Recent deaths in wrestling [Jul. 18th, 2007|12:51 pm]
[mood | bouncy]

As all or many of you have heard Chris Benoit killed his wife Nancy (Woman)his son and then himself. I'll get back to that in a minute. I want to start off by talking about the other recent deaths in the biz. These include Bam Bam Bigelow,Mike Awesome, Johnny Grunge and Sherri Martel. As I type this no one as I know of is accussed of the death of Martel or how she passed away. The others Bam Bam and Awesome have been determined. I ask of all of you that are in the wrestling business to not start using steroids or for that matter any drugs. You will not only hurt yourself but you will damage your family and fans.Just take a look back to Eddie Guerrero and see what that has done to not only his family but close friends in the business. Take it easy everyone..

It is time to move on [Nov. 12th, 2006|12:23 am]
[mood | blah]

Ladies and gentlemen I have come to the decision to end my Live Journal blogs simply because I have run out of things to say. When I started this I was going to write about what I thought of the wrestling business. I however have more things in my life going on or wish to do. I would like to personally thank all of you that have taken the time to read my opinions on various subjects. One final thing I would like to say is that if you have a passion about things don't ever let anything get in the way. Thank you everyone. Take care........

Wrestlemania & other random thoughts [Apr. 11th, 2006|09:50 pm]
[mood | chipper]

I know it's been quite awhile since I last posted anything but I honestly didn't know what to write about.  However since Wrestlemania is in the books I figured I would write about that.

For the most part I enjoyed the show and the matches except for the Playboy Lingerie Pillow Fight. That to me was a waste of time.  Instead of having that they should have had MNM defend the WWE tag team titles or some kind of cruiserweight #1 contender match.  The match between Cena & HHH was better than I thought it would be although I felt HHH looked goofy as hell coming out in that Conan The Barbarian getup.

Rey winning the World title (Smackdown) was no shock at all.  I was hoping that after Wrestlemania that Eddie Guerrero's name/ lagacy would be left alone but now it looks like it will continue with something going on with Chavo "quitting" Raw the day after Wrestlemania.  Let the man rest in peace already.

Randy Orton getting suspended was a bit of a shock.  However I am somewhat happy that WWE is sending hin a message.  Hopefully it will get through to him but somehow I doubt it.  He as everyone has heard has been calling the "Divas" cunts behind the scenes at shows and it finally blew up at Wrestlemania.  I wonder how he would feel if someone was calling his mother that and also where he gets off disrespecting people in the first place. He has way too much of an ego and needs to remember he should leave his ego at the door.  Shut up and wrestle.  That is what he's getting paid for in the first place.

I was glad to see that RVD is starting to get a major push by winning the Money In The Bank Match.  Hopefully WWE will put the belt on him.  He deserves it.  He's just one person WWE has misused since coming to the company.

Well that's all.  Hope ya enjoyed reading

Exploiting Guerrero and Message board idiots [Feb. 17th, 2006|11:35 am]
[mood | moody]

Well it’s been a little over 24 hours since the untimely death of former ECW tag team champion Johnny Grunge and unfortunately the assholes on message boards have already started talking shit.  It amazes me that the so called adults have to resort to bashing people in order to make them selves feel better.  If they took a little bit of that time and energy they use bashing people then maybe their lives wouldn’t be so fucking pathetic.  Of course I know I am asking too much from a bunch of jerkoffs but still they need to mature a little.  I wonder how they would feel if it were them who constantly got trashed all over the internet.  I’m sure they would be pissed even though they wouldn’t admit it.

Speaking of message boards I wish they could all be wiped off the internet entirely.  They do nothing but cause shit.  You have “Wrestler A” bashing “Wrestler B” or bashing a female manage/valet talking shit about their personal lives claiming she’s a whore. Sleeping around and other crap. What business is it of anyone’s what they do when they are not performing for you assholes?  No one’s…. Get a life assholes.

Onto my next subject which is in my opinion the exploitation of Eddie Guerrero’s death in the current storyline with Rey Misterio and Randy Orton.  Personally I believe it’s classless for Vince McMahon to be doing this. Making money off of someone who was a loyal employee of your company is just uncalled for.  If you wanna set up a match between Misterio and Orton fine, but just leave Guerrero out of the storyline.  Show him and his still grieving family some respect… Let the man rest peacefully.

Well that’s all I have to say this week.  Leave any comments if you’d like even though I know no one will.

RIP Johnny Grunge [Feb. 16th, 2006|02:22 pm]
[mood | sad]

Mike "Johnny Grunge" Durham was pronounced dead on arrival at an Atlanta area hospital this morning.

The only available details were he was at a friend's house in Peachtree City, GA, and was gasping for air and rushed to the hospital. The preliminary diagnosis from the hospital is that it was said to have to do with complications from sleep apnea.

Grunge and the late Rocco Rock (Ted Petty), as the tag team of Public Enemy, were the first major stars created by ECW in a program against The Funk Brothers. They became ECW's most popular act, to the point they were subject to a bidding war of sorts between WCW and WWF. However, taken out of the ECW environment, they weren't as successful.

Grunge, whose age is believed to be 39, was said by friends to have never been the same since Petty's death.

Turmoil in indy wrestling again and other crap [Dec. 6th, 2005|12:04 am]
[mood | disappointed]
[music |Don't Worry Be Happy]

Well as everyone has heard by now IWA MS Heavyweight champion Jimmy Jacobs recently trashed the title at an indy show to the dismay of IWA. His reasons for doing this was because he needed cash to pay his rent and IWA had to cancel shows due to medical problems in Ian Rotten's family.  Jacobs went on to say in his livejournal that he has a price and sold out IWA and that anyone else in the same situation would have done the same thing.  I personally don't believe so.  He claims it is his belt and he can do whatever he feels like. While this might be true I highly doubt that trashing the belt isn't something wrestlers would do normally. Don't get me wrong, I am not putting the entire blame on Mr. Jacobs here because IWA as of late has been unsteady at best in having consecutive shows. One week they are close to shutting down and the next they have been saved.  The problem is also the fault of the AAW which is the company that Jacobs trashed the IWA belt for on their show. AAW is pretty much run or has guys that left/were fired by the IWA months ago and I believe this was a ploy to stick it to IWA.  I've said it before and I will say it again, indy groups need to stop the bullshit between them and work together to better the business. This petty bs is pointless and uncalled for.  The people running these promotions are supposed to be professional but act like children when it comes to crap like this. Now IWA has publicly stated that if a wrestler wants to work for them then they cannot work for AAW. This is just what the business doesn't need.  You are not only taking an extra payday from talent but also forcing them too choose when all the majority of the workers want to do is wrestle. Grow the hell up people.

Another rant from yours truly [Oct. 12th, 2005|09:55 pm]
[mood | calm]

Well i'm back after an extended break and I honestly don't know what the hell to say in this update/post. I guess i'll rejoice now that the Yankees are gone from the playoffs this year. FU Steinbrenner. This is exactly what you get for overpaying a bunch of losers. If they had never even had made the playoffs it would have been even greater. Hockey has finally gotten their shit together and started playing again and the Flyers look like shit although i'll probably go to a few games this year.

What's more can I say about the wrestling biz? Hmmmmmmm, well it still sucks to a point. WWE Homecoming wasn't bad. Actually it was pretty damn good. Now if WWE could only get into bringing more meaning to their titles. Maybe i'm asking too much. I miss the days of watching the "big time" wrestler going over on the hopless jobber every week. Maybe i'm the only one but every match that takes place is always describes as being a "main event". BULLSHIT. TNA hovever is peaking my interest with bring in the former Dudley Boyz and Rhino. They if given the chance could possible be major players for the company. Back in WWE, HHH is back. WOW. I wonder how long it will be before Father in Law Vince puts the belt back on him. This past weeks Raw wasn't bad. Seeing old lady Linda go heel was interesting and shocking (for me at least). That woman has bigger balls than her old man.

I just realized it's been about 2 years since i've been to a show and to be quite honest I don't miss being at an arena. The people/fans are such a pain in the ass to deal with. I will never understand the following:

1. Why is it that people who have front row seats constantly stand during the show? You people are sitting ringside so how much can you miss?

2. Why do heavy chicks that go to shows always throw themselves at the wrestlers when I wouldn't even fuck ya if god gave my crippled ass the ability to walk?

