This makes me kinda upset. I mean I remember when Snuffaluffagus could only be seen by Big Bird. I didn't think anything about Big Bird having an imaginary friend. And who knows maybe if we do show kids images of cows grazing in pastures they'll get the point that cows shouldn't be locked up like they are.

I'm sure all of you are getting tired of my knitting/crochet posts. But I've fallen in love...with a yarn.

I'm wanting to use the pattern my grandmother used for ponchos, 2 large granny squares, but I can't find that pattern anywhere online. And it's not like I can ask my grandmother either.

Ugh...I just want this one pattern! But it appears like I have to find another.

And there are only 60 days til Christmas. And I'm tired of knitting. Luckily, all the ones I haven't started are crochet. But that also means that there are projects that even if I don't feel like knitting them I need to.

I'm back to using the labs on campus because last night my mom's hard drive died. She wants me to call tech support, yet she's not giving me the date she purchased the darn thing so I can actually call them. Grrrrr.....
On top of that, my computer is still not working.

So I won't be online much at all. I'll just be on AIM through my cell phone.

In other news,  during terrorism awareness week there will be a rally at ISU's campus "to confront the two Big Lies of the political left: that George Bush created the war on terror and that Global Warming is a greater danger to Americans than the terrorist threat"

A few people at ISU have mentioned a counter rally, but so far no steps have been taken for it. I doubt many ISU students read this but if you are interested in a counter rally please contact me.

I was looking through the knitting community I belong to on here and someone did something fun.

I never knew you could knit with ramen.

There's my big joy of the day.

Working on Christmas gifts right now.  I got my package with the yarn for the Jayne hat on Tuesday and just finished it.  The package had stamps from Osiris, and Canton making it look like it had gone through those places. I was a yay moment.
