OMG saw The Dark Knight last night with Sarah.
OMG. SO GOOD. I am still in awe of how BRILLIANT it was.
Seriously, I was so obsessed with Batman when I was little. Before Doctor Who, two BIGGEST obsessions of mine were Heath Ledger and Batman. So combining them, after Doctor Who has finished = a serious amount of obsession.

There were actually moments during the film when I went *sigh* "I am so in love with Batman..." BECAUSE I AM, YO.
He's just...brilliant. If anyone dares to attempt to name a better superhero than him, YOU LOSE THE GAME OF LIFE AND ALL RELATED ENTERPRISES. NO ONE BEATS BATMAN.


I was so pumped to see it before anyway, because we were talking about it ALL DAY, because everyone (save one or two people) SEES THE BRILLIANCE OF BATMAN.

BATMAN!

Srsly I thunk Batman's going to become a staple obsession of mine (again, lol) for the next while.


ALSO:
I got a new phone! It's gorgeous and BLACK and lovely and SLEEK and I love it, and I bought it after I saw the movie, so what was going through my mind was like, "wow, it looks like Batman's phone!"

(which, also, coincidentally, as I bought my last phone in year 9 when I was going through a similar Bat Phase, is what I thought LAST TIME :O)

IT'S GORGEOUS BUT $50 MORE THAN I WAS GOING TO SPEND. In short, today's lesson is, DON'T MAKE SUBSTANTIAL PURCHASES WHEN NEW OBSESSIONS ARE BREWING.

I just got up and it's 6 am and it's school in 3 hours and I am heavily craving that cheese that tastes sooo good with sultanas and the like. UGH SO MUCH.

but everyone go watch this: the Doctor Who version (by hllangel) of the Discovery channel's "I love the whole world" "boom de yada" clip (also where this icon & preceeding XKCD came from!) (DW version has spoilers up to and including ep12 of series 4)

Anyway, the first point I made comes in where THIS SHIT MADE ME CRY PEEPS. I mean, the discovery version screws me up pretty bad (I DO LOVE ALL THOSE THINGS. I SRSLY DO LOVE GIANT SQUIDS & MAGMA & ESPECIALLY THE SKY AND SPACE) with the awww and the sudden bright feeling of happiness and love for everything, but throw Doctor Who in there and it all goes to hell.

GUYS SERIOUSLY IF THE FINALE SOMEHOW BREAKS YOUR BRAIN WATCH THIS ON REPEAT. I know I will.

I'm so bored. Give me something to do wonderus friends. Seriously, so shinty bored that I spent the entire day polishing the silverware. We have a  motherfliping lot of silverware. I am out of silverware to polish. I hate holidays. Saturday - I shampooed the carpet. Sunday - SUNDAY I WAS A NORMAL PERSON!

Sunday night was Yanika's 18th, so we had really REALLY good dinner at this chinese place in Forest Hill, it was so so good. So many courses, & really good food. Then afterwards we went to Darkzone in Boxhill and  laser'd for an hour til about 11 or 11:30 . 'Twas very fun. Good friends, good food, good cake, and running with lasers. What more could one want?

Eh, Good News Week is on now. Win.

A passenger loudly further up the tram: "yeah, it's really great!"
Driver: "Are you talking about me, or something else you had tonight?"

Ah, I was so sad to get off this tram. This guy was brilliant, and he had a voice that could rival even the guy who does the ads for SBS. It's so just one of those voices just built for innuendo.

Plus this was the Saturday a few weeks ago when the Zombie Shuffle was going on, and  a Scientology protest, so in the morning at Flinders it was full of zombies and (because Scientology protests in melbourne are the wittiest and wackiest there are) pirates and heaps and heaps of people in V for Vendetta masks (according to the pamphlets handed out, to protect oneself from the Scientologists). Basically, that day was total fucking Melbourne brand splendour.

I'm on school holidays now, which is a motherfucking hella needed break. Everyone in the last week of school, well, we were all just like a pack of brain dead zombies. All the maths methods students had a SAC worth 20% of the coursework grade on Thursday, and every single person you talked to was just like, I wanted to study I REALLY DID, but I came home and I just had to SLEEP! We are not that sort of school. It was epically sad.

I am extremely sick right now! I've been horrendously sick every last week of term & into the holidays every term this year, and I think most last year too. I have a crazy insane shinty ear infection, so I can't hear at all in my right ear! THIS WEEK HAS BEEN SO SHINTY FUN GUYS. TOTES. I've got a shinty cold too, it's driving me MENTAL!

I've got an 18th birthday party tomorrow. Going for dinner in Box Hill/Forest Hill area then laserforcing someplace. Shall be fun.
