Why does this always happen?
Somehow I turned off all my alarms and don't remember and I missed my nutrition lecture. Ugh, why does this happen?? Hopefully someone will let me borrow their notes or something.

Hmm...
Well this sucks. I'll probably be studying tomorrow afternoon, but I don't know what to do after that. My friends are probably going to be either working or busy, my sister's in Sacramento, my mom's going to a graduation party, and my dad's going to be in Vegas (I don't know why either. Maybe United's having another sexy party). Urgh, lame. |

Another pointless post.
So I got my psych midterm back... a C. Which is actually infinitely better than I thought I did, considering I didn't study at all. That's fine though, since I missed lecture right before the test, I never got the study guide. I'll just have to ace the next midterm. She drops the lower score anyway. I swear, I don't know the plans for Thanksgiving anymore. By the way, we learned that Dubai isn't an option for several reasons: (1) it's butt-expensive (2) we're not even sure if flights to Dubai are really going to fall through and (3) if they did, it's very time-pressing because said flights would only be departing from Washington Dulles. Then after a bit of mulling it over, we decided on either Singapore or Taipei, which was pretty much the decision for like a month and a half. Now my dad's telling me to look at hotels in Osaka. I don't know what's going on, but I'll be doing my research anyway. So random question: is anyone on my friends list vegetarian? To any extent, whether you just don't eat red meat anymore, or if you don't eat meat, fish, or any animal products? Were you raised like that or did you make the decision when you were older? Or for all the omnivores, have you ever tried a vegetarian diet? What's it like? Does someone want to tell me why I'm watching Pocahontas right now?

MY SOJU
This is so racist, but it's great. Really like Colbert's Singin' in Korean. It'll get stuck in your head, guaranteed.

Grr.
Solano County people need to learn how to drive. Aside from that, I have no art class this week, so my class ended at 11 today, and same deal with Thursday. Sweet. (Though likely I'll be spending that free 1 and a half hour studying. It continually saddens me that Barnes and Noble Starbucks has discontinued the chicken focaccia sandwich. ... And still no word back for any job offerings or from Sutter. I'd go to Kaiser, but for the life of me, I can't figure out which way is which in that hospital.

Who's that loser in the blue Yaris?
Sonic finally opened, and I was super excited. I've seen all the commercials on TV and wanted to get in on it. So I drove along and followed the really super long line. By the time I got up there, I realized that I was actually in the drive-in lane, not the drive-thru lane. That and I realized that I actually don't have much cash on me. So I pulled out of the line and passed by a Filipino Sonic worker who was mugging me. Whatever; you shall have my patronage soon. Will you still be mugging then, jerk? On other fast food notes, I have been drinking a lot of McDonald's sweet tea recently; at least two a week or so. Nutrition diet calculations are due on Thursday and I still haven't gotten started. I think a part of me is scared to do them because then I'll really see how crappy my diet is, haha. EDIT: I've just done one day and already it's looking bad! |

In preparation for the new bed
I'm finally doing a mass purging/organization of my room. So much clutter. |

Another pointless post
I think I have allergies or something, which is way weird because we're well past spring. But I've been sneezing up a storm for the past week or so. My brain feels swollen right now. Ughhhh. But yay, weekend. You guys have plans for the weekend? |

Writer's Block: Over-the-Top Metaphors
Second post of the day, woo-hoo! Really, I'm just waiting for my laundry to finish washing that way I can just put it in the dryer and go to sleep.
The sun blurred and distorted as she sank lower and lower into the abyss. Her pathetic attempts at moving were useless; her arms felt like lead weights, bringing her down, down. She pondered how it all ended up like this, why it had to be this way, and found that she was just as bitter about her own life as an old hag four times her age. The darkness was slowly creeping in, and her eyes began to adjust to the slowly-creeping light, much like the eyes adjust to the shadows when one has turned out the lights and is lying down for sleep. Her form relaxed, she exhaled. Her hearing was blocked, as if cotton had been stuck in her ear canals. And suddenly she remembered his face, so kind and gentle and so full of love, like the brightest ray of light on a sunny day, and she opened her eyes once more and pushed herself upwards, toward the sun, towards life, and broke through the surface, gasping for air in an experience so invigorating like her very first breath as a newborn baby. |

Voice Post
And I forgot to mention this, but I was hypnotized in front of my entire psychology class. This other student and I were called up to take part in a hypnosis experiment, which was... interesting. |
