The Improv-a-thon <td width="350">
I swear that the Improv-a-thon '05 was the best 16 hours of my life. O_O Honestly, the BEST. For those of you who don't know what the improv-a-thon is; It's an event where the drama club stays up all night preforming a certain number of improv skits for points. At the end, the team with the most points wins. But we dont' really do it to win, we do it for fun.
Anyway, I was in a group with Chaz, Zach, Fi, Emily, Cheeks, and Ryan. Basically: My group freakin ROCKED. Our first skit had to include a bag of random props they gave us including a mechanical arm, a moon plushie, flowers, a cat mask, a giant crawfish plushie, and a drum. I don't know how we thought of our skit but we ended up having a team of cyborgs travel in time to destroy a beatnick/crawfish festival on beacan hill because aparently: beacon hill IS important and the power rangers have to save the day. Cheeks as Zordon was the best thing ever and I have a new respect for moon plushies because, "good thing this is actually an electro-magnetic boomerang that happens to be the cyborgs' only weakness!"
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Anymoo, our second skit was our favorite. We had to do a story like "how the zebra got its stripes" and such. Ours ended up being "how hanson got their lyrics"
Genius.
In our story, there was a forth hanson brother named Zanzibar but the other three (me, emily, and fi) didn't like him so we hired some ghetto assasin to throw battery acid on his legs so that we could kick him out of the band. All I have to say is:
"DAMN YOU HANSON! YOU'LL NEVER MAKE THE BILLBOARD TOP 100!!!"
"and the next day, hanson's hit song made the billboard top 10"
"....SHIT!"
Plus, making cheeks a crazed hanson fan with the band's name written across his chest is enough to make me die happy.
I think our third skit kinda sucked even though I got an award for my character. We had to do a musical titled "grandma got runover by a crawfish" The thing that saved our skit was Cheeks' anchorman impressions and Zach's "hydrolics". I was a vengeful grandpa who hated crawfish because aquaman sicked a crawfish to kill my wife randomly in a bar one day. But hey, we ended it with the "irish drinking song" so who can complain.
Our fourth skit was probably a marking point in my life. It was a soap opera version of Jack and the Beanstalk but one character was the best thing ever. Basically, we dressed this very manly and hot kid in drag and he was the harp lady/psycho killer/whore who talked like salad fingers. For all of you who don't know who salad fingers is:
I have pictures that are marked as absolutly priceless AND as blackmail. I want to post them SOOOOO badly but i have a feeling they'll get around to the wrong ppl >_> . if i DO post them, i'll blur out his face...even though the facial expressions are priceless.....I may post them in a different entry thats only open to my friends....
ANYPOO! We ended with a skit that got us an award for best skit of the night. It was a spoof of american idol as "The best re-inactments of the worst scenes from the worst movies". The chemistry and gay references between Zack Hoffman (whom we kidnapped) and Chaz was absolute genius. Me and Emily kicked ass with our Jurassic park, harry potter, and kevin bacon references.

I was listening to the song "closer" by Nine Inch Nails and got to the line "I wanna fuck you like an animal". This made me pause for a second. At first it just sounds erotic and dirty, but seriously...think about how animals fuck. Have you ever watched the discovery channel and all of a sudden turned to the mating habbits of koala bears? Blue man group+penis head cult+transvestite+mexican= best day ever <td width="350">
Seriously, best day EVER!
It started out with the biggest rush/thrill of "will we make the train on time?" . Amy got off to a bit of a late start of picking people up and JUST made it to the station as the train was about to arrive. Though I thought it would have been more dramatic if the car came in on slow motion and did a flip off the tracks...like in the movies... O_o
Then, we found out that all our teachers were on the train too! Apparently for some big teacher's convention thingy. Amy wants Mr. Telles ;)
Once we got to North Station we moseyed out way to Fanuel Hall for some food and shopping. On the way, Amy stoped to give a sexual favor to a molassas man. I call it, "worse than necrophilia"

Anymoo, while eating our food we kinda got stalked by this dude who wanted someone on a talk show...very badly...They seemed DESPERATE for a talk show guest considering they were asking us. I got a picture of him looking like he was gonna sneeze...

