stress therapy post.

I've been forced to uninstall iTunes. I have been doing alot of organization work with my music files, and several of the songs i had got deleted in the process. Lots of "do i really listen to this?" and "why the hell do I have this song? I don't like this band at all!" happened along the way.

I was going to just delete all the songs from the program and start over from scratch. BUT. iTunes crashed every time. So... easiest route out of the problem is to reinstall and start all over again from scratch. Fun!

I can't figure it out, guys. My fandom is all but gone these days. I was one intense fangirl. Most of you know that. That goes for all of them too. Well, most of em. I have managed to hold on to my L'arc/Hyde love. They're my #1 favorite, after all. Be kinda hard to leave them behind. Super Junior, while i still think they're all adorable and (mostly) good singers, just don't really do it for me these days. I have no desire to watch them, or read about them. Same goes for Bi, Wheesung, and tons more. Not to mention... it feels like i'm upsetting people with this. Beth asked me today if i had seen the new Super Junior videos.... suju happy, or something? I replied no, i haven't... followed by the above revelation. She seemed so disappointed. The conversation kinda trailed off and eventually died... then she signed off. The feeling that by moving on from my overly fangirly days I am upsetting people just makes it all worse. I have no intention of leaving the friends I made along the way behind. Not by any means. But I'm left kinda feeling empty... don't really know what to do with myself. Going nuts, people. Halp.

Hyde performs with Glay!

Personally.... I'm pretty over Glay. I never really liked them all that much, just like... a song or two when i first broke into j-rock. Oh... then there's that bitchin glass guitar that Hisashi had... that was great.

He's home!!! Yay! He didn't come in until 7 am monday morning. I tried staying up for him, but i crashed on the couch. It was the greatest feeling... kissing him, hugging him... then falling asleep with him until 1:30 in the afternoon! Unfortunately i had to run away to my parents place for a little bit. A little bit turned into like... 3 hours. I came home and Lamont had bought me an expansion to Oblivion (the game i beat while he was away... he thinks its cute that i'm turning into "his little gamer").

all in all.... this was one of the best days ever.

So... Lamont just got on the plane in Miami a little while ago. The flight was delayed a long time. He'll be in Newark, NJ in about 3 hours. Then from there he's going to his mom's place, then taking ashley home, then finally coming back to me. At around 5am. I've been waiting and waiting... only to wait some more.

That's me. taken december 98. I was.... 13. Madly in love with Hanson.

I just got news today that the youngest brother Zac (my personal favorite, also 8 months younger than myself) was the last of the 3 brothers to have a child. All of them are married now. Taylor has 3 kids, Isaac has a 1 year old and is expecting #2 next month.

I practically grew up with em, and look at them now. Damn breeders.

Don't mind me, i'm a lame ass.

Then I remembered that he wasn't sure if the hotel had free internet access.

I worked really, really hard to get the apartment ready for a party. Got all nervous about making a cake from scratch for the first time in 2 years. So... I made a practice one before the one for Toya. This is supposed to be her party. Guess who's here? Me. Lamont. Giz. That's all.

Toya isn't here. Melissa and Kelly have failed to show up, even tho we went to their place to remind them. Mike forgot all about it in general. Pete had a date for a party thrown by a guy he works with, was supposed to be yesterday... but got moved to tonight. So he's not here. Then... Adrian and Karen had a meeting or something. Anddd Nina doesn't drive. So she's not here either.

I'm having another of those moments where i'm in a house full of people and i'm completely alone. I'm really, really sad... just plain empty. but at the same time, i feel like i could do something... productive as a result. Thing is, nothing is coming to me. Like... i tried drawing, nothing happened. I'm listening to music, and i can't write anything without it coming out sounding like whatever i've got on. Part of me wants to curl up and cry in bed. BUT. I know Lamont would get concerned. Everyone knows that i hate worrying him. I just can't win today. What the hell is wrong with me??

This is a strange update.

Up notes:

- Chrissy has been added to our Final Fantasy 8 cosplay group. She will be Selphie, while her daughter Alyssa (my niece, Runtface) is going to be a moogle. ^_^
- We've found lots more pieces of our other costumes!
- I'll PROBABLY be able to use the power tools at Lamont's Mom-mom's house. (Scary thought, eh?)


Downers:

- We ran into a snag with Lamont's costume. 0_o
- I've been having those weird chest pains again. I used to have them while i lived with Nick, and out of the blue.... they're back. Plus, my boobs are tender. That's uncomfortable.
- We... don't have enough money to get said found pieces.

This year our theme is "the unloved characters of Final Fantasy 8." Meaning.... we're trying to do side story characters (but others are acceptable and welcome). For example, the group so far is as follows.

Myself as Laguna
Lamont as Kiros
Giz as Ward
Nina as Fujin

We're looking for a Raijin to go along with Fujin, since they're almost always together.... but if there is any other character you'd like to do (say, maybe... Selphie or Zell... or any others for that matter, feel free to let us know. I will be more than happy to help with costume construction and design.

Convention information is here. You'll be responsible for finding your own place to stay and transportation for that weekend.
