So there I was, kip, cast to handstand, giant, giant, full-twisting double back, when I abruptly realized that I was dismounting into a huge patch of aloe. My flesh began to bubble and ooze and soon all that was left were my sparkling white bones. Please send lip gloss asap.

In other news, ladybug218 and bellatemple are still on a break, perhaps indefinitely now due to bellatemple being devoured by a large carnivorous sea horse. Fortunately, we do believe it has internet access in its belly, but the question remains of how long she has before the stomach acids eat her laptop. not_from_stars was last seen running around with a draft horse.

You suck. You suck beyond the sucking of suckiness. Can we please see another slow motion replay of the poor girl falling off the beam? How about from the overhead angle? Complete with freeze frames and arrows? I didn't quite see the exact moment her heart broke.

Border guards turn away church group aiming to picket bus victim's funeral

Canadian border guards are under orders to prevent members of a fundamentalist American church from crossing into Canada to protest at the Saturday funeral for a Winnipeg man brutally killed on a Greyhound bus last week.

Westboro Baptist Church, a controversial Kansas-based sect, intends to picket the funeral of 22-year-old Tim McLean to tell Canadians his slaying on July 30 was God's response to Canadian policies enabling abortion, homosexuality and adultery.


These people are evil, vile, hateful whack-jobs who abuse freedom of speech and deliberately cause undue anguish to people who are already grieving. GO CANADA!

Morgan Freeman seriously hurt in car accident
Police say actor's car left Mississippi highway and flipped several times

Academy Award winning actor Morgan Freeman was seriously injured in a car accident in Mississippi on Sunday night according to the Mississippi Highway Patrol. Police report that Freeman, 71, was driving eastbound on Highway 32 near the town of Ruleville, Miss., around 11:30 p.m. when his car left the road and flipped several times.

Police say Freeman and a female passenger had to be extracted from the vehicle and the actor was flown to Regional Medical Center in Memphis, Tenn., where spokeswoman Kathy Stringer said he was listed in serious condition. There was no word on the condition of the passenger.

The hospital, commonly known as The Med, is an acute-care teaching facility that serves patients within 150 miles of Memphis.

Ashley Norris, manager of the Ground Zero Blues Club in Clarksdale, that is owned by Freeman, confirmed the actor was in a wreck. Norris said she had no other details.

TMZ.com is reporting that state troopers said "The Dark Knight" star was talking at the scene of the accident and that a friend of the actor's said Freeman was sitting up and talking at the hospital.
