Yup, you guessed it -.- I'm still home sick. Rolls. In any case, I've found a site that you can use as a search engine, while raising money for a cause or charity (there's a huge list you can choose from) with each search. It's powered by google, I believe, so you can use it for all your searches.

So I've been home all day...and my fever's finally broke. Or at least, I hope so *crosses fingers*. And now I'm just left with a killer headache.
But argh, there's a HUGE guard practice after school today, complete with rifle and sabre sectionals...and I'm going to be so behind >< maybe I'll wait another hour or so then beg my dad to take me? >_< I still kind of feel like crap though, so maybe I shouldn't risk it? Rolls.
I always have such bad luck with these things.

YAY FOR GUARD COMPETITION! Even though it was at TJ and felt somewhat like a rehearsal and I had to run 3 hours worth of drumlines around the school, I LOVED IT! Guard is totally amazing and completes me.
You know what else completes me though? ANDREWTASTIC DAYS. And today was one of them ^__^ First I get a little 'Andrew McMahon' story from my secret pal featuring the *perfect* me having a *perfect* show & Andrew walking down from the stands....TBC at next comp xD. And THEN I get an airgram from the drumline (aka mostly Nanfei's idea) saying 'Andrew's watching you, Tessa!' hahahaha. It made my day.
We got 4th out of 9, btw, in case you care. A 62!!!!!!!! If you didn't know, that's a really good score. We missed winning 3rd by .6 of a point, then 2nd place was like .1 above that. So w/e. We'll totally kick their butts next time.

New layout! I combined some Kurt Halsey's pretty art + JM in a Valentine-like theme...I <3 it! I haven't made a header in soooo long.
7 stripes into my Slytherin scarf...and I can't knit thanks to my injured thumb! I'm wavering between wanting the competition tomorrow and hesitating, since I probably won't perform all of the show thanks to this again >< it sucks to be injured for a first show. But then, there's what, a 90% chance of snow?

So I went out and bought size 8 needles & yarn for my Slytherin scarf. Yay!
Currently I am one green stripe (about 2 inches...will be a tad more than 3 when it's washed and set)+ 2 'silver' rows into it, and congrating myself on the successful color change. ^_^ just thought you should all know.
Today has been strange. I keep feeling the urge to laugh at something that technically wasn't supposed to be funny, and am dwelling wayyyy too much on human nature in general. And NOW I'm off to start a satrical 'story' for English....which will take place in the shape of a sonnet lol. T'will be my first...and it's just going to be another venture into writing about the strange behaviors of humans. Sigh.

I just finished The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon by Stephen King. Primitively scary, as expected, but also made me feel rather strangely, as if the story could have been partially mine.

I've a feeling a few craft classes could benefit me.
Me + DIY always turns out unexpectedly. After half an hour of wrestling with a needle&thread and an earring-in-progress, I've ended up with one earring that can be calling nothing but 'the creative bead cluster'.
O_o
I'd show pictures if I wasn't too lazy to upload them onto my computer downstairs.
