I haven't written about it here, yet, but on saturday I was in Dortmund.
I've met realproof there and we went to see Portugal. the man live.
Actually I didn't know much by them.
But it was a Visions Party, which is always rather cheap (7 bugs this time) & it was near by... so I thought "Well, why not??"

and what can I say?
It was AWESOME!!!
I can't stop listening to their music since then!! ^___^

But do you know what was best??

Last week zutulu42 visited me.
I showed her my town & we went to cologne.
It was the cutest thing when we went to the English Shop and she found Light & Dark brown Sugar there XD
I've never seen anybody react soooo excited because of SUGAR!! ^__^
Then again... it's sugar you usually don't get here, so I kind of get her excitement ^_^

Also?? We watched some Invader Zim episodes, I ♥ that show.
She brought me a lot of sweets.
I don't think I'll need to buy more this year XD

Thursday subtle__sarcasm, realproof, kleinemaus, sabrina2611 & I went to the Casting Out concert in Bochum.
It was amazing, really fun and in the end Nathan + Band came out for taking photos and giving autographs.
Those guys are incredibly nice.

At the moment I'm considering to go to their gig in Münster, too.
But I'm not feeling so well.
I'm cold all the time and can't stop sneezing.

Today I played Broken Sword 2.5 all day long.
Well, you only need about 3 hours to finish it ^_^
It's free and in case you like adventure games you should give it a try.
I loved the original games.
This one was nice, too, but not really the same...
Still nice to have the old characters back ;D

I finally decided to make those very chewy cookies.
I THOUGHT I had all the ingredients, and started to put everything together.

only to realise that we don't have any FLOUR!!!!!!!
I thought it's the ingredient we have for sure.
Only... not ^_^
Or I'm too blind and just can't find it.

So now I have unfinished cookie dough in the fridge,
and I'm waiting for my mum to come home.
Then I can ask her if we have flour... and if not, then I'll have to buy some before work and finish those cookies this evening *lol* :D

Writing isn't like math; in math, two plus two always equals four no matter what your mood is like. With writing, the way you feel changes everything. If I tried to write Midnight Sun now, in my current frame of mind, James would probably win and all the Cullens would die, which wouldn't dovetail too well with the original story. In any case, I feel too sad about what has happened to continue working on Midnight Sun, and so it is on hold indefinitely.

Sooo, my neighbours got theirselves a cat...
but after a few days (2 or maybe 3) they decided that they don't want it anymore.
We should take it!!
Ehm... no? We already have a cat??
Sometimes I steal their little one, because it's cute and tiny & I just wanna cuddle it.
and then little and big one play together... or so it seems.
Today ours tried to bite the little one in the neck and in the back.

Anyways, so far, so good.
My oldest brother, the one who has a son (my nephew... the one I see maybe once a year ... or less), decided it may be a good idea to get his son a pet.
A cat!
Oh, but not only one cat, no, two, because it's always better to have two cats, they can play together.
His son is 1 year and 7months old. He can't even talk "properly".
So, yeah, disaster was programmed...

So guess who has a 10 week old cat now,
because my brother was stupid enough to get his way to young kid a cat!!!
The worst part?
Old one and new one aren't compatible.
The older one is back to biting neck/back...
and I can play the catsitter and watch the cats.
Don't let them kill each other.

I wouldn't mind it if they'd fight together.
But the small one is scared and isn't actually fighting back.
As soon as he bites her she freezes.
So now I'm a cat bodyguard.
and I HATE it.
The small one is cute, yes, but I can't do anything!!
Even while writing this entry I had to get up and protect the small one.
GNARF!!!

Sorry for this rant, but this annoys me sooo much.
It wouldn't be necessary if people would actually THINK!!
You don't get 1 1/2 year old children pets!!
and you don't get pets and then suddenly decide that... oh, you actually don't have time for them!!
Why are people sooo stupid??

and why do I have to be related to some of them?????? *sighs*

At the moment I'm holding a grudge against work.
I was supposed to have 3 days in a row off.
tuesday, wednesday, thursday, yaaay.
Yesterday was spent in Dortmund, with subtle__sarcasm & realproof.
First we went comic book shopping (hi there Heroes comic ^_^ ) and after that I went to the city with realproof, to buy a blouse (that was planned) and a new bag... with STARS on it!!! (that wasn't planned, but who can resist stars?? not me ^_^ )

Anyways, after that we went home...

I decided to catch up on my tv shows on wednesday & thursday, yaaaay.
Pushing Daisies, Dexter & Doctor Who was on my schedule!! :]

I started with the Pushing Daisies pilot, woohooo :D
and in the middle of it our home phone started to ring... but I decided to let it ring *coughs**coughs*
Usually only people for my mum call on that line... or work...
When someone wants to speak to me they usually just call my cellphone.

The ringing was very persistent and it didn't really stop, so I already knew that it had to be work.

So... after the pilot I checked my cellphone... and saw that I'd missed a call... from work.
but they left a message at my voicemail... asking me to work from 12am to 6pm.
and that I should call them back, please.
It was more like a "you'll have to work tomorrow, don't tell us no!!" message.

and that really, really, REALLY pissed me off.
I couldn't call back immediately, I had to cool off first.
I mean ... I don't mind working long hours, but I'd really appreciate it if my days off wouldn't change for once.
Monday they asked to work on wednesday, but I told them no, now they tell me to come to work on thursday.
Thank you very much.

I hadn't planned anything big, but I was looking forward to finally watching stuff again.
I'm sooooo behind... I was glad to be able to catch up a little bit again.
But nooooo, as you can see, it just wasn't meant to be! -_-
*curses work*

anyways, I was still able to watch some shows today & yesterday.

Yesterday I went to the movie theater with realproof, to watch Mamma Mia!
Which was very cute, adorable and real fun to watch.

The audience made the movie ... sometimes even funnier/better ^_^

Anyways, that's not the main reason I'm talking about this.
While we were purchasing our movie tickets, I suddenly saw something interesting behind their counter.

Today I went to "Hammer Summer" after work.
Saw 20minutes of Kim Wilde's performance (including Kids in America) and maybe half an hour of "The BossHoss" before I left again. ^_^

After that I went to the Enchilada with Maren, to get myself a cocktail to go, mmmmh, best invention ever ^_^

Then we went to her car ... which was surrounded by muscle guys!!
and I was all "uhm... "
but she was only... "WOOOOAH, WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING THERE???"
She thought they're scratching it or whatever...
still... it was 5 - 10 men ... big men, with muscles!!
I wouldn't have stormed to them like she did and screamed at them :D

Turns out ...
they used her car to take drugs XD XD XD
There were still signs of white powder in a line on it XD XD XD

Therefore they just answered her "screams" with "Nothing, nothing, nothing..." and gone they were :D
That was... kinda impressive and new XD XD XD

Now I'm home, eating Pizza, yum, yum, and tomorrow there will be Rheinkultur
