Say what you will about tobacco companies they give out some nice free stuff. I just got some pretty darn decent battery powered speakers from Kool. I almost wish I smoked with all the coupons they send me I'd be saving a bundle.
Tomorrow is Mom's surgery. I feel like I should be more nervous but I'm not. There's too much information that won't be known until tomorrow. |

So i was watching some Zero Punct and I see a thread saying "Watchmen Trailer" it's only natural that I head over to Apple trailer page and what do I see? Disaster Movie. Who keeps giving Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer money? Seriously the movies are just horrible. Once the Wayans Bros cut loose after SM2 everything they touch is trash. Even though I admit I liked 45-50% of Date Movie it was still a horrible movie. Maybe I liked it because it was the most on topic.
Taking aim at everything and everyone, from "Indiana Jones" and "Iron Man" to Amy Winehouse and “High School Musical,” Know what they don't have in the list of their topics they 'parody'? Disaster Movies. I see a Ron Pearlman clone and a Kung Fu Panda on the poster. I think I see a pregnant girl which means three movie movies which aren't even disaster movies. I refuse to even watch the trailer. *shake*

also forgot to mention King of Kong. I've heard it was great and still I was surprised. I guess the best aspect is how they manage to keep from getting too deep into game specific lore. That's the sort of thing I was expecting but it would alienate non-gamers. My sister started watching half-way thru and she was hooked as well. If I get the chance I will buy this movie. High Recommend. |

While I was away at my Mom's keeping her spirits up, I did get to make some purchases. I got my copy of Nights price matched so that is no officially in the collection for $9. SingStar was 70% off and for $12 it's worth it for the microphones alone in my opinion. The fact that the game is fun is just.. well that's just super. I never thought 30 songs would be light but I only know about 7 of them. I just picked up a Disney Meteos for $7. You can't pass that up for $7 that's a bloody steal. Everything I've read says it's just as good as the original and then better. With Meteos came Guitar Hero II. Again you can't walk past GHII for $20. Eventually I'll get a guitar. Eventually. |

I've been pretty much away from the internet for about 2 weeks. it's strange. I have such a backlog of stuff. The only thing I've been current on is my podcasts. Oh well not like anyone would notice. I'm like a ninja on the internet I'm pretty much everywhere but noone sees me.
Oh yeah I forgot the reason I was making this post. Recently I was up late. This is never good because I'm not at home I don't have my Gamecube. I'm playing Tales of Phantasia (GBA) at the moment and I can only play that for so long. 5-6 hours a day at most. So all that's left is TV. Once you pass that 1 o clock mark TV makes you feel worthless. As soon as that ExtenZe commercial comes on I just feel.. bad. Almost as bad as the girls gone wild. GGW is actually worse. When you see the commercial it starts out like something you'd like. Drunk and hot girls. Then they start undressing and your self-worth just plummets. It just makes you feel like slime. Like someone over at programming is looking at you shaking their head wondering why you're even awake watching this trash. |

PhotoRec is awesome. I wasn't really worried about my pictures but it's a bloody headache trying to find something free that isn't a trial to recover. I'm still depressed about losing that site in my memory but I'm gonna make some headway into Tales of Phantasia maybe I'll even try again on Prince of Persia. PoP3 should be on it's way from YesAsia as of yesterday so hecky yeah. |

I had a website. I used this website to download albums. Because of whatever bloody firewall they use here I have to do everything direct download style. No matter I found a good site loaded with banners but I found the path thru them to the gems I wanted beneath. I stopped using it because I had 40-50 gigs of music on this computer already I had to get into iTunes so I could organize. Now that I finally finished I'm reading to go back and I can't bloody remember the name of the site. How on earth did I forget to bloody bookmark a site so essential. I didn't want to bother with my real e-mail in case it proved too troublesome so I signed up creating a bugmenot account so I know the login (bugmenot:bugmenot) but it's bloody useless w/o the site. I even went into my google search history but I never actually googled it so while it was interesting going thru two years of my search history which by the way I hope noone else sees it was ultimately unsuccessful in locating the information I sought. I'm sure if I sat down and thought I could figure it out but I keep getting interference with www.MaxAlbums.com which is a similar site but one that doesn't work. ARRG. |

