a moment in the life
i think birjinder's funeral will be in the next week. that's a trip. i don't think that i've fully grasped his passing or found space to grieve, since it was so sudden and completely unexpected. how are we as human beings to respond to such sadness? how do we pay respect to a life lost and grow from it? regardless, i got to know birj as a comrade in the struggle for justice, and that struggle continues in our lives so that means he continues. and so do his jokes. for instance:
