02:52 am - Post-teeth-pulling It's been pretty uneventful. Most of you already know my condition after getting surgery on Wednesday to have my wisdom teeth extracted (most of my pals here I know in person). But some don't, so here's everything. :D I only had 2 wisdom teeth; lower left and upper right. I had them pulled Wednesday around 9:30ish and was back home pretty quickly. As usual, the doctor couldn't find a vein to put the i.v. in. I have a wonderful resulting bruise in the crook of my right arm as result; there's only a little prick in my lower left arm where they eventually got an i.v. in. I was starving, but threw up after eating Wednesday. I felt a lot better. Heh. After that it's been pretty ho-hum. I stayed with my parents until Friday and drove back to Kville late afternoon. I've already been back to work since Saturday even though even know I still have facial swelling and stitches in my mouth that still haven't dissolved. My upper right has been fine. I only have a slight tinge of something that is hardly pain remaining. And the stitch. I do have a bruise on my face on the lower right from the duration of my teeth being pulled, but it's almost gone already too. My left side is a different story. My lower left wisdom tooth had to be extracted as soon as possible b/c it was threatening to sever the nerves off in my jaw. So, after it got removed, even now my lower half of the left side of my face has a half-asleep tingling; half of my lower lip and chin are still completely devoid of feeling and numb; the skin and flesh at least. I can feel the pressure of my hand on the area if I push. Hopefully this will clear up soon; the swelling isn't gone yet all the way. This lower left tooth was impacted, pushing in on my other teeth on my lower left, so all my lower left teeth are now moving and expanding into the new space. It's a dull pain-but-not-pain sensation; no all that different from when I had braces. So, that's nothing new for me. Well, I don't actually work again until Thursday, so I plan to clean, draw, watch anime, read manga, organize and plan for the next few days. Next week is Freshman week for Truman, and I need to get an advertising poster for our anime club designed and poste before the week starts. Yay. :D btw, I'm just pissed right now b/c I had to completely rewrite this entry after it didn't post at deviantART, where I was initially writing it.
