Hey! I'm going to Otakon this year, and one of my costumes is a femme!Apollo (since it was easy to put together, and I have the same coloring as him for eyes/hair). I have everything I need, but I'm struggling with on thing. The hair spikes. :/ I can't really make the costume work without 'em.

So here's my question, how can I spike my bangs to do that? The gel thing isn't working very well (my bangs are no the side and cut off at my chin). I could get them, although I'd rather that be a last resort since I may not have time to get a haircut before the con with my hectic work schedule lately (read as taking many hours for Otakon spending monies). Any ideas?

Also, if anyone knows of any male Klaviers that will be at the con, I'd wanna meet 'em~! >>;; I'm sure the PW/AJ fandom's gonna be pretty big this year. If anyone is cosplaying any PW/AJ characters, tell me what day you think you're gonna cosplay as that. I have 4 or so costumes, so I'll be switching and really hope to catch people in PW/AJ costumes while I'm in mine. (I'm also going as Viola Cadaverini, heehee).

I'm pretty sure I saw that already here, but I was searching whole two days and didn't found anything. I'm searching for translation of voiced parts of this promo, especially of Phoenix's quote arount 0:50, with something about repaying debt to Edgeworth i think (I'm not too good in japanese). I'd be gratefull if anyone can wrote this quote in romanji for me and also give proper translation. Thanks a lot!

Yesterday I beat Phoenix Wright: Ace Attourney, the first Ace Attourney game I've played...and I enjoyed it, for the most part. My main gripe is that these cases run on for way too long. I would've preferred more, shorter cases rather 5 long ones. Like, every time I felt like a case was going to end, turns out it wasn't even close to finish. I constantly wished a case would be over with already. Also, the game's pace is pretty slow, which irritated me even more. But besides that, the gameplay is solid. I played through Hotel Dusk before playing through Phoenix Wright and I definitely dig that more, mainly because of the amazing story that game has.


Oh, and I'd like to say that Case 5 was easily the best, because it actually used the DS's capabilities. Yeah, I know these games are GBA ports...the first three anyways.

Okay, so I don't know how many of you have read the new Artemis Fowl book, but I did. I suppose this is a bit silly, but near the beginning, there was this one line:


"In Paris," said Myles, smugly straightening the cravat that he had borrowed from his father.


For some reason, the fact that someone named Myles was wearing a cravat had me laughing uncontrollably. It was several minutes before I stopped giggling at that line.

My boyfriend was playing Pokémon while on the phone to me.

He squeaked with joy, and said to me, "My egg's hatching!" and turned up volume.

The egg hatch music plays. Just the exact second the Pokémon's cry plays, someone texts him, and his tone is Phoenix's objection.
   
Him: Tabby, guess what that is!
Me: ...A lawyer?
Him: Attorneys don't just hatch from eggs, you know.

I don’t know that I got across the emotions I was trying to convey here. I think that maybe they’re there, but they could be a lot clearer? I dunno. I was aiming for subtlety too, but maybe things could have been stronger?

Comments and constructive criticisms are welcomed, since this is the first time I’ve written in this fandom. Although I feel like I should be filling out kink meme requests, I got inspired to write this and I’ve learned not to ignore inspiration lest it leave me.

I also feel the need to warn that this is un-beta-ed, because none of my friends that I know of have played GS4, so all mistakes and errors are mine alone. Suggestions for a title are very welcomed too because I have no idea what to call this. It's short, I tried to make it sweet, here it is:
