We have a consistent host of animals in our front yard.

A bunny named Randy
Two turtles one named Crabman, the friendly one, and one named Earl, the unfriendly one.

We have two Mallards that come every winter but I forgot their names.

A hawk that sits on the fence and tries to eat Randy - as of yet unnamed. (taking evil suggestions)

Today we purchased three Koi and two bags of smaller goldfish.

Columbo, Monk and Quincy.

While the bags were floating, Crabman tried to eat the big ones :O we were hoping they'd be too big for him. So we loaded him down with Koi food before we released them hoping he'd be too full and they'd at least live one glorious day in a giant pond!

It was a colossal waste of our limited funds but it felt damn good and fun. Oh and we named the 40 other tiny fish too on the drive home. They were along this vein.

See that part on the left of my house that's just shorter than the middle. That's a deck and REALLY high up. Now the entire back of the house looks like that angled brown area you see just under the chimney.

We have a ladder that makes it that deck with only a ft. to spare at the top with it layed out and leaned against the angled wall of tiled. Vince and I had to use it today to board up the glass door on the deck.

We had to bring supplies down and since it's a DAMN miracle my scary butt climbs that thing at all I wasn't about to go climbing it holding supplies.

So vince goes about 3/4 of the way up so I can hand him supplies, and well I handed him a box of wood screws with the open end down. He was showered with about 200 screws. They clanked off the metal tiles, they clanked off the metal ladder and without a clanky noise bounced off Vince.

It was hilarious and well worth the 15 minutes I had to spend later picking them all up.

I had to type my maiden name in today for a website and I was like wow a last name that ends in a -y feels really foreign to me all the sudden. I used to LOVE LOVE LOVE that my last name ending in y and made a great big swoop at the end. Now it seems stupid as my current last name I just trail off into a bunch of up and down strokes and call it a day.

Only took 4 years.

I'm trying to reset my internal clock.  So I'm trying to stay up as long as I can and go to bed when I normally wake up (5-6pm)

So if you have facebook play scrabulous with me.  or comment or find me on msn please..... HELP!

p.s.  I'm done with Snowcrash and I have to say is WTF?!  I was reading and turned the page and it was over like mid ending or something.  It was like he was writing one of those 500 word essays and got the word 500 and was like oh crap STOP.  Otherwise a nice read.

A friend of mine wanted to show me a picture and it was on facebook, so I signed up for facebook.

I have no idea what this thing is doing it's on autopilot.  I think I may have invited my entire contact book of hotmail to join face book, sent them ecards and bought then all Fords.  I dunno!

.. I know releasing balloons into the air hurts animals. So move on if you think I didn't know.

Last Saturday we had a memorial on the beach for Vince's brother.  At the exactly time he died a year before; Vince's mom read a message she wrote on the balloon and then released it.  The weather was gorgeous and the moon looked like it was smiling down on us.

I've invited my wow-friends/ladies to make there way to LJ-land.

I hope they like it.

I may be playing less wow but I think this LJ habit is here to stay as long as the website does.
