cos it's extremely late at night, In responce to last post...
GOOD DAY WORLD!
Anyway, update on life. Went to the pizza night on tuesday and go re-introduced with Nici. We got along great (mostly by poking and making fun of sarah, lol) and have since (with Sarah's ok) set ourselves in terms of more than friends. I have an official term attached for her and I, but otherwise I'm essentually Single still and am looking for someone for a relationship. Only with a cuddly girl to have over on occasion when the need hits her. Cuddles are awesome!
Anyway, otherwise,Today we had a family BBQ. One with my mom, two brothers and their girlfriends. Was an interesting time to be had, since my bro is only in Australia for a one or two weeks more before he goes back to Bath. Later on I went to the coventant gig and had plenty of fun. Sorry to people I was rambling on to, I was almost completely out of it most of the time. |

sarcasm is most delicious when mocking racists.
Had a pretty good week, my mood has taken something of an about face. I'd post more into, but I promised a friend I wouldn't go into details :P
Work sucks still though, I'm sending my resume to off to more places in the hope of avoiding an implosion |

We are not slaves to fate. Fate is our slave. one fucking word people... INCOMING!This was the first success of the Spaceguard program. We saw 2008 TC3 coming. For the first time EVER we saw it coming before it hit us. It was small and exploded before it hit the ground (with a yield roughly that of a 1-2Kt nuke) Remember this in 50 years when we stick a gigaton nuke to a rocket and send it on a deflection mission to save millions of lives. We're going to have to do it one day and this was a very important first step. As always, the future is looking better all the time. |

Cos I couldn't stop laughing at this all night. Went out tonight, had a good time. Including one case of hilarious mistaken identity.
I have this wierd feeling that my life tends to repeat itself. At least the summeries do.
Explination, when a girl who was heavily made up came up to me, started dancing and said "I know you, we kissed", I looked at her and thought "oh wait, it's that girl who I made out with a while back, then right after she said she was a lesbian". So, being off my head I essentually summed up this position to her in pretty much those words(this had happened about 3 weeks ago, there is a post about it at the time). She seemed friendly and wanted to dance with me. I had set that girl as a game player from back then. Now I don't like game players (see end of post for my new awesome quote relating to them). So I basically was friendly ,but basically gave her a subtle vauge blanking(if a girl wants me, she can kiss me. This other bullshit can go to hell. I don't like people not being 100% honest with me up front) Cut to the end of the night, she's coming down the stairs and I wave bye, she asks if I'm going. I say yes, but that I've forgotten her name (which I had). She tells me it. It takes me a moment to process and I realise something.
About a year ago I made out with and danced for 3 hours with a girl. I knew from the get go about details and it was all more a performance piece than something sexual(damn I am a sexy dancer if I have the right partnet). This girl is in fact a complete sweetie, and not a game player.
Ok, my life is officially strange when I say to a woman "You're the girl I made out with, but then you said were gay" And it perfectly summs up to COMPLETELY seperate woman in a completely seperate incident 12 months later. The funny thing is that she had no idea why I was blanking her the entire night till we worked it out at the end.
Anyway, new quote on women who play games. "I don't like women who play games. Of course I love the ones who play them with Mice, Dice or keyboards. It's the ones who play using their breasts as set pieces that will cause you problems." |

Teh gay is good, google says so Despite some of their more dodgy practices. I love google.Note, this is on the official google blog. Don't know many other companies that make it a point to say..."we should not eliminate anyone's fundamental rights, whatever their sexuality, to marry the person they love." |

I'm seeing Duck Duck Goose on wednesday, who wants to come with? I've already got one person coming, so the more the merrier! I've been told it's hilarious by Ariana, who's already seen it. So you have to take that as proof that it's awesome.
I saw "journey to the centre of the earth" today with Jerrica. It made me hurt in my Science... And in my stomach, she steals all my food! Bloody midgets aren't even good for later use in cannibalism. |

GO BABY GO! Elon Musk has done it. Him and and his team have launched the first ever civilian devloped rocket to orbit. The falcon 1 made it on it's 4th test flight.
Best moments?
1:22: "Got max Q" 2:40-2:55: I can't even begin to describe how awesome this moment looks. 3:23: "Fairing seperation confirmed"
Sometimes science and engineering is just plain old awesome, people!
For those who don't know, Musk is also the guy who's building the Tesla. Plus, he's chairman of Solar city, a company that build solar arrays. This is what happens when engineers and nerds become near billionares. They don't spend their time with derivates trading, they build shit to move and make the world a better place. His next rocket is going to be what launches the bigelow space-hotels.
Damn I wish I was as awesome as these people. |

Friday night had my birthday ( Partay! )Saturday night Went with a bunch of people to a play.Funnily enough, the play was called birthday party. Interesting, but very wierd. Went to Lisa's 21st, which was pretty cool as well. Naturally, I end up seated next to a unisfa committee member by random chance. (Randomly singing lines from Dr Horrible with people is the best way to make friends). Went to Sin and chilled out with plenty of folk. Today, went to pride fairday, had an interesting time. Chilled plenty. Right now I'm watching "PS. I love you". yes, I'm a complete dork |

Note to self, when you have a complete story in your head, begin writing immediately, do not go buy dinner first |

Summery of the weekend coming.
I was at the pride fair today and was told about a writing collection for queer writers about queer issues.
Within 10 minutes I had a short story planned out dealing with Gender Identity and now I'm writing it it feels awesome.
If I get it in, I'm devoting it to my man Fagboy. You know who you are dude. |