3. Why do fans/assholes get loaded before a show and then continue to drink during the show? No when to say when!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I have things to do so I will get going. See ya later people

PS: Congrats to Mickie James(Alexis Laree)for finally being called up to the WWE after a year in OVW

Hardy, Hassaan, Cornette & releases [Aug. 2nd, 2005|02:13 pm]
[mood | annoyed]

Well I guess I'll start off with Matt Hardy "officially" being back in the WWE. Sorry Vice but people figured that out the night he mysteriously wound up in the back area attacking Edge.  Aren't the only people supposed to be back there wrestlers and other WWE staff and personnel? If that wasn't bad enough, Hardy has been "attacking" Edge practically every week since. I lost interest in the angle/worked shoot since that first night. McMahon finally announced on Raw the obvious, Hardy versus Edge at Summerslam. Now onto my Muhammad Hassan rant. The WWE created this character portrayed by Mark Caponi who by the way is Italian. Now since WWE is getting media coverage that they apparently did not want they decided to do away with the character. The only one that suffers is Mark Caponi.  He was just doing what was asked of him and how does the WWE say thank you? They send him back down to OVW because they killed off the character. WWE are hypocrites in my opinion in this situation. Caponi unfortunately will probably not be brought back up to the WWE anytime soon and more than likely given his release from his WWE contract. My next topic is the WWE releases.  For the most part I don't have a problem with them. A few I don't quite get but hey that's the nature of the business. The thing that I don't get is why wasn't Funaki or Hardcore Holly apart of those released? Neither has done shit in recent years that is remotely memorable. The biggest shock to me was that of the Dudley Boys being told no more negotiations would be done concerning their contracts. The WWE has really dropped the ball in my opinion. They (WWE) lacks quality tag teams. If they wanted to save money than they could have done away with doing another skank (opps) Diva Search. That's just what the business needs, "More fake titted idiots". Speaking of idiots, has anyone seen the promos for the new "creative wonder" "The Bogeyman"? I'm shitting in my pants already.... WOW...... Jim Cornette was recently fired by WWE for slapping the shit out of some young punk down in OVW. Young workers today have it way too easy. Back before WWE took over the business if some punk got bitch slapped by a promoter no one would care as I don't. The bastard more than likely deserved it. The real slap in the face is now to Cornette as Paul Heyman is writing the television for OVW. Well people that's it for this week. Stay tuned. Same crip channel, same crip time.

Chris Candido 1972-2005 [May. 6th, 2005|10:17 pm]
[mood | depressed]

Well it's been a week since the untimely unfortunate death of Chris Candido and I still don't know what to say. I'm not gonna be like everyone else and say I knew Chris because quite frankly I didn't. My only interaction with Chris was during his time in ECW as a fan. Even though during that time in his life he was fighting "demons" he never let it get too him when talking or meeting fans. He always took time to say hi and bullshit around with people. One night in particular he had come up to me after wrestling Terry Funk one night and asked me to get up so he could sit in my wheelchair because he was exhausted which I thought was funny. Other times I laughed at Chris was before the above mentioned match with Funk. Chris came to the ring in the same type trunks Funk wore and got a good laugh out of the crowd. Another time was before a match with someone I can't remember right now but anyway, Chris grabbed the mic, looked up at Paul Heyman and called him a cheap f'n jew bastard which popped the crowd. The real shame of his passing is that he had finally put the "demons" to rest and was looking great in his short time in TNA. He had put on a little weight but it did him good. To die at only 33 years of age is such a tragic thing. Out of all of the things he could have died from he passed away from what anyone of us could get; a friggin blot clot. The one's that will miss out now that he's gone (Besides his family) are the younger wrestlers coming up. They could have learned a lot from him by getting in the ring with him or just by watching his matches on tape or dvd. He could have a great match with a blowup doll. Unfortunately now that he is gone it seems like every friggin indy promotion is trying to make money off of his death by having "Memorial" shows. The man is only gone a week and I have seen at least 5 indy companies planning shows around his death. This is hypocritical. Making money off of a dead person is just plain wrong. Fans, don't go to these shows. The money is going into the pocket of the promoter. The only company that is stating the money raised from a "Memorial" show that will be given to Chris' widow Tammy Sytch (AKA Sunny) is USA Pro. Anyone who would like to send their sympathies, please email candidomemorial@aol.com. Furthermore, if you would like to help Tammy you can do so by mail. UXW Wrestling c/o Tammy Sytch PO Box 140573 Howard Beach, NY 11414-0573. If mailing a donation, please make your donation out to "Tammy Sytch.

