[sewing] Christmas plushies
I made my very first plushies over Christmas, and learnt a few things like omg someone has made a Londo Mollari penguin squee.





The kitties are supposed to resemble the Gaia Online plushies. I made the pattern for MeiMei, the prototype kitty based on the pattern for a hippo plushie. She's blind but only slightly demented.





Kitty v.2 had significant changes to the limb placement.



Captain Tux was made directly from a pattern developed at free-penguin.org.



I broke a needle making Tux. o.o

O_O...omg Anli *worships your sewing skillz*..Their adorable..the last time I tried to make a plushie was the one I gave Giorgia on her B'day..I hand made Kon (from bleach)...

Thanks! Um frankly I have no idea. I think plushie refers to a soft character toy, like 'plush Cthulu' rather than a normal toy without a commercial name. But I just use the term indiscriminately now ^^;

Oh I'm so glad! I thought I'd get to see you yesterday, but thank you so much for the chocs & earrings, they'e so pretty!

I tried to wear kitty on my head but she kept slipping :-/ Pudding is a great name!

Okay, so I am a huuge fan of penguins, and I consider myself a pirate (I'm a pirate at ren. faire, so I'm a pirate!). I was actually looking into making a stuffed penguin for myself and I love yours! It is the cutest thing ever put into creation!

aww thank you! Captain Tux is with a friend across the country, but he was sooo cuddly. I love the free-penguin site, they're awesome!
