Maybe not
Toby ate last night and kept it down! Shocking. I thought after Tuesday night's episode he was done for sure. Guess not.

Is anybody on my list or anybody you know interested in an Irish Wolfhound puppy?
I don't normally post calls for my F List to get involved with animal rescue. I literally see about 50 calls for help per day. It's just rediculous. But this is a breed that you don't normally see. And since a lot of my friends are interested in Irish and Scottish culture, I figured it didn't hurt to put the call out there. I mean, if you want a Wolfhound, this is probably about the cheapest way you're going to go about getting one.
I don't have pics yet, I'm requesting those. I don't know what gender yet, I've requested that. If anybody's interested, just let me know and I'll pass along the information. I would LOVE to have one of these dogs, but apt living isn't fair to them as well as I have no yard and WAY too many animals as it is and Maizy would probably not be very happy about it. So I can't. I CAN, however, foster on a Very temporary basis, as in a couple of weeks max. I also am willing to help with transport. This puppy is in Argyle, TX which is probably about 4 hours away.
If anybody is interested, AND Has the Facilities for this dog (please don't speak up if you aren't prepared to handle a dog of this size or behavioral traits), I'll do whatever it takes to help get the dog here.
Here's some information on the breed so you know what you're getting into:

My creepy neighbor across the hall is Moving! I saw him moving boxes to another until across the complex yesterday. I talked to another neighbor about it and he actually seems to think he's moving out altogether. Hmmm, maybe there's another explaination about the boxes. Anywhoo, I don't really care, I'm just glad I won't be sharing a wall with him anymore. And he was apparently bothering some people a lot more than he bothered me, so I'm not the only person to be happy about his move!
In any case, this also means that there's an empty unit next door. As much as I am glad to see him go, the level of tenant that has been renting out in my complex has been steadily declining. So I'm a little anxious to see if the next one is worse. Although, they Will kick trouble tenants out. Those folks who got kicked out a couple of months ago were violent to one another and apparently were damaging property. I also think the kicked my previous neighbor out due to a combination of not paying rent and the cops being called to his place several times. I think the upstairs neighbor complained about him a lot until they had finally had it with him.
So if anybody in this area wants a Cheap, cute apt, let me know and I'll get you the phone #. I'm sure it won't last long. These units tend to rent pretty quickly. I don't think I've seen one single unit stay empty past a couple of weeks since I moved in.
In other good news, Mongol is showing here in Dallas and I'm Finally going to get to see it! The plan is for Saturday. I'm also going to splurge and try to see The Fall this weekend as well. I really can't afford to go see two movies in one weekend, but my time is running short on The Fall. It may not still be here next weekend. And next weekend is July 4th weekend which is a Very busy weekend for me, so that's a no go anyways even if it IS playing. So it looks like this is a Movie weekend for me! Woohoo!
ok, work time. I need to really put my head down and get some work done, so I'll only partially be available today.
Ash just sent me a link to an FDA press release that states the Petco distribuion center which covers our state has had its food seized due to unsanitary conditions.

If you buy from Petco, please watch your animals for any illnesses.
So I bought another remote for the bigger TV to try to use it. Apparently, the speakers wasn't the only thing the storm blew because none of the code on the remote worked. The remote is essential because there isn't a button on the front of the TV to get you to the Aux channels to watch DVDs. The speakers DID work on the TV for a while and then they stopped. I think I can get this TV fixed. I'll have to look into replacing the Remote receiver to see if it's worth it. But it won't be fixed by the party that's for sure. Bummer.
I'm only $68,000 from catching up to my nearest competitor in my HSX league!!!!! I've Finally gained enough funds to start putting hard money into some blockbusters, so this summer I should have a pretty big boost once they release. Now I just have to hope that he's sleeping and I can pass him. I passed him once last year, but it didn't last long. This time I'm determined to pass him and STAY in 3rd place. Then I can start gunning for 2nd. I'm not going to make it to 3rd because our League leader has been playing for many years therefore he's Waaaay ahead of the rest of us who started about a year ago.
for such a little bit of rain.
We were only supposed to have a 20% of rain today. We were supposed to get totally missed by the BIG Oklahoma storm.
Hahahahaha! Granted, we DID only get a minute amount of rain compared to what Oklahoma's getting, but that's just at 635. North of us looked like they were getting Hammered! And the wind was blowing so fiercely the windows in the building were rattling and we lost power. That was some Harsh Stuff!
I guess the meteorologists miscalculated.
I just looked over at the cat closet where I feed the kitties minus Toby and nearly died laughing.
Toby was eating out of Dunbar's food bowl and Dunbar is on the top of Maizy's food container box giving me the most pitiful, hateful, "I'm in hell" look imagineable.
Ahh, life with cats is Never dull!
