Shadow of Solitude has been updated here for anyone who is interested.
For those who might not remember (and I totally don't blame you if you don't ;), it's the one with Blake, the girly-boy, and Calix, the famous singer, and Blake's pretense and big huge lie about having a twin sister so he can seduce said singer. :P

Because I'm tired of hiding the truth from y'all, the REAL state of affairs in my seriously long stories:
I have a new computer. YAY!
There are parts of chapters ready to be added to and written. YAY!
There's good news and bad news:
The GOOD news is that there is three quarters of a Reckless chapter written.
The bad news is that it (along with all my story notes and everything) is on my old computer and isn't hooked up to be transferred for a bit. I'm bugging my brother to do it (he's the computer guru in the family) and he's wearing down by sheer persistence because he's also a major procrastinator.
...Anyway, the point is that if I can get a hold of my old computer in the next few weeks, then there should be a chapter up of everything I have going in a relatively short time after that. But alas, until then I can only stew and try and remember what I wanted to happen next in all the stories.
BUT! To save any worry or anything if anybody still bothers to read this (And I thank you so much if you do, it means a lot to me and I'm sorry I haven't been worth the patience lately. That's going to change.) I AM still continuing the stories. All the boys are bugging me, and if they have their way, they won't be satisfied until the last chapter of their entire story is written and posted.
Including Joaquin's past.
Anyway, thats about all I had to say. Keep your eyes on this space, I'm certain my brother's going to break down soon. He won't be able to avoid hooking up the networks together for very much longer.

Pick any completed story of mine at random, and I will attempt to write at least 500 words set after the end of the story. Note, this does not include stories where the characters were dead at the end of the fic.
Technically it's not supposed to include WIPs either, but it's going to be a while before I fulfill the WIP requirements and update again unless the muses can get back into gear, so I'll let you choose WIPs too, if you want. Although you must be spoiler-aware of something like that.
You can also ask for fics on hold, like No Regrets or Law Breaker's eyes if you read my fanfiction ;)

All right, so here's the plan.
I want to write Joaquin's Story for nanowrimo this year, because I don't think there's any other way I'll be able to write it within the next few years.
So, if any of you who actually reads this wants to lend me a character (preferably male) to be Joaquin's aquaintances (and clients, later on), I'd love it (and more likely you) if you could help. Mainly because I don't feel like making up characters just to use.
The only roles, understandably I hope, that you can't offer characters for are the chimney sweep master, Oliver, and Joaquin's Sire (so to speak)
Any characters I get will (of course) be credited to you, and if this gets published, as I'm hoping it might once edited, you and your characters will each get a special acknowledgement thingy to you.
So, is anyone interested? This will probably remain open until the middle of October.
( What I need to know about the character: The bare minimum (IE, Feel Free To Add Info As You See Fit )
So feel free to fill out the form: I'm accepting all characters that apply! ^^

Getting into an actor's feelings about the character they play, getting the background behind a writer's plans and metaphors, even just getting the stupid anecdotal stuff that makes you laugh, it's all good.

You're forgiven. A third of the way through the second part of the trilogy isn't all that bad a thing, and I'm actually quite pleased with you. Kudos to you all. You get two weeks off of guaranteed Non Writing Time.
To the Indifferent Team:
Um... hello? Anyone there? Come on guys, now is no time to stop. I'm expecting you back at work tomorrow evening, latest. Otherwise I'm emptying the house of celery and playing horrible music until you present me with at least an idea for the next chapter. Serious.
To the Frozen Fire Team:
Yeah. So you can't sleep together yet. What's that got to do with anything? You're halfway through your part and I'll let you have a break before the second part comes out. Can we at least try and get three quarters done by the end of summer?
To the Misc Stories Crew:
All in all, I'm rather disappointed in you all too. Silver updated recently, which is good, but you haven't presented me with the outline of the next chapter yet. I'd like that by friday, please. Shadows, you're currently winning a competiton. Don't tell me you refuse to work anymore. I want the rest of that chapter by friday; it's been sitting stagnant for long enough now.