There is also a scholarship fund in his name. To donate to that the address is The Chris Candido Scholarship Fund Bank of New York 3rd Avenue; Washington Street Spring Lake, New Jersey 07762. Well that's all for this week.

[Apr. 20th, 2005|05:54 pm]
[mood | chipper]

Well after an extended absence I have decided to return and boy do I have alot to talk about.  First off Wrestlemania sucked major ass in my opinion except for three matches which were The Ladder Match, HBK vs. Angle and the opening match between Eddie Guerrero and Rey Misterio.  Wrestlemania just didn't seem to live up to the hype it was given....  Secondly,  How about the shit between Matt Hardy, Lita & Edge.  I was never a huge fan of any of the three however, I feel Matt got the royal ass fuck by the company he gave his body for...  He also got fucked by his alleged girlfriend and his "friend.  He may not have handled it the right way by commenting about it on his website but he was understandably angry and hurt.  Lita has shown that she and not Trish is the real slut of the WWE.. I wonder how long it will be before her and Edge are history considering Edge has been married twice already and he isn't even thirty yet. I loved the way the Madison Square Garden crowd gave it to both  Rdge and Lita.  They deserve one another

WWE has also released several performers lately.  The most surprising release for me was that of Molly Holly.  She apparently grew tired of the way WWE was going with the Women's division and asked to be released.  She by far was the most technically sound female in the company.  She was also very loyal.  Remember Wrestlemania last year when she agreed to have her head shaved?  How many top workers in the company now would be willing to do that?

Another release was that of Rhyno.  He flipped out at a hotel after Wrestlemania when his soon to be ex wife showed up without their daughter and Rhyno threw and broke a plant in the lobby in the hotel in front of some fans.  I don't know if I could blame him for being upset.  Who would not want to see their child when they are on the road almost 300 days a year?

Anyone going to the ECW reuninon show?

Allison Danger was released/told she would not be booked again by ROH.  Way to go Gabe.  Get rid of the4 first woman you had in the company by telling her that you don't have anything for her but you bring other women in.. Smart move.

Lastly, the situation with 3PW.  I honestly loved hearing that Jasmine St. Skank is no longer involved in the wrestling business.  Selling the company was the brightest thing the Blue Meanie has done in years. All Jas did was supply money anyway.  Iv'e never been to a 3pw show but I may just go to a show now that she is no longer around.

Superbowl here we come [Feb. 1st, 2005|07:08 am]
[mood | calm]

Well I've been putting this off long enough. It's time to give you people something wonderful to read.

To begin with, congratulations to the Philadelphia Eagles for making it to the Super Bowl for the first time in 24 years...... It's about friggin time. They are gonna destroy the Pats....

As everyone knows by now the Royal Rumble is history and the long awaited "face" turn of Batista is slowly but surely happening..... Personally I love the idea of the big man going "face". Hopefully Hunter Hearst McMahon will finally drop the goddam belt...

Speaking of the Rumble, I had a minor problem with the show itself.

Why couldn't the Bashams, La Resistance or Funaki have matches on the PPV? 3 champions with no matches on a ppv....

Question for you people.... Is it me or does Simon Dean (Nova from ECW) remind you of infomercial guru Tony Little?

Is anyone as sick as I am of JBL as Smackdown Champion?

Now onto some of my thoughts on the world of indy wrestling..... It seems like this "feud between PWU & CZW is getting dumber by the minute. Now referee Mike Kehner gets canned from CZW because he also refs for PWU.... Aren't wrestlers and referees allowed to make a living in the business anymore? Both companies need to grow up and stop the bullshit....

Finally in good news concerning indy wrestling. A certain wrestling rat is finally out of the business. I will not say her name but her initials are DD. This bimbo didn't bring shit to the business except free pussy and head to anyone that wanted it. She claims she left wrestling on her own but the truth is she was thrown out. She was nothing but a headache and a bitch to deal with and when someone would confront her on shit she started the paranoid whore would always call the cops.....

