Now, take a look at these pictures. Here are the CEO's of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, AIG and the Lehman Brothers. I know the first thing that jumps out about these faces is they all happen to be white, and they all happen to be responsible for stealing. But, what you have to understand is that these whites are a product of a society that made them that way. It was the neighborhoods and the schools they went to: Harvard, Yale, the Wharton School of Business. They never learned the value of doing real, actual work. And the first step to fixing that is better role models so kids growing up white today don't think the only way out of Westchester is corporate crime. Or a government handout. Or sailing. So, I get it.
The temptation is to look at McCain and vote against him because you don't see an individual; you just see another typical welfare "whitey." And it's true. He spent his entire life shuffling from one low-paying government job to another. Well, except those years he spent in prison. Typical. And, between you and me, he's not very articulate. Oh, he may have some street smarts, but he's not what you'd call an "educated" man. He freely admits he's ignorant about the economy. And apparently the only thing his white running mate knows how to do is crank out one baby after ano ther. And now, of course, her teenage is pregnant out of wedlock, because she learns it at home!
But, that doesn't mean we should assume all white people are like that just because so many of them are. I believe there is hope. I believe even the stupidest, greediest, laziest whites can break the cycle of dependence, like this November when we finally move George Bush out of public housing.

You know I wouldn't have an issue with the white women jumping on the McCain train now that Palin is the VP if the woman he picked as his running mate had some goddamned character. Where the hell is Olympia Snowe or Susan Collins or Kay Bailey Hutchison? Oh, right, those women wouldn't woo the Social Conservatives. BATMAN: NEMESIS FIGHT
The Joker was Batman's evli nemisis and tehy foughts too many times so now Batman was tired.
"Morning Alfred" he said as he took off his bat suit.
"I made yuo teh eggs." And Bruce Wayne ate the eggs. But too bad becaus Joker knew what Batmans scret idenity was Bruce Wayne and came to combat him.
"No! You can not hurt the master Wayne" said Alferd and he was killed by the Joker's men.
"Good shoot!" shouted Joker at the gun man.
Batman wsa very angary for the kill of hsi frend so he shouted "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" and shoot a big fireball like on Dragonball Z.
Joker was exploded over all the place and turned into a ghost. So Batman needed to fight with gohst powars to fight Joker's ghost.
Hsi magic baterang flew and cut Joker head off.

Indeed, among other things the proposal expresses concern about state laws that require hospitals to provide emergency contraception to rape victims who request it.

So, out of desperation, I finally did the neti pot. Now I really feel like shit. I must have accidentally inhaled something cuz my throat is killing me. Meanwhile the sinus cavities over my eyes are screaming and everything smells and tastes worse than before. Surely that was not the intended effect. Since there is so much really good info out there about this stuff working, and since the NP said that I might have to do it twice a day before I feel any better, I'll do it again tomorrow. It wasn't as horrid as I worried it would be, but damn, I had really hoped to feel better afterward and I so very much do not.
And, my fever is back with a vengeance. Yay me. Must take Tylenol or something, take a shower, and then pass out. When I'm awake I can finally do my used book goodness post, and can inform y'all of my freaky weekend.
In the meantime, blech. Just freaking blech.

So here it is, 7:30 pm, my sinus cavities feel crushed, my teeth hurt, everything smells and tastes funny, I got a fever, I'm tired, and I got no drugs. NO DRUGS!
What kinda country doesn't give its citizens drugs? I want to move to Amsterdam immediately. I'd still have sinus pain, but I'd be too high to care.
Hrm... I wonder if my fever might not be a bit high at the moment. This would explain the goofiness. I have no explanation for my many other days of goofiness.
They made me get a neti pot to do a nasal irrigation thing, but I really don't want to. Isn't enough that I feel like shit and have NO DRUGS?
I just checked and YES I has a fever. Everyone pity me RIGHT NOW or I will use capitals AGAIN if I HAVE to!
