You will find me with earphone wire twisted into knots underneath my chin, my creative mp3 clutched in one hand. You will find me sprawled before my laptop. You will find me laughing as my cat runs under the bed. You will find me on the phone at 1:30 in the morning. You will find me with a ring with the wrong birthstone on my left hand, a random butterfly around my neck or owls dangling from my ears. You will find me wistful, you will find me dreaming with two hands. You will find me narrowing my eyes over a word, the right collision into phrase. You will find me staring at my past-waist-long hair in the mirror, wondering if I should cut it to my ears, knowing I never will. You will find me rueful and smiling at the 4000+ messages in my gmail. You will find me pensive over lyrics, drowning in sound. You will find me looking lonely and trying to feel unlonely. You will find me wearing a dress and a vest and a skirt and two shirts and a belt and boots and tights...at the same time. You will find me over a novel, over my sketchbook, over an art school catalogue. You will find me covered in charcoal and acrylics and sweat. You will find me with miles and miles of paper around my fingers. You will find me doing extensive planning for the future to keep myself calm. You will find me emptying containers of freeze-dried strawberries. You will find me and fall in love. You will find me, and wish you hadn't. You will find me. And I will be me.
