++ My orthodontist says we can do the alveolectomy in the clinic under local anaesthesia. FUCK NO. I know what a bitch local anaesthesia is like, there is no effin' way I will agree to that! We're planning on a one-day hospitalization just to get myself a general anaesthesia (it's apparently just a quick surgery) then the rest of the day to wake up from that then go home.

We're going to ask for a second opinion on this though, because I asked the daughter of a patient (REALLY nice people) if I actually need it and she said that in her opinion, it's not needed. So we'll see.

++ So flist, confess -- who among you watches True Blood? I've been desperate for another TV show to watch other than Gossip Girl so I picked this up. The fake Southern accents are so distracting; I'd rather Stephen Moyer use his native British accent. Hee. Other than that, while I'm not too much into the story (yet?), I'm still watching because of the characters -- specifically, the boys (what other reason should there be? XD). Pretty boy Jason Stackhouse is such a stupid manwhore it's amusing; Sam Merlotte is adorable and dependable, yet with his own issues that they have yet to reveal on the show; Bill Compton is a nice vampire with those dark eyes that I honestly don't know when he's joking or being scary; LAFAYETTE REYNOLDS is my favourite. No other reason for that. XD

Then Alexander Skarsgård comes in playing Eric Northman and I am enthralled. The perfect vampire in the series so far. Incredibly attractive that you'd want him paying you some attention and yet exuding danger that you wish he'd never notice you...unlike Bill's "friends" who are all incredibly hideous, with both what they do and how they look. Ugly vamps, them.

++ I see Emma Watson has another photoshoot from Harper's Bazaar. Can they please get Anna Popplewell for stuff like these? I've nothing against Emma, just that I prefer Anna more. The girl has such a classic beauty, I've been wanting to see her in a high-end photoshoot like this and look at the results. I mean, the girl has a better rack too. XD

Now I don't know if this is the reason that spurned him to have our mum herd us to an orthodontist because apparently, my mouth/lips puckers out too much and I may need to get braces for it or something.

Went there today and apparently, I might (possibility is HIGH) have to undergo surgery. Alveolectomy, to be exact, to remove parts of the alveolar process (bones...somewhere around my mouth, I'd have to find out about that) because it's growing and that is the reason my mouth/lips are pushed out.

Then, said orthodontist may have to remove some of my wisdom teeth (third molars, if you prefer that term) before putting on the braces.

Um. HOW PAINFUL IS ALL THIS? I recall reading how some of you had their wisdom teeth pulled out and how that hurt like a bitch. I CANNOT GO TO WORK WITH A SWOLLEN FACE!!!

Also, the surgery scares me because while I am on a surgical unit, I've never heard of this before. We don't deal with dentistry-related surgeries. The incision! The pain! The how-long-will-I-have-to-stay-away-from-work! Auuuggghh.

It's been a month.
It still hurts.
I'm still crying, although less frequently now (two weeks since the last one).
The crying doesn't do anything; doesn't even make me feel better afterwards. It's like, I cry and heave great sobs, finish...then feel like crying again after a few minutes.

When will this be over?

I have to leave for work in two hours. My heart is absolutely not into it and is incredibly heavy. Couple that with all the hullabaloo that I've been dealing with and I actually, really feel a tightness in my chest. Taking a deep breath releases said tightness for a just a few seconds. =\

Meanwhile, I am waiting for some packages to arrive and the fact that I have to leave in two hours is chagrining. I want to get those packages before I head off to work; they will definitely cheer me up. Also, mum and sis cannot get a hold of those packages and if it comes later in the afternoon, they'll definitely see it. UGH.

I'd go into detail about it, but I'm saving it for when I need another time to express to get out all the awful feelings from the system. I've been telling a lot of people, partly because I want everyone to know how I (and the other girl) was fooled BIG TIME, and partly because telling others makes me not bottle it up inside me and sit there and stink and make me feel awful.

I'd just like to quote John Mayer from this TMZ interview --
