Last couple of days of work have been ok. Dunno why, just one of those random euphoric moods. Must be cos being 30 isnt so bad and Im losing weight, sorting out finances n stuffs. Plus yesterday dispite training I was able to do CODs for a change and today I did ISP and BODS instead of training on BODS for like a month. training is easy.. but you dont get into it as much, its slower as you have to explain what you are doing and its less entertaining somehow. Today thou lots of nice loud music, little distraction and it was a sunny day So BOOM! crap loads of work.
Huzzah!
i think manflu will come along and make all ill and mopey shortly! just intime of r my day of natch.
Anyhoo gym I need to come up with a new operation yashima name. The one thats going to get me to 70kg. It seems in my contuniued effort to get even fitter i have managed to max out on the difficultly setting I currently do must of my Xtrainer work on. I was barely breaking a sweat the other day and I did it for 30 ish minutes. (500 calories approx). Mark at th egym pointed out my general lack of sweat and said my body had oviously adapted to the workload and no longer found it hard so I needed to take it up a notch with my spice weasel (BAM!) So now i shall try and train on difficulty level 18 instead of 15. I did that for 15 minutes and YEAH! There is the feeling I remember! unable to hold a conversatiom at the same time, it hurts and my heart rate ends up in to 180 bpm range and the sweat! Sweat everywhere! Will be doing that next week and seeing how it treats me the week after. I did drop just under 75kg this week but it was once and more likely cos i didnt have any food kicking around in me.
oh yeah Mark was also a bit ill on thursday and wanted to know if I minded Gym sitting for him for 5 hours so he could go home and be ill. I'd just be sitting on the PC at the front desk welcoming people, answering the phone and selling drinks/bars etc. If I had been on my break I would have done, but as it would have been an 8 days on the trot at work (including 3 or so 11 hour days) I actually wanted to relax.
(to relax I went into town and ate cookies on a bench and watched the world go by for an hour or so outside the Disney store)
Boo!
I might have been fun dispensing random health related advice to soccer moms and incredably attractive 17 years old girls. Though I'd prolly be in on the day when only fat 50 year olds turn up or 18 year old boys with 8% body fat looking to beef up by doing CURLS repeatedly for 3 hours.
Where are those 5 new Norweigan 20 somethings when you need them eh.
woo!
anyhoo,
off to the pub for no good reason at all.

Hrmmm
Yamaha's new 2009 VMAX just been shown off. Limited production will ship November 08.

Thats a 1700cc V-4 engine that produces around 200bhp. In a bike...
Yours for £16000. Early reports indicate its very good at going in a straight line, but little else. Might steer better if the front wheel stayed on the ground.
I am undecided if I think it looks cool or not.. opinions?

Was going to the gym this evening when I stopped to pet a small black cat that lives half way up the road. Its excessively friendly and when it was younger it used to follow you home for ages if you so much as stroked it or looked at in a nice way.
I bent over to stroke it and it started climbing on me, climbed onto my lap when I was crouched, managed to snake its way around my arm and up onto my back and started lying on its back and rolling around against the back of my head purring. It did this for a good few minutes, certainly long enough for a young couple to walk down the orad past me with a "wtf" look on thier face at the freaky guy in the thsirt with fake blood stains, a combichrist coat and a kitten purring and rolling around balanced across his shoulders and neck.
SUPER CUTE!
oh yeah bodyfat 19% approx. If I was a woman id have a six pack. Unfortunately seeing as I have neither proper boobs or child bearing hips the bodyfat I need to get a 6pack is a lot lower around the 12% Body fat.
Oh well.
I had akitten crawling all over me. I had a good day.

Righto! I am now all pied up with my full rack of Jack Daniels Ribs from TGI fridays. I also had an Oreo cookie shake and Dirt cake (very chocolately). I sadly though do not have a balloon animal hat.
Having glanced over the last years worth of Live journal Enties I now bring you my year summary!
( changes! )All in all I am likely the happiest and most confident I have ever been. woo
( regrets over the last year ) I suppose that at this kind of age you often get people look back over thier lives and think "what have I achieved, what could I have done, what would I do diffferently. If I died today what would people remember me most for?" well as daft as all that sounds they are right. you do think of these things
( 30 years worth of achievements )
( Things I regret in general )
operation yashima! in other news.. Operation Yashima was a complete success! Weight this weekend was 75.2kg (165lbs or 11.8stone). Thats almost 5kg loss this month alone. For those of you who saw me at Amecon I was around 80-81kg at the time. I am very pleased with this and strange things in terms of definition are happening to my gut. Its NOT quite flat but its so getting there! i was tempted to post a picture, but fear of seeing it all over 4chan put me off. I still dont like my mantits, but they are certainly not anywhere near as bad as they were, infact they are far more peccy than ever, but I just want my chest to be flat. I think new target weight to aim towards is 72kg. There will be no target date on this, I will just continue eating well and doing what i do to get there gradually. At present I seem to be losing 0.5g a week

