The five times Lee Adama tells her that he loves her

The first time Lee Adama tells her that he loves her is when she obviously lets him win at cards because he's drunk and his hand in on her knee and she's feeling reckless. He says it rather slyly but loud enough to hear and she counts three seconds before the rest of her fellow pilots and gamblers take notice. She wins the next three rounds.

The second time Lee Adama tells her that he loves her is when he's trying to get her to talk and it slips out of his mouth as he's telling her that he's her friend and that she can tell him anything. She seems to remember that the CAG is not supposed to be her friend, but he's not really the CAG anymore. And what was that middle part that slipped out about this love thing?

The third time Lee Adama tells her he loves her is when she slams her fist into that pretty face of his (again) and demands a reason. It's not good enough, she thinks, and she can't look him in the eye.

The fourth time Lee Adama tells her that he loves her is when she's coming beneath him, unable to keep from sighing out his name as she reads the three words repeating and repeating on his lips. It's more than sweet, she thinks. Lee Adama loves me and she refuses to shut everything down to focus on the physicality of skin against skin and the wildly spreading pleasure shuddering through her -- she just focuses on his face, his eyes, and those quickly moving lips as he expertly has her perfectly captured if only for these brief moments.

The fifth time Lee Adama tells her that he loves her is when she finds him on the hospital bed pieced back together from the many parts. He weakly smiles and he says it just out of the blue and with no prompting. He's died too many times for her to not take this chance again and she repeats it back like a prayer. He grins and looks so much younger all of a sudden and closes his eyes, instantly asleep. She realizes that she does not regret telling him.