Anymoo again, we shopped around a bit. Got a cute shirt at Banana Republic. I felt like a rich chick walking around with the Banana Republic bag. Kathleen dragged me into American Eagle after the Banana place.I saw a shirt that said "santa's little helper" and thought it would do much better as a logo on guy's pants (think dirty thoughts, people).
We ended up meeting up again with Filipe, Rachel, Kate, Amy, and Colby in Zoiks where they raided my Strawberry Shortcake. >=( . Damn Nazis...oh yeah...Lego Harry Potter is teh s3X0rZ

We still had a few hours to kill before heading to the Blue Man Group show so we head over to the Theatre District to shop at "City Place" because I THOUGHT there were shops there...but I thought wrong....We all had to pee but they made us buy icky drinks in eitehr to use their bathrooms. Greedy mother fuckers. After we sat down again, the best moment of my life occured.
I had turned around to see a very ugly and sluttly looking woman sitting a few tables behind us. I went to filipe, "is that a prostitute?" and he looked at her and goes "It picks its nose, it's not a whore." So we let it go. A few minutes later filipe turned to me wicked shocked, "kayla that's not a woman..it's a man!"

Apparnetly, it was a very ugly man in very bad drag. If that wasn't funny enough, there was a fat mexican a few tables away checking "it" out. Sure enough, teh tranny gets up and walks over to the table and starts flirting with the mexican. HOLY CRAP! Not only was it a tranny...it was a tranny prostitute! At that point, I realized that God kicks some major bootay.
Still had some hours to kill so we moseyed on into Macy's for an "ugly dress" contest...They were all pretty ugly but I won. Mine looked kinda like a ghetto tinkerbelle. O_o Amy's looked like it had gone through bad neon pink ruffle machine, and rae's was kinda see-through. Too bad we didn't have time for an "ugly outfit" contest too :'(

Now it was time for...*drumroll please* BLUE MAN GROUP!!!! The show was fucking AMAZING!!! From neon paint, to exploding twinkies, all the way to a flood/fort of streamers, and marshmellow sculptures. It's the most amazing show ever and if you HAVEN'T seen it, you should go see it now or you will die incomplete. We were lucky to get some shots with them afterwards. I told one that it was my birthday and got him to wave at me ^.^

We splurged the remainder of our cash at the Blue Man store. I got myself a shirt and some killer drumsticks.
By now it was late and we were kinda hungrey so we decided to head to Hooters for some food. Filipe and Rock wanted to go for the girls...we just like the food. Anypoop, we got there and their kitchen was closed. Double poop. Though we had to go in their bathrooms cause their mirrors make us look hot. ;)

Blah, by now the blizzard had started and we were left wandering Boston looking for FOOD. On our way out from Hooters, a bunch of guys booked it out of there with a giant balloon chair that they stole from there.

The only open place was Dunkin Donuts so we settled for that. Then we got back to North Station and saw the best new cult ever. We call them the Penis Head Cult. Maybe the nickname "dickheads"

School sucks...like a vacuum...OF LIFE! <td width="350">
School really bites. Midterms are in less than two weeks and i'm uberly stressed O_O . Freshman year I could slack off because getting good grades was easy. Now, it's becoming very diffcult and I really wanna get straight A's. Getting a B or two is ok but I wanna keep my grades as high as I can and that's impossible to do if you flunk your midterms. Here's my prediction on the outcome of my midterms.
English: Meh, my english teacher is strange. The essay thingy is pretty easy but the vocab part is gonna be a bitch.
History: Probably the easiest class of them all. We can use our notes! You'd have to be George Bush to fail it.
Theatre Arts: We have to create an actual play about 10 minutes long or so. It would be easy if my fucking group would actually do some fucking work. So far i've been writing the fucking script all by myself while they play "spank the monkey" on the nearby computers. And when I ASK for them to help they get mad. "I don't know how to write a script! nyah nyah nyah!" And since it's a "group project" I gotta make up for their slacking. Fucking freshmen >=(
French: French class is pretty basic. It's all memorizing vocab words. No real applied skills yet so the midterm should be a breeze. Though I do predict i'll aquire the loss of use in my right hand. Her midterm is about 300 questions long O_O
Algebra: I'M DYING HERE! Algebra is probably my biggest worry. He's been giving us "practice midterms" and even when i TRY, i still fail. When it comes to Algebra, I'm good. But when it comes to applying a shitload of different algebra skills to one problem, I blank. I've been studying every detail like a busload of priests at a little league game.
Integrated Apps: This class is mainly just un-fair. I had the same teacher last year for keyboarding and so she always expects more from me and Kate because "we should know better" . Plus, whenever I hand something in to her, she claims she "lost it" and gives me a 0 . What a cuntbag
Chemistry: Considering I got a 70 on last year's Bio midterm, I don't have high hopes for the chem one either. I'm gonna study my brains out but i'll still be lucky if I can pull off an 80
