After a long absence from posting on LJ I am back.

Well with BSG on hiatus I am currently involved with finishing off classes for this quarter and that much closer to graduation. (Grabs future-scope and gazes far into the future!)

Ah yes, Alaska - Land of the Midnight Sun - where I live, as the picture shows, northern Alaska won't see a true sunset for a couple of months. Now living in Anchorage, the sun briefly drops out of sight.

Brother In-Law is heading to Ghana in Africa... my question... Why?!
I'm sure his answer is why not.... James is currently in France, but will be on his way soon to sunny Africa... Yay... I think.

Wow I have not updated this in a long time. Well there are new vids on my website www.vipermkii.com and I am working on a new story. Will be updating more often now.

In the immortal words of Starbuck - 'Frak me!'

I am tempted to go skeet shooting with my laptop as my clay pigeon. Though I don't own a shotgun and its my DVD player that has gone out. Hmmmm.... well its been keeping me from working on some story ideas and that irritates me. Of course I could ignore the problem, but then that wouldn't really do anything except delay the envitable and it could get worse *winces* before it gets better... oh my kingdom for a new DVD player for my laptop... internal please...

Well work has been quiet, the kind of eerie quiet that happens before a huge tornado comes by and sucks up your house and all it leaves for you is a box of toothpicks you lost years ago...

Okay maybe not that bad. I have had one of those computer repair moments. Kind of like when you take your car to a mechanic for a flat tire and you end up leaving with a new engine and transmission.

Yep my computer is having one of those. Its a good laptop whose warranty just ended after 3 years. The hard drive was sounding horrible so I get a new one, now the DVD/CD Rom isn't working (its slowly been going down hill - I think it just hit bottom) so I have to find an adapter that goes between both drives to allow a 2.5" to be formatted via a 3.5" hard drive connector... cha-ching! The hits keep coming.

I keep trudging and its not that bad, my laptop is still chugging along giving me time to recreate the wheel. I figure at this rate I will have enough spare parts to almost build another laptop... the possibilities.

“Take the damn shot!” Captain Adama growled as the Cylon Raider flipped plunging towards the fleet. Starbuck’s Viper spun behind the enemy. Red flames flickered from its gun ports. The rounds found their mark shattering the Raider.

On the flight deck as an angry Lieutenant Thrace opened her mouth to tear into Lee she noticed his shocked face and looked down.

“Frak!” Starbuck awoke startled, but soon forced herself back to sleep. Back on the flight deck, she looked down – she was dressed. Looking up, she saw Apollo patiently waiting for her… naked.

“Much better,” Kara purred walking towards Lee.

» Writing bug
I have had a writing bug, written a 100 word BSG challenge piece for the Dradis 99 + 1 Contest - Word: Shot

I have also finished preliminarily on a BSG Fanfic 'A Reason to Live' L/K story. I will post it soon.

Already working on a challenge from the Apollo Starbuck Fanfic group, it involves a letter misdirected.

Oh well its late - or early depending on how you look at it... see ya 'In a while crocodile.'

» What a friday Sci-Fi channel has given us!
Sci-fi Fridays from the Scifi Channel have been awesome. With Stargate SG-1, Stargate: Atlantis, and Battlestar Galactica - I have been in TV heaven, I rarely watch TV shows and the three above top out the top five - Good Eats and I am sure something else fill out the 5. I enjoy the history channel as well. I know... excitement in a bottle! Well anyhow, my first entry is here and my wife is probably happy I finally got on Live Journal.