Well, really, I don't know what to say to you. Where the hell is the next chapter? Coan, I expected better. And Thaelin, you're grounded until I have a new chapter. That means no parties, no drinking, no shacking it up, nothing. I want a chapter by mid july at the latest, please.

Sully: (flatly) No. No clowns. Balloons, all right, -maybe-, but definately no clowns.
i_nv_u50: (raises eyebrow) It's my birthday.
Sully: (clenches his jaw) It's Kael's too. -You- can have clowns out of mansion if you really want, but none will be coming near Kael.
i_nv_u50: (half teasing, half serious) Why, are you afraid someone would have hired stripping clowns for him?
Sully: (grits his teeth) No. I just don't like clowns.
[Kael chokes on a supressed laugh.]

Sully: (shoots Kael a most unlover-like look) Thanks a lot.

Skylar: (interrupts her) Since no one seems to be talking about anything -important- in here, like you claimed you would, can the rest of us come back in again? Catherine has a new movie for us to watch - and no, writer, you can't watch it with us.
i_nv_u50: (narrows eyes) And why not, pray tell?
Skylar: (exchanges winks with Sully) Because you don't like dramatic horrors.
i_nv_u50: (snorts disbelievingly) LAst time you told me that, you watched the Emporer's New Groove. And you -know- I've lost my copy!
Sully: (rolls his eyes) Look, whatever, we can watch it later. We are not having clowns tomorrow. That's it.
i_nv_u50: (sighs heavily) Sometimes I wonder what it would be like if I didn't let you assholes boss me around so much.
Kael: (starts laughing) Don't worry, O Wonderful Writer. At least this way it's entertaining.
i_nv_u50: For you, maybe.
Skylar: If you didn't like it, you wouldn't allow it. SO you must like it somehow.
i_nv_u50: (sighs in defeat) Oh, all right. Fine Sully, we won't have clowns, but we'll have balloons and cake and paint ball. All right?
Sully: (smirking) All right.
i_nv_u50: (watching the blonde suspiciously) And you're not allowed to drag Kael off somewhere before... Oh, let's say nine PM, okay?
Sully: (scowls. Sullenly) Fine.
i_nv_u50: (grins again) And happy birthday in advance, Kael. I want you and Sully to come down to my office tomorrow so we can get a snippet out for your fans.
Kael: (flushing lightly) Yeah, all right...
[Sully leans over and kisses the corner of Kael's mouth. Skylar mutters something about lovesick saps and stalks out, presumably to get the movie. Ranger comes and grabs an 'aww'ing i_nv_u50 by the arm and pulls her out.]
Sully: We have... about four minutes before Skylar and the others come.
Kael: (smiles somewhat coyly) Good.

Kylan and Brynn are arguing quietly over a game of Hinds & Hounds; and Kael and Sully are snuggling up on the couch paying more attention to each other than the TV in a sickeningly sweet romantic way. Ranger is flipping through the pages of a magazine in boredom, and Skylar is teasing Mikah in the corner.]
[Enter i_nv_u50. All conversation stops. Sulyl and Kael gape at her from the couch, their faces an expression of fearful disbeief. Skylar stares and blinks in amazement, and Mikah looks hesitantly unsure whether to be afraid of burst out laughing. Kylan is staring with a completely disconcerted look on his face, and Brynn has all the expression of a stunned sheep. Ranger looks up from his magazine and blinks, and then drops his brow to his hand.]
Ranger: Oh dear...
Kylan: Dear God, what the hell are you WEARING!?
Sully: (rolls eyes, but is unable to look away) Good Grief.
Kael: (stifles a nervous giggle)
i_nv_u50: (straightening her tacky hawaiian T-shirt and hitching up her baggy khaki shorts. She kicks her sandals off and drops her sombrero on her bags, pushing her sunglasses up gleefully.) DUDES!!! We're going to PORTLAND!!!
