Clusterfuck is the official word of the day. Go forth and speak it's name.
In other news, I forgot to bring towels and my toothpaste when I moved back into college. Fail.

| Au revoir, sweet girl. |
[August 31, 2008 @ 10:28pm] |
My sweet beautiful little girlie fish succumbed to dropsy tonight. I miss her terribly already and I can't believe she's gone. She was amazingly social and all my friends liked her because she was so interactive and I'm just... well, really sad. And I just really hope that Malheureux doesn't get what Micra did.
I just am looking at my picture of my little girl and I just can't believe she's gone. I know I said that already but... I really loved that tiny little fish.

Au revoir, ma belle petite poisson. Je te rencontre au pont du arc-en-ciel. Tu peux passer tes temps avec Tiggy, Dingy et Erika. ♥

JSM!
Maya: I stayed at Elliot's last night and I had to go home and change. Nina: Might I suggest going home at lunch and giving it another try? Maya: You gave me this! Nina: I was extremely mad at you this Christmas.
Nina: Did I mention I bought a dolphin? It's in a tank in New Jersey.
Did I mention that Wendie Malick (Nina) is one of my heroes?
Maya: Before I understood what my dad did I used to imagine he was a blacksmith, hammering metal, fitting shoes for horses. Nina: But instead he's a millionaire. Boohoo for you, back to me.
Nina: Oil as in vroom vroom make the cars go?
Nina's Longlost Dad: You must have a lot of questions. Like why we gave you up and why it took us so long to track you down. Nina: Can I have a pony?

So I just dealt with one of my loans and I was ready to have a heart attack because I was upset about... everything. About money and stuff. It all just really sucks.
But I got on the phone with the loan company because I was having issue and the woman was so nice and it was so comforting to listen to a woman with a hint of a southern twang telling me all my loan things would be alright. Lol.
I'm on the ASPCA mailing list and I just got this thing about almost 1,000 puppy mill victims rescued and I want to watch the video but I just can't because even thinking about puppy mills makes me cry. I feel like I want to write to my senators about making animal rights/environmental issues a bigger priority. It's just that the environment and animals are huge parts of our ability to survive on this planet and we take advantage of them so much, like they owe it to us when really we completely owe them.
I really can't watch this video.

I have a new default icon. It's the one I'm using here.
I'm at work right now and I'm really proud of myself that I haven't cried yet, because I'm totally going miss these dogs like my own :( I brought my camera and I'll probably be posting "last day commemorative" pictures.
Also, I'm totally not going to buy anything online (unless it's for school) until I get a new job. I want to get a job at Barnes and Noble, but maybe I could do something on campus or in our little downtown that I don't have to take a bus to. I think I'll just pass out my resumé to a bunch of places and see what I can get.

Gillian Anderson's clothing might have been completely unforgivable in season 1 but I just saw one of the most beautiful frames I think I've ever seen of her.
http://xfphotos.fredfarm.com/season1/squeeze/batch2/a064A.jpg this is a cap of it, but the cap isn't as good as it was on my screen, the resolutions are much different.
I freaking love Squeeze though, can I get a woot woot for Squeeze and Tooms? Before I had my DVDs I had two VHSs one with Squeeze / Tooms and another with Pusher / Jose Chung's From Outer Space. I know those episodes by heart!
Scully: It seems like you were getting territorial. Mulder: *picks up something around her neck* (long necklace? id badge? can't see it clearly) Of course I am. In our work you may not always agree with me but at least you respect the journey.
It is so clear from episode 3 that they have an overwhelming amount of respect for each other, which turns into admiration, which turns into affection and finally love. And it's just so well written and well acted.
I'm just having a moment. XD

According to Variety, Meryl Streep is in advanced negotiations to play the female lead in the untitled romantic comedy that Nancy Meyers will direct for Universal. Meyers is producing with Scott Rudin. Production begins in February. Streep will play the female in a romantic triangle with two men. The director, who made "Something's Gotta Give" and "The Holiday" for Columbia Pictures, made the deal to bring her next picture to Universal earlier this year. Streep is currently voicing a lead role in "The Fantastic Mr. Fox," the stop-motion animation adaptation of the Roald Dahl novel at 20th Century Fox. Thanks to everyone who informed me of this! Also, in terms of film news, "Julie & Julia" has a release date, according to the Internet Movie Database, it'll release US theaters on April 17, 2009. source: Simply Streep

Well blah blah blah. I had my job right? Doggy Day Care on Mondays, Grooming on Wednesdays and Fridays. I love daycare, fucking hate grooming.
They replaced me on Wednesdays and Fridays with someone more permanent. ...that lasted all of a week. So un-fucking-fortunately I have to go back to grooming again.
I. Am. Not. Happy.
I hope they find someone else again soon. I hate grooming so much, I hate the cleaning so much. And I really don't like the other woman who works in daycare on Tuesday-Friday because she keeps making homophobic remarks specifically about girlslash and that clearly does not make for a comfortable Coco.

Okay... so anyone who doesn't believe that the universe sends you signs let me tell you what happened to me today/recently. So Erin got back from Italy and I went to see her Wednesday, and I'm going back on Tuesday and I still haven't told my mother that I'm with her, right?
Well, the other day she and I had some really good conversations the last couple of days and I came really close to telling her but I didn't exactly think the time was quite right.
So, we're driving today and there was a lone sign that said "out now" with no context. I was like, "all right universe!"
