| 6:52 pm | What this is. This is mostly a place where I ramble, rant, and rave. Main Topics will be : Fighting Games(mostly SNK, some other stuff), Comics(mostly DC B-list comics), Anime (mostly the artsy-type anime), Politics (I lean centrist), and Economics/Weather (career fields) Friending: Open. I will FL posts and filter posts for privacy purposes or if someone doesn't need to know certain things. This is only about 5% of my posts. If I Friended you: I found you interesting for some reason. I usually just fire away on the comments. Things that will make me get rid of you: Very little. The Equine Forecaster Story: Nickname I got in the military. Came from when Commander heard me discuss the forecast in terms of barnyard animals, and went crazy, until it was explained to him why I was doing it. One animal in particular was a donkey- so that's where the equine comes from. Forecaster comes from my military job- which was a weather forecaster. Enjoy! I needed to do one of these splashes. Wish I had some art to go with it, but I can't draw. I'm envious of those that can. |

| 3:05 pm | 14000% tax increase http://www.crainsdetroit.com/article/20 This is what happened to one of my favorite game companies, and they may have to move due to this. Crazy stuff. This is why I prefer low business taxes and higher income taxes. Low business taxes encourage investment which lead to monetary velocity, whereas higher income taxes can go towards wealth redistribution, which if done right, also increases monetary velocity. There's also a net social benefit increase when income inequality is reduced. |

| 2:52 pm | Out of commission My quest to get SCIV early ended today. Basically, I knew of 6 independent game shops in the area about a year ago. All 6 are gone. There's 8 Gamestops though. Something is WRONG with that picture. Kind of a shame too, as the game is getting pretty good reviews outside of the atrocious online play. Reviews that are actually bringing players back the same way SF4 will do. (One example: me. I wouldn't touch 3S or A3 with a ten-foot pole, but I am interested in 4) |

| 9:14 pm | I really hope... Those reports of SC4's netcode on the PS3 AND 360 being horrible aren't true. Why couldn't Namco get AM2's awesome netcode? Other reports say the same should be no worse then decent no matter what though, so that's a good sign. |

| 11:01 am | It's nice when the biggest thing you can complain about your work is that they aren't showing enough weird sports on the TV. If I had more work hours life would be wonderful. To think thanks to Sen.Webb's stupid legislation I may end up going to school just to earn enough money to wait for a job like this to become a career. |

| 8:16 pm | One thing about KOF98UM It really makes me feel other SNK fighters are inferior to it. If they offered an XBLA port of KOF98UM, I'd probably never play on 2df again. I've pretty much already given up on GGPO. The fact my favorite character is no longer bottom tier also helps. |

| 12:04 am | This is going to be an ultimate nostalgia month for me What is old is new again, and in the good way. Anime-wise- You gotta love dat Slayers coming back. Then at the end of the month, a new Soul Calibur. SC is one of the few fighters I legitimately fanboy over. Pretty much it's that,Samsho, and Fatal Fury in terms of games I fanboy over (I don't fanboy over KOF) About the only thing to bring the late 90s back for me would be for music to suck less, but still somewhat suck, and a presidential sex scandal. ^_^ |

| 9:50 pm | Best fireworks of my life I almost thought I was a complete idiot, getting fireworks confused for lightning and thunder, and putting a thunderstorm out as the ob. The fireworks coming from another direction proved I was not. |