Finally. The PuzzleQuest is over. I finally defeated the final Boss Bane. Talk about a boss that's cheesy. I guess there's really not a lot of room for variation but the boss has spells he can use pretty much constantly. He has a large amount of life, and his skills take huge leaps every time he casts a spell. The first round pretty every time I tried he takes at least 6 turns before I move. .. Whatever it's over. I can move on. I'm on the final week of The World Ends With You. I should finish that and maybe move on to a GBA game. Maybe I'll even open my GBA. It's just sitting there with Super Mario World just waiting to be played. Plus I just bought Spyro: Eternal Night probably the last great GBA game. I should probably play New Beginning :gba: first.

I'm at my moms and she's making me go thru boxes and trash some stuff. I found some gum I had when I was a kid. This is gum packaged as a bandage. judging from the rest of the items in the box I'd say this gum is from about 1994. Now I'm faced with a decision. Since tomatoes are so poisonous nowadays should I eat this gum? I don't like to throw away perfectly good gum, but I haven't opened the tin to see if it's still good. I'll have to make a decision tomorrow. |

I am finally done. Every mp3 in my computer is loaded into iTunes. I can finally begin to organize and remove the duplicates. This is a glorious day. Soon I'll be able to truly assess how much of my harddrive is free space. I need to burn off some videos anyway. Maybe I'll take some time out this weekend and do that. I was listening to an earlier show on NPR where they discussed Grand Theft Auto IV with Adam Sessler and had Jack Thompson on air as well. People get all up in arms about various aspects of video games and in truth I suppose I would be all for legislation to control the sale of violent or overly sexual video games, but I wouldn't accept it unless it also covered video as well. There's no point in crying foul over GTA when movies like Hostel and Turistas just sit there on the shelf with everything else. Noone would think that is sensible and this is why gaming legislation is idiotic.
This discussion 's a great listen because it restores my faith in media. Gamers as a whole suffer from what I like to call the Nintendo effect. Last generation the only system I owned was the Nintendo Gamecube. Which is all fine and well it's a hugely underrated game system but it's not something I admitted constantly because people tease you about playing games for 3 year olds. You can only take so much of that before it changes you into something that strikes first and sometimes for no reason. This is exactly what happens to Adam Sessler. He's so used to 'interviews' where Jack Thompson gets to have his say and no matter how stupid it is noone is willing to listen to him. This is what happened to gamers when Barrack Obama said something about how he wanted to get kids outsides and 'off video games'. Noone noticed he wasn't singling out video games unlike everyone else he said he wanted to get kids off the TV and such as well. He wasn't targeting video games. He was targeting lazy. |

Sometimes people are stupid. I don't know how you expect anyone to take you seriously when you post an ad in all capital letters but there it is. I sent them a reply telling them they were stupid and they responded. I haven't read the response because then I'm not sure I'd be able to resist the inevitable flame war. Since I don't care about the job or the ad there's really no point in spending the amount of energy I've already used on this.
Among the many plans I would have for my rap album. I'd have to invent my own type of slang. Something catchy. I'm not sure if it'll be something usable or unusable. will it be something like 'jiggy' and 'bling bling' or more like 'thicky thicky thick girl'. First I'd head back to the bay and stay with my sister for a few months. I'd have to hunt down E-40 and tell him all about his first show and my sister who hosted it. He'd be suitably impressed that we're linked and what not. I'd teach him my slang give him a few months to use it and then record. It would be my 2nd or 3rd single.
Edit: I really didn't expect to be rewarded like this.
Well maybe if someone who passed the third grade would probably be able to read it, you think!!!!!!!!

