After almost a week of not blogging, I am finally back from the surgery.
I'm glad to finally be feeling better. Granted, I'm still not completely back to normal but I'm out and about nonetheless. The weekend was interesting.. Friday after the surgery i was still really under the anesthesia and lots of medication, plus the stress i went through just before the surgery that I slept the entire day. Saturday was spent studying for my Microbiology exam entirely. Not surprisingly, Sunday was spent sleeping the whole day.
Despite the fact that I was still taking medicine, I decided to go into lab on Monday morning. My lunch break between labs was spent in a study session for my Microbiology class, and was followed by yet another lab. After all that was done, I sat in the study session for a couple more hours and took off around 5:30 when Ruben picked me up from campus. We went to GameStop to ensure our reserved copies of Halo 2 and then he dropped me off so I could take a nap. Ruben picked Will and I up to go back to GameStop at 11:30pm to wait in the already-long line for our copy of Halo 2. We stayed in line for about a half hour before it started to move, and finally got our copies just before 1am. Afterward, we met up with Luis at Rub's house to play the beloved game and sit in awe at its glory until 3am (we didn't stay out as late as Andy, who claimed to be out past 6am playing the game).
I slept so well that night that in the morning, I wasn't up to going to class. I ended up missing Environmental and Cell Bio because my stomach hurt, my head hurt, and I swore I was on the verge of a fever (okay, okay, I'm just whining, but I honestly didn't feel good and sleeping some more really helped). I managed to get up around 1:30pm to study a bit for my exam. Of course we all know that didn't last long with a copy of HALO 2 in the apartment!!! I played campaign for an hour or so before realizing I had to get ready to leave..
I got to class like two minutes late and the prof sounded upset to see me get there late. Every time someone (including myself) gets to class late I wonder if the professor automatically assumes that we were just fooling around in the hall with the intention of missing the beginning of class or that he takes into consideration the millions of possibilities for our tardiness... Anyway, I took my exam, which seemed to go pretty well, and met up with Yvonne after class. We went with my mom and grandmother to buy Sarah's wedding gift (her wedding is this weekend) and then ate dinner at Whataburger.. 2 for 2 for life!! After that I went home, picked up Rub from Christian's, took him home, and conked out.
Today wasn't very eventful.. I slept as much as possible this morning before having to wake up for my follow-up exam for the surgery at 11am. Everything seemed to be going good. After that, my mom insisted that she treat me to lunch (which I thought was really nice) so I chose Taco Palenque, Jr. because it's such a great Mexican food restaurant. From there, we met up with my dad who was on his lunch break and hung out until we all had to go. I was getting this really intense headache (when am I not getting a headache) so I went home to lie down for a bit. It wasn't long before I had to get up and go to campus in order to finish a paper for microbiology and turn it in.. So i drove to campus, finished my paper, and turned it in. So that's everything up until now...
Sorry this entry was so "livejournal-esque" but it just feels like ages since I've blogged at all.. I just wanted to keep track of all this stuff. Anyway, I hope all of you who own Halo 2 are enjoying the greatness of it, and those of you who don't own it yet.. I suggest you go buy a copy or get your hands on one!! :-DFeelin' kinda:  Halo-y |

lol you've seen my livejournal entries, its either write many little ones, or just one weekly big one, eh, oh well, ive been broke so i'll be getting my copy of halo 2 tomorrow ! woot, take care lisa

I'm still in disbelief. I can't belive I'm playing (and beat) Halo 2 already. The wait seemed to go on for ages. But I'm just enjoying it so much. I've been owning some n00b135 on Live also. If any of you wanna step up, then do so. My Gamertag is 'Green Plastic' Wait a minute. Why am I not playing right now?!?!?!? *swooooooooooooooosh*

Yeah, I can't believe you spent all those few days beating it on Legendary... not that there isn't anything left for you to experience (Multiplayer is awesome enough to want to buy it alone, and you're lucky enough to have xbox live) but there's no more campaign for you..
At least since I'm beating it on normal, i can go up a level to hard and then try my luck at legendary :-) I'm not gutsy enough to start on legendary like you folk!
