To leave is never easy, perhaps it shouldn't be. but return is even harder.

I'm starting to research some keyboards.
What's a good brand or model you musical types would recommend for someone just wanting to reteach themselves piano and maybe tinker with some music. I saw some nice Casio refurbs for around 150.00 but I dunno what the best brand would be to go with.

Okay so we FINALLY get an episode with aliens on an alien planet and in the future.
( Yes she is his daughter )
Just a lot of thought. It sucked because the idea of Jenny tagging along did have some bit of "cool" to it.

Hello Eccentrik Festival Street Team!!!
Okay time for another update.
First off another band has been added to our line up: The Brides
"I have never seen anything like it. Nor heard any noise to approximate the ceaseless, frantic, hysterical scream which met THE BRIDES when they took the stage after what seemed like fifty years of earlier acts.
All very good, all making time, because no one had come for anything other than THE BRIDES...
Then the theatre went wild! First aid men and police-men in the stalls, women mainly in the balcony-taut and anxious, patrolled the aisles, one every three rows.
Many fainted. Thirty were gently carried out, soiled pants, protesting in their hysteria, forlorn and wretched in an unrequited love for three boys and a girl who might have lived next door.
The stalls were like a nightmare March Fair. No one could remain seated. Clutching each other, hurling jelly babies at the stage, beating their brows, the youth of the world surrendered themselves totally to THE BRIDES."
- Marianna Trench (from her book Fifty Years Adrift)

So the Sonotaran story line ends rather well. I think that this episode was one of those "Doctor in his finest" moments.
Mention that the Brigadier is still alive. The fact that UNIT used the Valiant then that "homespun" way they used to solve problems, and how Donna was able to pull through faced with a ship full of midget psysho warriors. The best bit of levity was when the Doctor put on a gas mask and said "Are you my mommy?". Could have done without that "blip" of Rose on the Tardis monitor though.
Best line of the episode: "You might was well be wearing a t-shirt that says clone on it. But probably not around Captain Jack."
And it looks like the Doctor has Martha, and Donna along with him on his next trip despite Martha's protests, and they end up being shanghai'd to some prison/military type planet to meet his Daughter (????). And after seeing the previews I'm tempted to call her Buffy the Timelord.

Really I think Russel T is just trying to live out some Joss Whedon fantasies at this point.

Moved into the new place. Just a few more odds and ends to move about but I'm 100% moved in. Still need to get the mail forwarded over but I Can do that tomorrow.
Exhausted as fuck. I'll be catching up LJ and the website and other stuff this weekend when I am not having to unpack and work ungodly hours.
All in all its not a bad lair. Not in the least.
Meh.

Today = BUSY!!!
It started early with me getting up around 9am, and eating. Then I dumped about 300.00 from my savings into my bank account and hit Silverdale. Ugh.
So about 3 hours of driving about here's what got done:
- Went to Target and got new curtains, shower curtain rod, vaccum cleaner, detergent, towels, washcloths, and the DVD collection of Firefly (cause
miftik done got me hooked good).
- Then jumped over to Home Depot for an area rug, staple gun, plastic sheeting, and a few other supplies.
- Hit up Radio Shack for about 100' of CAT 5
- Met Star at Wave Broadband office to change ownership of the internet account over to her and paid up their next bill cycle.
- Drove back to Der New House and unloaded most of my stuff.
- Hit up every porn store, Hot Topic, and Tattoo parlor to drop off Music Werks flyers.
- Slipped through staples and got new ink cartridges for my printer.
*collapses* Then there was D&D tonight which went surprisingly well, however the DM got tummy issues (after knowingly eating some pasta that didn't agree with him) and we finished around 9pm. It was at least a session where we finally got to roleplay and not just hack/slash.
Now I'm home. Just watched some Doctor Who, I talked to Patrice for a long while and am about to curl up with some Firefly before getting up tomorrow to clean, run the Cat 5, and finish organizing the new room since I officially move into the new place tuesday. Only about 2 weeks until Patrice visits again and I have to have that house ready for visitors.
Goodnight.

I've sucked with my Doctor Who reviews this season so far but this one was too good to wait on doing review for. ( Martha, Short Aliens, and killer GPS )
All in all its been a good run so far. I can't wait to see how this is going to end. Mostly because it looks like the Sonotarans are locked, cocked and perfectly ready.
