I just got back from seeing Beauty and the Beast. It was amazing. I loved the costumes, the unashamed over-the-top-ness, the sets, and Guston and Lumiere especially. And the Beast was just charming.

And, yeah. The sets. I can't even describe it, they were just so a;ldsfsjf amazing, they had this... semi-transparent screen thing and they'd project trees onto it, and the characters would stand behind it, and it really looked the woods, all dark and full of atmosphere. I loved the town especially. Maybe it was "provincial" or whatever, but all the people were just likable. And Belle's Dad! ♥

Surprisingly enough, I didn't like the actress who played Belle. :[ I tend to expect a lot more from the leads than I would others and alsfj;dsf she was outshone by, er, basically everyone? She did the power-notes all right but when it came to lower/more subtle/whatever she kind of uh maybe failed. Which was really disappointing. Though she did all right on "Home" and "Something There" i guess?

Of all the songs, "Be Our Guest" was probably my favorite, along with "Belle" at the beginning.

I'm surprised I have energy to be all YAY though, haha, after seeing Chicago I was just exhausted.

Okay, so I beat MGS4. Dad rented Assassin's Creed and Enchanted Arms so those games are on my list to beat--Assassin's Creed first, though, since Enchanted Arms doesn't attract me as much. a;lsjdfl I remember a time when I loved RPGS, man, what happened to that :[

And it looks kind of a;lsf typical? Though, I don't know, I haven't looked at any reviews or anything so maybe I'm being too harsh just 'cause it's an RPG.

Anyone got any other PS3 games to recommend? plzplz?

If not, I'll just go back to B&W 2. I only have like, 2 more lands to beat but I'm lazy, lazy, lazy.

lately I have also been tempted into picking up RTS games again, which, well, WTF. Age of Empires III has been sitting by my computer for forever now and it is tempting me with its siren call. :[

LOL my violin exam is coming up and I have been slacking basically the whole year, but I really just can't bring myself to care. I think next year I just won't take the exam--I've realized I'm not really serious-serious about it, though I do love playing violin. :[ I just... argh. I don't need it on top of everything else, and i really hate ruining hobbies by trying to take them too seriously. as;jlfd I only practice for like 30 minutes a day and I've got friends who're like "oh I practice for forever every day" (LOL though I'm not sure I believe ALL of them). Obvs it's not enough. I will pass this exam and then be a 3rd grade violinist for the res tof my life lolol

Also, I somehow got suckered into drawing a picture of 12 chibis for the prom committee. If I somehow manage to get CAS hours out of it, I won't feel so pathetic, hopefully. :[ I insult and make fun of people all the time (especially when I shouldn't) but apparently I'm still a great big sucker.

It makes me feel better about myself. Like one of those emo kids in manga who is sekritly nice. Only not as woobie-ish. My life is too awesome for that.

Today I encountered a mouse. It was very small and cute: when it ran over my feet, the sound I made was sort of the bastard child of a scream and a coo.

It retreated into the wardrobe and proceeded to make ominous scratching noises. I txt'd my Dad, who txt'd my Mom, who told the maid, who came up with a trap, except when we opened the door it ran into my brother's room and not into the trap.

I think the mouse came from the ceiling. There's a bunch that live right above my room. They drive me crazy with all the scratching, scrabbling sounds they make, which in the dark of night is exactly the kind of thing that keeps you wide awake, like dripping water, except worse. Whenever my Mom says I'm going to go deaf because I listen to my iPod at night I blame the mice.

Finals suck. :[

So today, we (various friends + Amiir + me) decided, uhh, we should FINALLY unlock Snake in Brawl. Because we've had the game for FOREVER and we still hadn't.

So we did 15 1 min. matches at the Shadow Moses level, and uhhh GUESS WHO ENDED UP HAVING TO FIGHT SNAKE. :[ I just knew that if I lost, Amiir would kill me. Or at least make me feel really stupid, which is probably worse.

But I did it! Uhh the damage went up to like 150% ish though so that's kind of sad BUT WHO CARES. My heart was thumping like crazy the whole time. I'M NOT GOOD AT BRAWL. I ALMOST ALWAYS LOSE WHEN FIGHTING NEW CHARACTERS. I STILL DO NOT KNOW WHY AMIIR JUST DIDN'T TAKE THE DAMN CONTROLLER FROM ME AND BEAT SNAKE HIMSELF. WTF AMIIR.

Prom was awesome. *-* But I've already gushed about it to a lot of people so I'd rather not do it again. I looked hot, though :] Carl, too. And we looked even hotter together.

Obvs everyone else looked hot, too.

Ms. L gave the funniest long speech ever in history. It was so full of in jokes too. KICK-ASS.

My life is so full of awesome people. IT'S AMAZING. And being with all those awesome people at prom was even more amazing. I'm definitely going next year. I shall drag ALL my friends along. And it will be even more awesome 'cause we'll be SENIORS.

(I will possibly be the shortest senior ever at 4'8" still.)

Oh look, I'm posting fic. For the first time in... ever.

This kind of story is... totally different from what I usually do. But I hope it's a good read anyway. I also really like all the different reactions I've had to the ending... not all of them good *g* I'm too fond of it to change it, though, even though my Amiir's the only one who understood exactly what happened.
