Fall is really here. It's sweater/jeans weather, pumpkin has been carved, had my gourmet grilled cheese party, made and wore a crafty costume, and am listening to my spooky mix from last year over and over again. I love fall.

I heard Arcade Fire was coming to Randall Island in October so I got tix for R and I and then they added a bunch of bands to this outdoor show!

I am not a big Rilo Kiley fan. Brooklyn Vegan gave their new album such a poor (and funny) review it was like when someone says "ew" and you have to look at what they are talking about... boy was BV right. It's kind of trying to be a lounge Feist and ends up as elevator music.

Enrique Iglesias is downstairs.
I saw the paparazzi hovering on my way into the office and now the screams of fans are coming from the street.
I have a desk by the window which at home would mean seeing trees perhaps a squirrel... here in NY.... the fans of anyone who is doing a release and signing at FYE.

I just got back from the Jersey Shore last night. It was good to get out of the city and I'm really feeling a lot better now... time to get back to work and get ready for my team offsite in the Hamptons next week!

Yesterday I had a rough subway day. Too many people plus a crazy lady telling me "TOO CLOSE! TOOCLOSE! STEP ON TOE! OW! OW!"
Luckily, Elly turned me around from my i-can't-stand-ny attitude with the Grand Central Station Oyster Bar Herring Festival :)

R just left after a great weekend in NY. Long distance is no picnic but I think we're doing pretty well :) We spent some time in the new apartment and picked out a brand new bed together so it's starting to feel like our home.
R got to swing by my office this morning and guess who we saw in our lobby....
also... saturday lunch at burgers & cupcakes was excellent :)

My application was approved for the place in Park Slope! I love this neighborhood and it's a straight shot on the B line to my office in Midtown! I can start moving in after the 15th! Woo hoo!
