| | hot & busy | ] | What the heck am I doing here? Well, at the moment I am waiting for the clock to tick into right position so that I can deliver that freakin' Visa Application that I've been sitting on and now starts to morph into a ticking bomb.
I have also made friends with the most adorable little kittie in the city, and I have named him Button! Honestly, there must be something the cats here eat .. or maybe something they eat have eaten..? Because they are all extremely nice and cuddly! And I happen to be a favourite of a little black one. Oh he makes my life so much easier to bear!
Not that studies suck, of course. I LOVE THEA 301! And we're doing The Alchemist yay. Alchemy is cool.
Oh it is time..

| | pissed off | ] | A piece of advice for everyone thinking of travelling by airplane: Do invest in a steel layered mail-clad suitcase with multiple 41-digit code locks on it! Then reinforce it with an entire roll of silver duct tape -- No make that three -- Otherwise your dearly beloved and priceless items may be mugged by a cheeky airport insider.
Yap, that's exactly what happened to me. I finally arrived in New Zealand only to realise that some spineless asshole had wrenched open my suitcase, taken the iBook and its as well as my iPod's accessories...and my PJs for some reason. So there I was: exhausted, disoriented, and with no permanent place to live, and completely ribbed for all means of important information and documents. Not to mention my entire music collection.
Hell I've spent YEARS gathering all that good stuff and now it's all bloody gone... I had a backup on my dad's iMac but didn't want to take up unneccessary space that he might need later so yes I deleted it. I also had one on my olde iPod, but that one went ad undas. And the music on Mr Pink equals a mere 2%. And what use is that when I cannot charge it? |

Dreamed I was examining my timetable for the upcoming trimester, and had all the courses I wanted. Filled me with a sort of calm pleasure.
I am in a frustratingly anxious and restless mode All I want is to jump on my bike and ride to the end of oblivion
I try to make myself feel better by roaming around with the car while listening to the radio.. but it does not give the same feeling of freedom or satisfaction as a bicycle does.. |

Just fancied a ride... so I climbed out of my bedroom window(!) and did the sweetest narrow escape maneuver - ever - between our other car and a friend of o-bro's one (why he parked that close in the first place is a mystery).
I'm talking millimeters. Without as much as a hint of a peck. I am so good!
And so I found the beauty in Tom Waits' Underground, while zooming along E18. (If anyone would like to donate that song to me, I would be ever so pleased)
There's no use denying that my driving is a bit wonky due to severe lack of training, but no one can say I cannot get myself out of tight spots!

Here I go, work myself up into a rage, and almost beat my computer tower to pulp because it kept telling me nonsense about an incorrect CD to a game (Broken Sword 2) that worked perfectly fine only minutes earlier.
Then I realise I have been trying to restore a save from wrong game (Broken Sword 1).
A little embarrassed I now click my way to the right game, skip the intro and mean to retrieve my save. Then, instead, I manage to bloody overwrite it!!!!!
I was about to make acquaintances with Rio and now I have to start ALL OVER AGAIN! |

And Kjersti didn't win anything in Lotto this week either Which means no new iPod, for a constancy
Back to transferring my 3000 something music files - one by friggin one - back onto the old one, then.
Earlier this weekend (Friday) mum and dad celebrated their 105th birthday (mom turns 50, dad turned 55). They had hired Asker museum, invited 50 guests, and ordered enough cakes to keep us over-fed for 5 weeks. Then there were speeches. I mean close to 50 of them. On average that is drily dull. And dad + speehc = a long, boresome, sneaking death (Ari Behn go home!). Thankfully cousin Kristian was there, so we, along with cousin Erlen and my bro's, spent most of the time playing around instead of sitting at the table with the 'grown ups'. We're such dorks when we get together..!
Not that the ..party.. was that bad, but I am a restless person and do not like such formalities much. Having to endure hours of sitting gives me ants. I guess it's okay if you like wine and cake. And songs. And dry jokes.
8 hours of repeating the answers to why I chose to study in New Zealand, how long I have left, on which big scene/screen I will be seen within 10 years, how much I like it there etc.. are 8 long hours when you yourself only drink water and tea, and got tired of eating after the ice cake that melted during the speeches 5-13 anyway.
But hiss, yeah, it is only 2 weeks until I am going back to fulfill my Bachelor degree. Exiting! ...scary..! |

Oh no I just know I am going to be so pissed at myself..! As I made quite clear earlier, I utterly detest the new take on my favourite game dragon, Spyro. But when I found the latest game for a very neat price I couldn't help myself.
This is all because I lost my wonderful watch boohoo... Mum - once again - dragged me along to all the various stores here(Sandvika) and there(Asker). So now I have a new one Zing! I think it will grow on me. After this incident I felt like 'celebrating' so I went to buy some DVDs on sale. Out come I with not just Alice in Wonderland (it's the absurdity of it all.. and the Cheshire Cat o'course..love it!), Mulan (Mushu - another likeable dragon) and The Rescuers( 'Honesty, Loyalty, We pledge to Thee' ) but, oh no, I had found Spyro The Eternal Night for less than 200 NOK (ok, fine, it was 199)
I have to konw how it is. I am psyching myself up for long-time agony.. arg.. LONG LIVE THE ORIGINAL[for PlayStation..that first one] SPYRO GAMES! EVERY SPYRO GAME AFTER YEAR OF THE DRAGON IS RUBBASS SHITTY NOTHING!!!!!!
..*ahem* well clearly it still is a personal/heated issue..

Interresting. The Life Philosophy I have founded by/for myself ('Cloudism' and no it's not a new religion! but you are welcome to share my beliefs) has values similar to not only Buddhism but many other religions as well.
I don't really believe in religion, truth be bared
 |
Which is the right religion for you? (new version) created with QuizFarm.com |
| You scored as Buddhism You scored as Buddhism. Your beliefs most closely resemble those of Buddhism. Do more research on Buddhism and possibly
consider becoming Buddhist, if you are not already.
In Buddhism, there are Four Noble Truths: (1) Life is suffering. (2) All suffering is caused by ignorance of the nature of
reality and the craving, attachment, and grasping that result from such ignorance. (3) Suffering can be ended by overcoming
ignorance and attachment. (4) The path to the suppression of suffering is the Noble Eightfold Path, which consists of right
views, right intention, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right-mindedness, and right
contemplation. These eight are usually divided into three categories that base the Buddhist faith: morality, wisdom, and
samadhi, or concentration. In Buddhism, there is no hierarchy, nor caste system; the Buddha taught that one's spiritual worth
is not based on birth.
