Sittin' in the Uptown, thinking about Getting Things Done
Well, I seem to have found a geek bandwagon to jump onto: David Allen's "Getting Things Done" (thanks to Eric).
So, it's a Friday night in Bloomington, I'm having cavatapi with gorgonzola and broccoli, some bread and butter, and scouring the web for hints as to how people are using software to put the GTD ideas into practice. OneNote, Outlook, Ecco... I'm trying to see if someone who works like I do has found, made, or hacked together a good system. So far my favorite is something I've been doing for years -- using the backs of the thousands of obsolesced business cards from my office mates. They're a nice size, they hold one good idea each, and I'm getting a great second use out of them, but, they're unbacked up and loseable.
So, what's your "trusted system" if you're a GTD cult member?
