Friends Locked!

Things I Like:

Briefly? All forms of fiction, making soundtracks and laughing.

But specifics are more fun, so: hot chocolate + pajamas + tv; all those times that Chuck and Sarah will order takeout and spend the evening on the couch; daydreaming; when Mulder invades Scully's personal space; Keira Knightley; ...right now we are here, and nothing can mar our perfection, or steal the joy of this perfect moment; Ben Covington in his Dean and Deluca t-shirt; music that feels like roller coasters and diving off the highest diving board; banter, particularly of the Booth&Bones variety; boys with rolled-up sleeves; books; when Addison Montgomery is a dork; chocolate; Sara and Michael getting drunk at the office Christmas part; awesome tv casts; Bryan Fuller`s imagination; penny candies; happy endings; the Alias pilot; making cookies; anthropologie catalogs; overanalyzing; jumping in puddles; being outside; epicness; tv that gives you chills; flashforwards; when Logan is drunk; time travel; kickass female characters.

Woooouuuld we call her chubby?
There are many good things about December: friends, family, giving and receiving presents, having an excuse to drink hot chocolate and hide under my duvet with a good book, and etc. But one of my favourites? It's Love Actually month!

when a telephone was a tin can on a string and I fell asleep with you still talking to me
First of all, a big Happy Birthday to [info]bliccy! I hope you have a wonderful, relaxing weekend away, Nicole!

How come I always find things like this internship and then do absolutely nothing about it because I'm too frigging scared? I keep saying that I want to go on an adventure. Well this, self, would be one. Anyone have any advice for doing things that scare (but also excite!) you?

i wanna hurry home to you
So there's this show that I used to watch, that I used to love. It made me laugh and cry and grin and feel giddy and feel like someone had just kicked me in the stomach (sometimes all at the same time, which is actually possible when it comes to this show). We had some really good times during season 1, and some amazing times during season 2, but now I think it's time to officially say goodbye. Thank You, Prison Break, for the amazingness that was Michael and Sara, and for the wonderful people I met because of you. Sometimes I get kind of frantic on Monday nights now, knowing that Michael Scofield is still running around trying to piece his life back together - or just stay alive - and that I'm choosing not to watch it all unfold. But I know I wouldn't be able to bear watching him try to even begin to process what we all knew was coming. In favour of a happy ending, I'm cutting my ties now.

Title: All We’ll Leave Behind and All That’s Left (Or: Twenty-five Little-Known Facts about Michael Scofield)

Pairing: Michael/Sara

Summary: This is where I have always been coming to. Since my time began. And when I go away from here, this will be the mid-point, to which everything ran, before, and from which everything will run. -A.S. Byatt

Note: This is AU starting somewhere toward the middle/end of 2.22, but contains hints to things that happened as far back as season one, and in one case before these two ever met. This was supposed to be Fifty Facts, but a) it's really difficult to come up with that many, and b) I kind of like leaving some things open for you to imagine however you'd like.

Oh, and: Many, many thanks to [info]captaincatapult who has already seen a lot of this, and who has fueled a lot of this, and who was just amazingly fun to talk to about these two when we both should have been doing homework. This isn't That Epic Fic We Talked About, but sometimes I still think about those ideas and how fun and interesting and complex that would have been to actually write. But, my point(!): Anna, I really really wish we could have gotten the loft and white sheets and Gracie and grinning and firm parties and Obnoxious Dave and Drunk Scofields on the show. Hopefully something else will come along with people who make each other as full and deliriously happy as these two do.

Suggested Soundtrack: Zero 7's Somersault, The National's Slow Show, The Weepies's Simple Life, Sunset Rubdown's Shut Up I Am Dreaming of Places Where Lovers Have Wings, The Features's The Idea of Growing Old, Interpol's The New, and The Innocence Mission's Happy, The End, among many others.