I am sure at somepoint later today I will post a long and boring list of regrets, achievements and what not over the last 30 years.
Last night i went to the pub for a bit then came back to play some 4player Rock band with ian, Rod, Emma and Jim. Was rather amusing. turns out I can Sing Perfect drug by NIN and play bass at the same time. previously the hardest things I could do like that easy things like Creep or maps. Though that was guitar not base.
Today I have to go check in on Operation yashima and this afternoon I intend on going to somewhere like TGI fridays and to celebrate this most monumentouse occasion.... were having Ribs! Specifically a rack of BBQ ribs, coleslaw, fries, onion rings, corn on the cob, oreo cookie shakes and somekind of chocolate death fudge cake.
Anyhoo
Kneebone defeats 30th Birthday. Kneebone gains 1687 experience points. Kneebone obtains £60. You finda a Criminal damage underwear on 30th birthday You find a Charles worthington hair product on 30th Birthday. You find Guitar hero III on 30th Birthday. You find a Dryadic abjuration : feet on 30th Birthday. You find a 30 seconds to mars tshirt on 30th Birthday. You find a grey hair on the 30th birthday. You find a lightning crystal on the 30th birthday.

godsgirls.com were at the club I go to this evening. (so I have a few flyers with tits on them and a couple of free stickers for my bike) Unfortunately so too were a million students who joined the rock society on Monday at the University. This meant loads of people moshing to innapropriate music cos it was "off the chain" and "fucking metal". Basically generally annoying me immenslsy. Especially some bearded twat talking about all the goths there. I think i saw like.. one maybe. and I was looking at the same people as him.
Anyhoo, did speak to this cool Azn in a denim jacket covered in band patches and logos and a I also spoke to couple of girls younger than my sister. Plus some random drunk girl tried on my glasses.
As fun as all this was there were too many of them, I already hate them all and they suck!

[30 Sep 2008|10:13pm] |
Anyone want to buy a house in Royal crecent Bath?
Its not just a crummy appartment or flat converted out of one of the old full homes, its the whole thing. So the below ground level and the levels all above that at usual height all the way to the top.
You3 £3mill buys: levels 1 to 3, so basically the full shebang. You get a master ensuite bedroom, another ensuite bedroom, another bedroom. Two more bedrooms, a drawing room, a withdrawing room, a reception area, study, kitchen, lounge, cloakroom, another couple or rooms, large garden, a bathroom, some more rooms, buckets loads of character and maybe 1 or two more random rooms.
it sadly does not come with a swimming pool. But fuckme.. its Royal crescent and its blinking huge.
Oh, I also now have an ISA, but currently it only has £1 in it.

