I don't know... I used to try to keep at least some of my geekiness under wraps but I guess it's front and center with these nockFORCE quickies. There's nothing I can do.
Also I wanted to announce the relaunch of NOCKFORCE.COM!
Most of our viewers watch the quickies as embedded content so this site is an attempt to make that easier by using the latest in web 2.0 technology...
Okay I'll level with you, the old site was actually just a placeholder for this one. So it's probably more of a "launch" than a "relaunch". But whatever it's finally done. And there's some new extras like Icons and Wallpaper and stuff! The site's still retarded from time to time we are working out the kinks.
Having a website you like is like finally having an apartment you're not ashamed to invite people to.
Been pretty busy lately. Taxes kicked my ass last week. But the worst is over. |

Oh, nockFORCE gets all topical this week. So topical you could use it as an analgesic.
I blame the Writers' Strike, but lately Jim and I have been watching a lot of political coverage. You can't get better stupid reality TV than CNN. It's just as brainless as The Amazing Race, and the production values are excellent. The acting's pretty bad though.
The nockPad was host to another fun partay this weekend. People jammed on an animation that can be seen at the end of the video above. It's some kind of weenie man twisting and screaming. It's funny. |

Movies. There Will Be Blood was great. Daniel Day Lewis plays crazy really well. I'm gonna be surprised if it doesn't win Oscars or something. Also it's directed really well. And it's funny/heartbreaking
Persepolis was pretty good too. Not as good as the comic. But good in a different way. The animation was pretty good. It showed a lot of restraint on the part of the animators, which I like a lot.
I heard of this Cloverfield movie but the commercials make it look kind of dumb. Maybe I'll see it eventually.
Been writing and planning and scheduling a lot lately. It's difficult. |

i dont know if this will make sense. I mean, this actually happens. We've seen it happen and that's why we're imitating it.
I'm looking forward to this week. I had fun getting back to work after the holidays and Venture Bros is moving along smoothly. We got more footage back from Korea next week and it looked great! I can't wait for the show to air eventually.
Also I FINALLY saw "No Country For Old Men" this weekend and I really enjoyed it. That Javier Bardem guy is creepy as hell. |

finally back in Brooklyn after some holiday BS. I had a good xmas. i got a ton of gift cards, which i have just learned is basically playing right into the hands of the retail establishment. but i guess that's okay.
Anyone else's holiday break have recurring political themes? Iowa's primary ruined christmas! |

Last week we were on a college radio show. they played some nockFORCE tracks and we yelled like crazy idiots for a while. it was pretty fun. there should be a "podcast" of the show up in a few days or something.