Whoever decided to close a major bridge in the middle of downtown Atlanta for a year would be a very very close silver. Seriously we don't have enough problems with traffic here? First place of course goes to everyone in the Square Marketing dept who was around during the horrible advertising campaign that was FFVII.

They don't make the songs like they used to anymore. I could jam to Tony Rebel all day bro.
I don't like being called a baby/fussy by my little sister. not because she's younger than me but because this is the same girl who days earlier took the laptop from me while I was watching the office. Literally while I was watching it. At 2 in the morning having a fit because she 'needs it to sleep'. Then proceeded to stay up till .. maybe 4? and then sleep in till I woke her at 11:30. The same girl who yelled at me for not closing the doors when she turned on the AC and then the next day yelled at me for turning on the AC (which I didn't) and then not closing the doors. This is my same sister who while I'm in the basement reading a book demands that she be allowed to turn of the light so she can 'get rid of the bugs in the house'. Nevermind the fact that there are barely any flying insects in the house. I'm quite sure there were none and if there were any none were in the basement. My counter-proposal of simply closing the door and leaving me with the light that I'm currently using to read was unexplainable rejected.
I really need to finish "The World Ends With You". I haven't enjoyed an RPG this thoroughly i a while. It's so much fun and I don't want to miss anything nevermind that I can go back and apparently do it again I just get caught up doing stuff. One of the things I miss when I play this game is instruction manuals. Remember when manuals explain the game? It's be a lot nicer if the manual explained how things worked and left item specific knowledge up the game. For instance the booklet explains how to control Shiki your partner. It also explains how to control Joshua and Beat your other partners. I consider that minor spoilerish. Since the release of the concept I've wondered what would happen after the 7th day and boom that's spoiled. In game however I've only just learned that pins get three different types of experience (nothing yet on what they are or how/if you can tell what a pin needs) and about 'blue noise'. These are the kinds of things I'd expect to be in the booklet. Even if you don't see blue noise until half way thru the game but geeze a little heads up on this sort of thing would be useful.
Making good progress towards music importing. I sitll have 149mb folder named "Greggory Issac" 440MB on "Reggae Mix" and 1.59GB on "RIDDIMS". Today imported 150 tracks totaling 521MB. I skipped maybe 10 doubles. |

I don't know how I'm related to someone who doesn't get the greatness that is Batman, but my sister is strange on many levels.
I happened to just catch "World Finest" on Superman:TAS. World Finest, for those who don't know, is the team up of Batman and Superman. I'm a fan of DC and a huge fan of Batman and Superman so I enjoyed the episode although I did find it a bit uncharacteristic of Superman to just use x-ray vision on Batman. Sure Superman doesn't approve of vigilantism but anyone who knows Batman knows he's more than just a vigilante.
'Perchance to Dream' is a great episode of Batman: TAS. I always enjoy what if episodes. What if Bruce Wayne never became Batman? Huge potential for greatness.

I can't recall if I've ever read Knightfall. I badly want to perhaps one day I shall but for now I have the novelization and that'll do. I picked up Ultimate Iron Man by accident at the library completely forgetting what the Ultimate stood for. I'm not a big Marvel guy so I just figured I'd get it learn me a little about Iron Man because I hear he's become a huge dick nowadays and I don't remember if he is public like the Fantastic Four or hidden like Batman (in term of secret identity). I was two pages in before I remembered what the Ultimate line is. Oh well it was written by Orson Scott Card who is the bees knees. It was actually pretty good. I don't know how much it varies from the traditional Iron Man but I liked it.
I've been a fan of Ben10 since I saw the first drawing. Just like Trigun when I saw it's character designs. Trigun turned out awesome if a bit different than i expected. Ben 10 turned out pretty much on target. Which is to say still great. As I rewatch Season 1 I remember how much I did hate Ben Tennyson. The kid was a freaking idiot. He had no patience. Was always jumping the gun. Don't get me started on the idiot names he gives his alt forms. I don't remember when he mellows out but I'm glad he does. |