Saturday was a day of motorbiking FUNZ</b>. Myself and Rod decided to take the motorbikes to Bristol for a bit, this however meant giving Rod a backie over to where he keeps the bike. then giving his friend a backie to back where i live to drop him off to where he wanted to go as he couldnt use said bike. Then off to Bristol. First stop was TKMAX. A couple of OK thisrts but nothing worth buying. Still limited stock on the stuff Id get.
We then went to Fowlers the big ass bike shop in Bristol. Here we looked at helmets and gloves, and many many very very shiny KTM motorbikes with suprisingly cheap finance options avaliable. I may even have discussed this sort of thing with a chap there and what the service intervals are for some of them. KTM being a very performance based bike manufacturer have low service intervals. The standard bikes have 4000 miles, the more offroad based ones and competition based are eveyr 3 hours. Which obviously as I dont have my own pit crew following me around is impractical. I looked at a 2007 KTM 950SM for £5999 (usually £6.5k), a KTM 2006 990 SUPERDUKE for £5999 (usually £8k) and a selection of various KTM 690 SM and SMR ones for £4400 - £5000 (usually £5999-6100). I sat on most of them and had a feel for the riding position but the fact that they are sooo powerful means they are not fuel economic to ride. The 690 does 43mpg and can only go 90miles between refeuls. This somewhat put me off given my current cash related situation so I will think about it in maybe a year. After looking at bikes I meet a guy who used to work at Taylor Racing Chippenham (he sold me a DRZ 400SM in 2005 and remembered me). he now works at Fowlers and says he's nbever earned so much money in his life. I suppose at Taylors he prolly sold 1-2 bikes a week. A shop as big as fowlers would likely do that every couple of days so if he gets a few hundred quid per bike he could get paid 30-40k a year.
Grah!! WANTS A KTM
Well the cool thing about Fowlers is the greasy cafe upstairs called Harry's Diner. We both had a nice greasy gammon and chips with a load of other bikers and waled into town.
Popped into the usual alternative clothes hsops and found some cool atticus Tshirts that I liked but were too small. We also saw a wedding go by through the markets. Amusingly as part of the wedding group I saw a girl with pretty hair and nice eye makeup who looked like someone I went to University with years ago. They looked at me caught my eye and smiled, so I looked back and did the same and as they walked past they said "alright Kneebone". Somewhat confusing me as I didnt recognise them specifically by name. This leads me to suspect that as I didn't immediately recognise them and I cant think of anyone in Bristol that would call me by the name "kneebone" it must be someone who either reads my livejournal or knows me through the anime scene such as Amecon or Aya con. madness. still it was amusing to be recognised.
EDIT: Found some of the atticus tshirts I liked yesterday online in the sale for £10 woo!
on the subject of anime I also saw a RANDOM overweight cosplayer dressed as time slip Sakura from naruto (no wig) just walking around town with her friends Obviously on a high level Ninja mission to destroy evil suger based sweets and snacks and pies In Bristol.
The Bristol town centre shop redeveolpment finished on wednesday so this was the first weekend it was open to the public. they have been redeveloping it for a good few years now and its freaking HUGE. They do however have a CULT shop (the people who distribute superdry etc) whichw as bout 3-4 times the size as the shop in Bath. there were also a few other cool shops and stuff but it was really just too busy to take it all in and explore. Another day perhaps.
Other things of note was a heavily moddified motorbike we saw that looked like it was out of madmax. It had lots of random things wielded to it and was painted up to look battered and rusted. It had all sorts, gasmasks, wire frame, spiked knockleduster hand guards the works. There was also a small gang of mopeds going around.. but not the chavy types on small modern ones. It was about 6-8 members of the Bristol MODS on a selection of heavily customised Lambrettas and vespas covered in headlights and mirrors with custom paint jobs. They were all dressed in long military style overcoats covered in thier gang logos and stuff. Most of them were middle age enthusiasts (50 +) so that was a nice treat to see.
operation yashima 76.9kg still However this was a legitimate reading and not like last week after I had sweated out 500g of water and was dehydrated. early indications suggest 75kg will NOT be reached by next sunday but this is the lightest I have been in years and Ive been consistantly under 78kg ALLLLLL WEEEEEEK where as normally i dip in and around it for two days then slip up. i am pleased either way and that simple thing of just dropping out the crap like not eating chocolate, pizza, chinese or crisps etc really makesa big difference if you already eat reasonably healthily. I say that but GAWD I needs some fibre lol. <.<
erm.. oh yean. Bristol is FULL OF SCENE GIRLS HUZZAH! As nice as they all were to look at I imagine on closer inspection 90% of them were under the ages of 20.. ok.. maybe even 17.. but hey. Looking is fine and daaaaaaaaaaaymn they all have such great hair!

pleased to report a continuation on Operation yashima.
Weight is now 76.9kg (12st1). Body fat is a little over 19%. (Puts me at borderline. optimal is <16) Thighs and calves are smaller, chest and arms are larger. Blood pressure is a little higher than last time for some reason but still in the realms of good.
Resting heart rate 63bbp (this puts me very close to excellent <61) Average for my age is 74 so Im well below that, an athelete my age would get 50-56 for comparison.
I R PLEASED. Two more weeks till 30 and at this rate that 75 kg is well within my reach.