Well that's all for this update. Cya next time...

PS: Happy Birthday Alicia.....

Where the hell do I start? [Dec. 18th, 2004|10:18 pm]
[mood | cheerful]

Well I figured since it's been over a month since I updated this thing I would make all of you smile and post something new. A hell of alot has happened since I posted last. Several WWE workers have been released, Bob Holly has struck again and WWE had another shitty ppv. First off, as I just mentioned, several WWE workers were let go. In some cases I can see why certain people were let go and in others I don't quite understand. Case in point, Why Gail Kim and Jazz were released is beyond dumb considering they were two of the best female workers WWE had. This just proves that the WWE doesn't give a rats ass about the womens title. To make things worse, they go and hire several of the Diva Search losers just because they look good on tv. In my opinion more guys should have been let go. they are: Rosey, Chris Nowitski, Val Venis, Stevie Richards, Mark Henry, Viscera and Bob Holly.

Speaking of Mr. Hardcore, he's shown he's nothing but an asshole again by "shooting" on Rene Dupree during a match giving him a black eye. His punishment? An alleged fine and he had to job to an unknown. Hmmm, If memory serves me correctly when Perry Saturn "shot" on someone he was forced into a stupid (but funny) gimmick with a fucking mop.

The latest WWE PPV Armageddon sucked big time. Going in I was hopeful JBL would have dropped the title but unfortunately that didn't happen.

TNA had another Sunday night ppv which actually wasn't that bad. The six sides of steel cage match and the x-division title match were well worth the price of the show for me.

The major problem I have with TNA is that they are making the same mistakes WCW made years ago. I am referring to using older workers. Wrestlers such as Hall, Nash, Sting, Dusty and Randy Savage. TNA has alot of great young talent they could showcase more than using 40 year olds in matches. Just my opinion.

Finally, during this holiday season we should all take a little bit of time and think about the men and women of the armed forces in Iraq and Afghanastan fighting for our freedom. They unfortunately will not be able to spend Christmas or New Years with their loved ones. Check out http://www.usocares.org to send a care package to the troops.

I'm Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack [Oct. 14th, 2004|01:25 pm]
[mood | cynical]
[music |Don't Worry Be happy]

Well well well after a few month break I decided to come back and boy am I gonna have some fun... I recently checked out the Pro Wrestling Illustrated 500 list this year and have come to the conclusion that it is a fraud. How in the living hell can Jeff Jarrett, Kane, Shawn Michaels, John Bradshaw Layfield and Booker T be ranked higher than in my opinion the best indy worker in the country "Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels. Futhermore, half of the bozos on the list probable 75% of you reading this never even heard of before. Later in the post I will show the complete list to show all of you what I mean.

Sadly Ray Traylor (Big Bossman) passed away at the age of 41 or 42. Yet another wrestler cut down in the prime of their lives. Makes me wonder who is going to be next...

Their seems to be an apparent fued between CZW and PWU (Pro Wrestling Unplugged) a group operated by the Backseat Boyz. Recently on czwfans.com someone apparently posted Johnny Kashmere's address and phone number on the message board. Also, Kashmere was apparently assaulted by someone he is saying was CZW wrestler Wifebeater. I never understood the friction between local promotions. In my opinion they should be helping one another instead of trying to destroy the "competition". Promoters for some reason do not get the hint/fact that the more promotions running shows then that means more talent can find work thus make money. What's wrong with that?

In the opps I did it again files, Pro Wrestler New Jack was arrested recently. Police charged New Jack with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. He was being held under $40,003 bond Tuesday in the Duval County Jail. A court appearance was set for Nov. 2.

Promoter Maurice Williams said he doesn't promote hard-core. "We wrestle. You won't see any barbed wire bats and chains."

Williams said wrestlers will be checked closely before future bouts.

"There will be nothing ever coming near Thunder again," he said.

Now my question to all of you out there in internet land is the following... Have you ever known New Jack to not use a "weapon" during one of his matches? Hell Fucking NO. The promoter is either a lying bastard trying to cover his own ass or he has never even heard of New Jack before.

Anyway as I promised when I started this post, the following is the Pro Wrestling Illustrated 500 list for this year. Leave any comments. I love reading them.

