my copy of Origins came today, tonight I'm gonna smoke up and play it. I'll let you all know how that goes ;)

Origins came out for ps2 yesterday. It's a port, I'm not expecting much but ... if you guys wanna play it, you should. You can only get it online afaik but that could be erroneous information. I ordered mine and I'll have it Friday I hope.

As far as life .. I'm doing well. I'm happy to not be working for AMPF anymore. Plus I get a big severance, so i can enjoy myself for a little while before jumping back into the rat race.

I spend most of my time in the land of physics and Garrys Mod lately. I have a bunch of shit to add to the gallery - before my pictures expire. I probably won't pay for LJ again until I use it more regularly. I need to save money right now.

So yeah.

I am being cut from my job as of 12/31. I get severance, but I still need to find work.

This is good, it forces me to get the hell out of this place. I stay in bad situations too long apparently.

I look at it with both positive and negative aspects, but there is more positive. I can find something else, I'll get away from the frustration of dealing with callers, and I may get paid more - as opposed to "OMG what if I have to go on unemployment for a month" thing.

I think I'll find something sooner than that though. I will work til the end of the year and get my severance. If something better comes along, I can probably give up the severance and move on sooner.

So .. yeah, it sucks, it restarts the whole "searching for a job" thing but I have friends in other companies that are looking for team members. It won't be all that bad.

please tell me where you are at. I've been playing last 2 days now and I don't even think I'm halfway through. I'm at the hotel. Yes, there is a hotel, but it's the worst one I've ever seen in a SH game. Think Jack's inn with SH4 + movie style otherside.

The levels get worse and worse the further you go. I mean, the weird shit ... I never really knew how to describe SH's "nightmare" side.

I really hope they port this to ps2: it's just not the same. Something is missing, it's really easy to get lost in playing it, but I think it's the size of the psp. It doesn't do Silent Hill any justice, there is STUFF that people want to LOOK AT. That is difficult to do with the tiny screen. I had such a horrible headache the first night from strain.

AND i had to start over again because I got to the first real "boss" and I didn't have any health or bullets. Stupid ass me always fights everything - bad idea in this game- I started over yesterday morning.

I also discovered that there is something much worse than Pyramid Head.

Is the game scary? On the PSP? Yeah. It's really scary - especially with headphones. See? I'm not even done with it yet, I'm sucked into it, but I'm pretty creeped out and that is why I'm on here writing about it instead of playing.

... I have silent hill Origins.


I'm gonna go curl up in a ball and play it.

I had to take a break from this place for a while. I guess you could say I had to grow up a bit and disregard an online journal. I mean, I don't use this place to socialize anymore.

I will still try to update periodically - people who want to talk to me usually know where to find me anyway.

Don't feel sad though - I'm learning a lot of things about myself as well.

Oh, and I didn't get to see any snow. I don't think that 3 "flurries" is what I had in mind when I said it would snow within the first 5 days of November.

I don't really want to go back tomorrow, i've had a very, very rough week
it's getting to the burnout point.

I feel like crying at my job all the time near the end of the day.
Not enough people to cover the phones, and just .. it feels like it does not end, but yet when I look at the stats the next day - i only take about 40 calls.

My interview went well, I will know wednesday if I got the job.

while persuing the pictures I found ones that will probably redeem the series for me .. not that I really HATE #4, but it is different, and I will always stay true to the original story. Besides, that is the creepiest one of all - except maybe #2, and that story is creepy because of all the self-analysis involved in playing it.
