And still on the subject of Gossip Girl, and the fandom in general... what is with all the nasty bickering between Blair fans and Serena fans? Seriously, I don't get it, they are BFFs, why the catty? And also, what the hell is up with the comments about Blake looking like a tranny? She is beautiful, fucking gorgeous, so is Leighton, I mean, come on, why does it have to be my girl is shinier than your girl? They're BOTH shiny, jeez. Also, hating on Chace is irksome, and all the BS that he's getting all the attention, he's not, he and Ed get a lot of attention, yes, but pretty sure Penn isn't being a pissy bitch about that, guess it just irks that people want the same kind of drama with the cast as the characters, it's lame. I love that they like eachother and hang out outside of work. Again, just shows all fandom has wank, every last one.

I'm tired, and got a touch of whatever mom has, so I am off tuesday, Hailey took my shift, and I'm off wednesday too, I plan to recharge and enjoy mom being away come wednesday.

Gossip Girl 1.15 Desperately Seeking Serena

Damn I can ramble about this show... I ♥ it so.

I'm sleepy, work was painfully slow but I'm still exhausted, still having weird residual issues from the bloody latex, which my boss doesn't seem to comprehend, the fact. Blah.

I've rambled enough, I'm going to bed. Nighty.

First of all, I'm fine, but I'm not okay, I probably wont be for awhile, but that's life and I'm rolling with it to the best of my abilities. Highlight of the last 24 hours, watching Gossip Girl with my A, honest to goodness good times, good to have her back in my life, I'm not me without her.

Aaaand I have a new layout... yes, AGAIN. Serena/Nate and forgive the blurry and such, really obnoxiously bad scan that Courtney had to help me smooth out the pixel insanity, but I was dying to use it since seeing the wee scans the other night, sooo, yeah, OTP baby. Also I did a full icon flush, so hope to have icons back up and such soonish.

I watched a really shitty movie called Loaded yesterday because my darling Chace was in it, it traumatized me and made me hate the Haitian from Heroes for hurting the pretty. *frown* Movie was fail, but Chace was gorgeous and sweet and playing the role I knew would make him the lamb for the slaughter in a movie about drug dealers and revenge. *sighs* I really hope the next flick is less predictable and lame. As for now, I can't wait till April 21 and new episodes of Gossip Girl. *wiggle*

GOSSIP GIRL RENEWED FOR SEASON 2!!
It is my big thing right now, and I needed some happy today, like seriously. Also HIGHLY squee worthy is the renewal of Supernatural, I had been worried about that with rumors of a three season run being set in stone or some such nonsense.
*breathes*

I went! All by my lonesome I went, and I had to deal with getting to Redlands and realizing I didn't have my ID (needed to pick up tickets), went back home couldn't find it, found expired license, grabbed it, went to Kinkos to print the confirmation email, compy would not take my credit card, I wibbled at the clerk and they let me use their employee card to gain access and charged me like a buck to print needed items (net is 20 cents a minute) I got going at around 6 after all the drama, made it there by 7:15, got a great parking spot literally 4 parking spaces from the main curbed walkway into Downtown Disney, skittered over to the House of Blues and picked up my tickets easy peasy, and got in line. Got in about 7:30 made my way down stairs to the right side of the stage area over by the bar and took my spot and waited.

Opening act was a very talented lad by the name of Chris Stills, he is the son of Crosby, Stills and Nash's Stephen Stills and the man can play a guitar and damn he can entertain, CD coming out soon, in the meantime, check out his MySpace, he's made of win, seriously. He played about 5 songs, all of which I enjoyed and damn was I in awe of his guitar skills.

There was about a five minute break after Chris' set and I was just calling home to let mom know I made it there in one piece when the lights went off, I was expecting Paula Cole, since she was supposed to be opening and instead, there was Miss Mandy Moore like 16ft away looking even prettier than she does in photographs, the woman is just the most beautiful woman I have ever seen in my entire life, beauty radiating from the inside out, she's just... yeah, she's AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL. She opened with Slumming in Paradise which is a up tempo song and a good opener, next was All Good Things, her voice was perfect, totally live, no canned music, just real live singing and it was awesome.

The place was packed and hot, seriously hot and stuffy and there was Mandy in a gray sweater dress, very sort of 60's styled, black hose and cute black heels, she danced like a dork, made adorkable goofy faces, laughed at herself and just looked so in her element up on stage, you can tell she is loving the tour so far. She mentioned that the band made it a thing for her to drink a beer on stage at every show to show this is a proper rock tour, she had a sip from a beer bottle and quickly returned to her little silver mug of green tea giving the beer to one of the band members. She did a few more songs off Wild Hope which a lot of people didn't seem to be singing along with, I was though, I know that album back and forth, I love it so. Random lady next to me had a milk crate she brought to stand on, she gave it to me since she said I was obviously a major fan knowing all the lyrics, that was pretty cool, she also gave me a shot from the bar, it was really good, she was odd yet funny, prolly my mom's age, brought her daughter and 5 of her friends, nice lady.

Anywho, Mandy did Moonshadow which was made of so much win, damn the girl can sing. Then she sang The Nothing You Are and made comment how it's her angriest song, which yeah, seriously, but it is damn good, she did Wild Hope, Looking Forward to Looking Back, Can't You Just Adore Her and Extraordinary and then she killed me with Gardenia which is my favorite song anyway, but I kind of breakdown into tears when she cries when singing it, which she did, says she always does and that it's a very personal song for her, it's a great song. She followed it with the cover of Rhianna's Umbrella which was... fucking amazing, she makes the song have depth and emotion and it's just... AMAZING. Final song, cause she was "feeling the love" was Candy, which she mocked and said she needed audience assistance to remember the words, then refused to do the bridge, she actually said "I refuse to do this part, absolutely refuse" then finished it off and that was it, she thanked everyone and reminded all to check out Chris Stills, pointing him out where he'd joined the crowd on the floor and that was that. I asked security if that was all of Mandy and they said yeah, so I decided to head home rather than stand around for Paula Cole, I like her, but beating the traffic was nice.

So yeah, I did it! *prouds* And most awesome of all I didn't get lost, and I have a terrible sense of direction, so yay me. Oooh and Matt text'd me from work, making sure I went *loves Matt* So it was good and amazing and I would do it again, even alone, Mandy was SO worth it, she is made of all good things, I seriously LOVE the girl.

More rambling tomorrow about Mandy and how this whole experience and she have inspired me toward more positive things, but now, bed. *nods*
