I am trying to update For Richer or Poorer. It's a bit ridiculous though because scanning is taking FOREVER. I think I'm going to go a bit crazy trying to finish it all. I do have at least seven issues of LaLa I haven't scanned and posted yet. This backlog won't be completed until the weekend though. Reason? School is absolutely crazy this week.

I have a Science midterm on Thursday, reading responses due Tuesday/Wednesday, and then just tons and tons of reading for Tuesday/Thursday. And let's not forget that Science assignment for tomorrow.

I sacrificed my senior year in order to do my junior year abroad in Japan. Still doesn't mean I can't complain once in awhile though. XD;;

I see all the time I had set aside for updating FRoP/my fanfiction shriveling up. ToT So sad.

P.S. I am so sleep deprived. On the other hand, I just saw an old classmate from high school when I got to campus. He's sweet. :) Oh, nostalgia.

After watching The Dark Knight at the Metreon with my cousin and his fiancée, I was able to top off my evening (or is it early morning?) with the two-hour season finale of Avatar: the Last Airbender. All in all, my weekend has turned out pretty good. TDK lives up to the hype (watch it! it's been a long time since I left the movie theater as satisfied as I was when it was over) as did Avatar. Under the cut are my thoughts on the Avatar finale. Please forgive me if there are repetitions in my post-finale thoughts.

As some of you may have noticed, I've been AWOL. Well, combined with my aunt's death, my new internship, and moving temporarily to San Francisco for said internship, I really haven't had time to post. However, in an effort to cheer up and also spread more love for all that is Mamoru Miyano, I decided to translate one of his blog entries. I couldn't resist, simply because he's too darned cute for his own good. XD;;

My time in Japan is over. (My flight leaves today at 2:05PM.) I didn't really blog about it because I'm just not the type to blog every day, but I can tell you this was an experience I'll never forget any time soon. If I compare myself to when I first came here... some things are the same (my shyness needs to wither up and die), while others are drastically different. And I was able to make so many good friends that I hope I can keep in touch with. *sighs wistfully*

Nanzan, ryuugakusei no minna-san, it's been fun. *hugs* Sayonara.

PROCRASTINATION!!!!!!!

I don't want to write this paper. This paper that is due in 12 hours and 30 minutes. This paper that is standing in the way of my studying for my oral exam in 10 hours and 50 minutes.

And now I'm also worrying about writing my resume and cover letter because hey - Viz finally put up their summer internship positions. Somebody kill me now.

I'm strangely calm, but my inevitable freak-out (even moreso than this) is going to hit me like a freight train. Joy.