Billy Gunn/Bob Holly bitching, Women’s wrestling/Women in Wrestling, Old School days [Jul. 9th, 2004|11:46 am]
[mood | discontent]

Hello fans, friends and foes. Welcome to the 2nd edition of my journal. This week I am going to touch on a number of subjects. Let’s get started shall we.

Billy Gunn and Bob “I can beat up a kid from Tough Enough” Holly: These two have been bitching and moaning about the lack of a push and even attended a TNA Xplosion taping. What the frig has either of them accomplished in recent history? If they are upset let them find work elsewhere. I’m quite sure the WWE will do fine without either of them.

Great American Bullshit: This PPV was a complete waste of time. The WWE should be ashamed of themselves for putting on such a farce. Anytime you have Bob Holly versus Mordecai (Who is in the process of being sent back to OVW if he isn’t already because he blows), Billy Gunn versus Kenzo Suzuki plus Torrie versus Sable as 3 major matches on a ppv. This was bound too suck. It reminds me of the 2003 Royal Rumble and 2003 No Way Out matches HHH had against Scott Steiner. They totally sucked.

Women’s wrestling/Women in Wrestling: Is it me or does women’s wrestling suck today? Unfortunately in today’s wrestling women have become a T&A show. Whatever happened to the women who can actually work? Sure, WWE has a few women like Lita, Victoria, Jazz and Molly Holly but they also have Shaniqua (or at least they did until she was shipped to OVW) Jackie Gayda, Trish, Sable and Torrie Wilson… Don’t get me wrong, there are still women in the business who can “work” but now it seems that if you can suck(litterally) and spread ypur legs you get booked on a number of indy shows. Whatever happened too women like Baby Doll, Dark Journey, Precious, Sunshine, Woman and Sherri Martel? These women while they weren’t wrestlers played a crucial part in most matches.

Old School Wrestling: This is my final topic for today boys and girls.. In my humble opinion wrestling needs to go back to the days of old. What I mean by that is wrestling matches do not need to be filled with crazy dives or spots. This not only is a good way to get yourself permanately injured but it takes the crowd out of the rest of the matches if they are not filled with crazy spots. Also, it doesn’t seem like wrestlers give much thought into their matches. All they want to do is top the match before theirs. Wrestlers today need to pace themselves during a match. If they would work more on the mat they could get the crowd into the match just like someone doing 3 or four crazy dives.

Well that’s all I have to say. Until next time, cya…..

Random thoughts [Jun. 16th, 2004|03:03 pm]
[mood | grumpy]

Welcome to the first installment to the King Of Wheelchairs Live Journal. Some of you will like what I have to say and others won't. Let's get started.

First the negative.... JBL. This guy is a complete moron in my opinion. He just recently wrote a column on WWE.com but miraculously forgot to mention his stupidity over in Germany. In case you don't know what he did I will refresh your memory. While on tour with the Smackdown crew, Bradshaw decided to go overboard with being a heel and started doing nazi mannerisms in the ring during his match. What he did not realize or was too stupid to care about is the fact that doing something like that in Germany is against the law. He was almost immediately fired from CNBC for doing this. In his cloumn Brashaw blamed the internet media for his firing. He defended his actions by saying that that's how a "heel" is suppossed to act. Um, no Bradshaw you don't disgrace yourself and the company you work for by acting like a jackass. You deserved to be fired by CNBC. Furthermore, if he didn't belong to the "Vince Mcmahon Kiss my Ass Club he would not have a gig in the WWE either. Hey Bradshaw, Do you have compromising pics of Vinny that he does not want made public? Other people I think belong to the "Vince McMahon Kiss My ass Club" are the following: Billy Gunn, Big Show, Hardcore Holly and Mark Henry. What have any of these individuals done lately to still be under contract by WWE? NOTHING!!!

Now onto the RF Video/ROH situation.... Why Rob "I want to slam my salami up a little boys ass" Feinstein isn't in jail is beyond me. He is in need of some serious help. Why ROH would keep his involvement from the ROH talent is simple. They did not want any of the talent too walk. People like this do not belong in the business. They ruin it for people doing the right thing.

I will end this segment with something positive. NWA Florida is raising money for a 6 year old girl suffering from Leukemia named Bailee Dunnigan. Check out nwaflorida.com for more information.