Am Dissapointed to discover it is only 9:30 and not something like 11pm. oh well!
Met up with Kate from work before she leaves at the end of the month on wednesday. Hung around town for a bit, had coffee, nachos, more coffee and chatted about lots of random stuff. Was nice, though I was still a bit ill and had to blow my nose continually.
Thursday I dont recall, I think I became well enough to gym it in the evening. Erm, bringing me to Friday where I hung around with Emma from work. General shopping and stuff, followed by some Rock Band.
Yesterday I went to see Emma's brother band and some other bands. None of which were music I liked. Bit too shouty, but meh. james is a friend so might as well see his band when he plays locally.
Today, much like yesterday! Work. Did nothing of note when I got back and snoozed for a bit. The Rod came over and we went for the cheap option of walking into town, seeing what was on in the cinema (nothing when we arrived or soon so meh). So we headed over to the park and pissed about on the swings, sea saw, roundabout, slide and spider web climbing thing.
Currently watching some GTO that Ste has. Ive watched liek 8 eps about 4 years ago but I have up to 48 or so. No idea if thats all of it but woo, its amusing.
Hellsing Ultimate episode 1 nearly downloaded so Ill watch that in a sec.

FFXI Ok so dispite quiting like a year ago those in the know will know full well I still read and post on my linkshell website, I look at FFXIAH website at least twice a day to see what peopel are doing and I read BG all the freaking time at work. When housemates catch me reading something to do with FFXi I pretend I was looking at porn!
Anyhoo, been reading all the Absolute Virtue stuff since the patch last week and the first kills in something like 2 yeras that havent been a direct result of the either the wall glitch or locking it somehow in the trail markings. Sadly though the changes SE made to AV was lowering its total HP. They occasionally give useless info about how to defeat it legitimately and state that the DEV team have done it with 18 people and then give us useless help about preventing its regen (which is useless seeing as it face rapes everything way before thats even an issue). Because of the recent news coverage on the 18 hour battle with pandemonium Warden AV has been adjusted. However they only adjusted its HP and its spawn time so you have to kill it within 2 hours or it buggers off to read the paper infront of the fire. They argue that people have been going about it the wrong way yet have offered NO FUCKING CLUES as to what the correct way is. Thus people will use techniques which they know on it (usually surviving long enough to drop it to 90% health). Now theyve adjusted it it can now be Zerged by throwing Kraken/merc kris/riddl DRKs at it. Naturally this has kicked of a server wide "kill it before they readjust it" seeing as people have been frustrated about this same monster for over 2 fucking years. Sitting on pop sets knowing full well it drops some of the most godly items in the game but at the same time knowing there isnt a hope in hell they could kill it.
Well shock horror now people CAN kill it they are just doing just that. By the bucket load.
Well tomorrow is a maintenance and I (like most poeple) beleive that they will adjust it somehow to make throwing lots of DRKs at it no viable. Though because SE like thier mystic japanese secrecy they wont give any help or suggestions as to how to kill it in legitimate means. Seriously you think in two freaking years they could give some more help.
Good luck to all linkshells currently giving it a shot and for fucks sake SE sort out your goddamn game.
NRGH!
We now return to usual ramblings.
Ran about 7 miles earlier, will likely go back to the gym later and do biceps or something. for now though I have to rustle up something to eat and get ready for my hairdressers appointmemt at 3.

time off
ok As ive said I have 10 days off work and like clockwork.. Im ALREADY BORED!
HALP!
So far I have filled my weekend with going to the gym sleeping, waking up to wtach a movie then sleeping again. I see this happening for the rest of the time off except for a couple fo days when I have something specific planned.
clothes
I WANTS MOAR! I want to go somewhere that sells tsuff that is diferent to what i am usually restricted to (thus not bath or Bristol) i imagine London is the obvious place, but meh that in itself is 2 tshirts worth of money just getting there and I dont like ordering online as you really REALLY need to try anything you buy on as I have been amazingly suprised with what suits me and what has a better cut/ look that would first appear. Also seeinga s some branded tshirts I can get away with a small, whereas others i am a medium. rah rah, want lots of money to spend on clothes (and bikes) rah. bored.
Bike ride Went for a bike ride to Chippenam yesterday and was dissapointed to see the old motorbike shop there had closed down. Still on the way back I did swing past castle comb or whatever its called which is the villiage that STARDUST was filed in if my sources are correct. very pleasant it was too. very English in a green and pleasant land kind of way.
Operation Yashima Lost a kg last week. 3 weeks approx till im 30. I am hoping to maintain that momentum so my birthday present to myself is looking the best I ever have. Am semi tempted to get back on creatine again as my benching has withered to about 4kg - 6kg less than best and umm, im vain and want bigger arms.
Currently watching Fight Club to drag me out of boredom.
EDIT:
ZOMG! i just realised i never watched the commentary of fight club before. Thats something to do later once I finished watching it normally.
