	Wasn't it nice while Our Fearless Leader was on vacation? Iranians were all grateful to us and stuff for helping out after the earthquake, and Powell was talking about engaging with them, and, well, we can't have that, right? Happy New Year from George W. Bush. Sorry tens of thousands of you died. We still don't like you, and we wanted you to hear about it. Threat levels? What threat levels? Government by neoconservative dickwaving goes on at literally the very first opportunity. President Bush says U.S. humanitarian assistance to Iranian quake victims doesn't signify an easing of relations with Tehran, and he demanded the Islamic nation's leaders hand over captured al Qaeda operatives and "abandon their nuclear weapons program." Bush's Thursday comments about Iran's nuclear program are some of the toughest from the president since Tehran signed an additional nuclear protocol last month to allow U.N. inspectors greater access to Iranian sites... Remember when diplomacy took place between diplomats?

We had that one brief shining moment when the Iranians' refusal to accept any help from the perfidious Zionists made us seem less morally repugnant. Didn't last, did it?

I'm gonna be so goddamned smug after we kick that sorry son of a bitch out of the White House that somebody will probably come up and deck me on general principles.

My Christmas list for next year includes having Bush's successor decide that the grand tradition of not prosecuting the previous administration for its multitude of crimes needs to be retired, resulting in George W. Bush getting his cowboy boots sued off.

Ultimately, he becomes an underpaid office temp. Also, he goes to jail. I can't decide which I like better, so I want them both.
