Clever Sleazoid review [// 18 . 09 . 05 ] [ mood | weird ] [ music | Clever Sleazoid - Dir en grey ] This song is a cacophony. The guitar and Kyo really obscure each other so you can't hear either one too clearly. Kyo's not really singing as much as he's yelling or whispering, which got tired a long time ago. Shinya isn't worked at all in this song. Which, I don't blame him for. Toshiya gets no work. Die and Kaoru's technique are wasted on repititive guitar lines. In all honesty, I blame Kyo for churning out this single. Am I the only one tired of them turning out 3 minute singles? One thing that I'll say though; The chorus is something I really like, as well as the part of the song that actually has a melody. The part of the song with the melody has a unique guitar line and Kyo is actually singing. Then he starts moaning and it goes to hell. I'm sorry, but one OBSCURE is enough. Even though I REALLY want to support Diru, I found a quote I really like; "Dir en grey has hammered the last nail into the coffin of their musical career". 2/10. Simply because I like the chorus. And the lives on here suck. Kyo doesn't even try. *stabs him* O_O LATER EDIT: To those of you SILLY people who bought Clever Sleazoid, I'm sry LOlz. WAY TO GO FOR ALL MY FAVORITE MEMBERS LEAVING! :D damn i really liked tara and takumi ._. but i can see why, panic channel doesn't seem like one of those acts that will ever be extremely popular SCISSOR, my babies, are releasing a single called FLY on October 26th. Maybe it has something to do with Reeno's dumbass leaving? Wednesday 13 is touring with Merry and Dir en grey; Merry will be their guest on September 28th and 29th, at the Osaka Club Quattro and the Tokyo UNIT. On October 2nd they will perform at the Yokohama Blitz, as the support act for Dir en grey. On September 1st, Yura and Lida (of Psycho le Cemu) will be starting a new group: Dacco. To be continued... And I've got to say that it is horrible. I'm all for screaming, hell, I even consider Saku to be a GOOD single, but this song is absolutely horrible. After listening to the new clip, I was hoping that the song would go back to the part on the old clip as fast as possible. The song consists of Kyo screaming, and the guitar work is so basic it's vomit inducing. I listened to it before taking my dog outside. I came back inside hoping that the garbage (haha, no pun intended) I listened to it and hoped it was just my imagination. I was wrong. Later Edit: Okay, the clip is starting to grow on me.
