This sounds beyond amazing: Happytime Murders, a film noir muppet and real people detective movie. I'm ridiculously in love with this idea for some reason, with the caveat that they keep stupid cameos to a minimum.
I forgot to mention this last night, but my favourite part of Body of Lies was when a variety of terrorist email addresses were flashing across this one guy's computer screen and there was a user by the name of "jihadboy2". LKJASDL:KJASKLJ WHAT. I'd complain that this is phenomenally lame, but if you look at the email addresses of the average fifteen year-old they're exactly like this (although usually without jihadist sentiments) so it was both accurate and awesome.

Entertainment Weekly has 15 Nominees for Worst Movie Dialogue Ever, which includes one of my favourites: "Hold me, like you did by the lake on Naboo."
What are your favourite lines of terrible dialogue from movies?

A little bit of designspiration for you: 50 beautiful movie posters and awesome typewriter ribbon tin collection.
I have an incredibly intense love for Saul Bass, btw. I just found a really great site that lists all his title sequenecs and then goes through a brief cycle of screen shots from those sequences so you can get the gist of what they're like. I used to have a really awesome Bass-esque font on my computer that I used on my Atomic Age layout, but I've since lost it in subsequent hard drive failures and can't find it on the net anymore. Woe.
ETA Also, a great article on type design on Mad Men. I love stuff like this.

I was feeling morose and cranky so I took myself to see Body of Lies tonight, thinking Leo might be the cure that which ails me. ( cut for spoilers )
Ew, I'm refreshing the CBC website repeatedly for election updates and the Conservatives are winning. Someone please deliver me from evil. People of British Columbia, I beg you!
