingdom Of Hades' trade collection to come out.
Attack Force Zed replaced by a go-ahead for the Gabriella sequels. I think I may turn it into a comics thing...
AK-47 back-burnered due to concerns that it's too similar to a previously-existing TV seres (which I'd never heard of!) Not rejected outright, but will need more development and changes.
All else is as per the usual...

( sliced and diced for hugeness )

| There's a cheesy old kung fu movie that includes the subtitled dialogue "There are two gorillas heading this way, and it looks like they know kung fu!" Well, close enough... And Steven Colbert better start running - the bears are learning to be Eight Diagram Pole Fighters! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=txxqSD-7Ca4 | |

| OK, saw this week's Merlin.
Hm... I won't make a point of watching, or buy the inevitable DVDs, but it was harmless enough fun while it was on, so I won't mind if I catch it again either.
I mean, it's nowhere on the level of the stuff I love (DW, Trek, Buffy, Angel, X Files, Firefly, Avengers, B5, B7, BSG, Stargate etc) - but compared to Rotten Hood it was... fuckin' Shaft!
And now I'm watching the double-length season 4 premiere of Bones. Heh, and they've come to England to team up with UK cops - and Agent Booth's opposite number is Indira Varma, Suzie from Torchwood.
Damn, between Spike showing up in Torchwood season 2 and this, I'm having all sorts of crossover wishful thinking...

| via wyldemusickThey say a picture is worth a thousand words. Post a picture in my comments of what you think describes me when you think about what/who I am. Give no written explanation though. Just an image. Macros are ok :) Copy and paste into your own journal and see what others think about you in pictures! | |
