SO LAST NIGHT I HAD A DREAM.

It went like this: Giant cfud meetup in a pool, I'd originally got there early and went swimming ... naked... and then lost track of where my clothes were. Fortunately, I had a towel for helping me search for them again. And in the meantime, I also wanted to find out where, you know, this meetup was supposed to be, since that'd be cool.

"Oh!" thought I. "I'll just phone katmaxwell!" But alas, I had neither her number... or my phone. Zazzle had my phone because hers was lost (TRUE STORY, ACTUALLY).

So I resolved to search manually! It must, thought I, be hard to lose a huge CFUD meetup. So I went looking. In the meantime I found my clothes and went back to search.

...and discovered the giant Discedo meetup happening in the same place. I would never have known, of course, except that I met guardian_yugi at a con a few years ago and she, I have discovered due to wanky secret comms, is in Discedo. So it went a little like "Huh. That's a familiar Youji. That's a familiar girl WITH the Youji uh G-guardian Yugi?!" and then she latched onto me and dragged me places and touched me inappropriately and eventually let me go.

And then I found the CFUD meetup and there was cake. And trivia. And giant group hugs. :(

Now that I have all my fics posted in LJ tagged by series, I feel like doing the DVD commentary meme again. How does it work?



WHAT YOU DO: Pick a fic of mine that you'd like to hear my thoughts on throughout the text.

WHAT I DO: Take that fic and put up a post with my comments in bold throughout, describing anything from my intention, to references tossed in from other things, to snarking on mistakes I notice or disappointments I'd had with it.



All my fics can be found here or, if you want the really old stuff, here. But uh, I'm horribly embarrassed with the old stuff, I only haven't removed it because I know of many authors I read whose old stuff I wish they hadn't taken down even if they're embarrassed. Also, if you want actual comments on intention and what I was thinking while writing it, I won't be able to manage that with the real old stuff. BUT IT'S UP TO YOU. o/

SO UH for years, I've failed at having an organized system for people to find my fics which are, fact, only posted on LJ. I haven't memoried them. I haven't tagged them. Basically I've failed hard!

BUT NOW. After ten hours of work on it today, All my fics have been tagged by series (and, occasionally if in an on-going AU, by the AU title).

Hopefully this is useful to people, and sorry it's taken so long. ;; I'll do my best to keep up with it.

1. VICTORIA IS LOVELY THESE DAYS no wonder it's such a tourist town. Actually, I kind of envy the tourists. I want to do things like go to the gardens or... 2. So at work lately I've apparently been hunching my shoulders at the computer or SOMETHING because the back of my neck is really really muscle-knotty and tense. 4. SO HEY GUYS HEY GUYS HEY. You know, I was thinking, back in university I was able to browse around for fanfic a lot, but these days I just don't do it as much any more. In fact, I'd say that on the whole I pretty much only read fanfic when someone posts a link to me and goes HEY READ THIS NOW. And even then it may wait a day or two.

But you know what? It's my birthday in like 4 days, and so naturally I fully intend to relax and chillax over the next few days as much as possible.

So comment here and link a fic to me. But here's the catch. Don't go recommending anyone ELSE'S fanfics. Even if they're really good! So I haven't posted much recently. RIGHT NOW I'M POSTING BECAUSE I'M ENRAGED AND JUST WANT TO GET IT OUT LOL but you know. And no, not me, but a friend. Still.

Without getting wanky or up in the details: People who take their problems with someone to a fucking wanky secrets comm, instead of talking their problems out like sane, normal, reasonable, adult people? Are the worst.
