Oh, Help!

So a while back, I posted here wondering if anyone who had done NaNo was going to be at WorldCon, and would want to be on a panel about NaNoWriMo.

Today (not much more than a week before the convention), I learned that I'm not just ON the panel, I'm MODERATING THE PANEL.

Er.

Um.

Okay, so if y'all were watching people talk about NaNoWriMo, what sorts of things would you like to see them discuss?  What questions would you ask them?

Help!

(Thanks!)

New to community...feel free to add!

Hi, I'm new to this community. I currently hit the 30K mark yesterday and I'm trying to achieve 50K words by the beginning of next month.

About me:

Age: 25

Story genre: Vampire fantasy

WC: 30K

I have a few questions...

Does anyone else keep journals?

Does anyone else make maps for their fantasy stories?

If so, how do you make the maps? I just draw mine by pencil and paper.

Is anyone else into the same genre as me?

If anyone is into the same genre, I would like to share ideas and inspire each other as writers. It is very hard to find people interested in darker genre's.

My style:

I write very unconventional and often irritate people because of this method. I tend to write everything OUT of order and write what I feel inspired to write about at that moment. For example, I may prefer an execution scene over a love scene...it's really just depending on my mood for the day.

My rule is to not burn yourself out by doing everything from beginning to end- if you know a good editor that is! (Luckily, my husband happens to be a good editor. )

Does anyone else live on coffee and energy drinks? I have recently discovered latte rockstars as my new bane of my existance. I'm seriously addicted, since they can keep me up and writing until 6 a.m! Right now, I am currently making coffee at 2 a.m.

Are there any other late night writer's out there?

I'm trying to get at least 2-5K words written a day. That way, I know I am up to par on my writing.

I hope I'm not breaking any rules. I don't think I am... I am asking a favour.

Since you guys are NaNoWriMo writers, I felt a number of you might understand. I apologize in advance that this is copy pasted from my other blog, but it's six in the morning, please do not take offense. This is basically just something I'm asking for... I do not expect anyone to answer, but I hope you will. It's something to help motivate me through November and keep me feeling enthusiastic... and to get me to get to work on the planning.

Thanks for your time... and if I'm breaking anything, (rules), somebody tell me.

I would like to get together a group of OKC area LJers who write who could get together on a regular basis and support each other in our writing.  Does anyone here know of anything like that or would be interested in anything like that?
