Today has been a total waste of time. I was going to go to the Eagle's nest for a picnic, but now it is too late to get there by bus, since it would take 3 buses and over an hour to get there. Blah. Maybe I'll just go out to the Walmart or something. I need to buy material anyhow.

You remember Joss Whedon, right? Well, one night he, his brother, Neil Patrick Harris and Nathan Fillion were sitting around his basement, lamenting the writer's strike when Whedon's brother said 'why don't they just put it online?'

And thus Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog was born. Watch it now. Part 3 comes out July 19th, and everything gets taken down July 20th. It stars NPH, Nathan, and one of the potentials from Buffy. There is singing, and Nathan Fillion says penis.

It is my new favorite thing.

Tesla lives! He is a healthy, neutered boy! The vet called earlier, and he is resting, but very healthy. His liver/kidneys are good, and he is negative for feline leukemia! Yay super kitty!

I can pick him up anytime after 4. I'm going to give him an extra hour at the vet's office (maybe hour and a half, it's rush hour) and then bring him home.

Then he has the next month or so to get used to his ball-less existence before kitty #2 arrives.

I spent the day cleaning and sorting. I need to sort more stuff (for freecycles people) and then clean the bathroom. And shower. And get my kitty.

good plan
I just posted about 20-30 things up for grabs on freecycle, and they're already claimed! Hoorah for recycling!

It feels weird to be doing a spring cleaning in July. I swear I'll take Thursday and chill (seeing as I am busy cleaning and with meetings tomorrow).

So! The storage room is clean enough to finally store our bikes (they have been in the living room since April). You kinda have to twist and wrangle them a bit, but all 3 fit. That's what matters. I am going to search for some solutions, perhaps get them hanging to conserve on space. We'll have to see.

It's kind of a spring cleaning mode, just in summer. This was a good day to do it though, since it's wet and rainy. I still have a bunch of boxes to go through of stuff that was in storage that shouldn't have been, but I have tomorrow off.

I also have to bring some books to sell downtown tomorrow.

All this work, and on my day off.

You know, the festival wasn't all that great. It was kind of boring, actually.

Right now I'm hungry and really annoyed. Flakes piss me off.
