11:46 pm - Oh yeah
|
I told my doc today about the 2 other heart attacks. She said given the amount of blockage and muscle damage, a 4th heart attack... well, lets just say thing most likely would have been not good by any standards.

1:14 am - Not my first heart attack!!!
|
Looking back, i found two enteries from June 3rd where I talked about massive heart burn. One early in the morning and later that evening, right in the middle of the Movie Bears outing to see Sex and the City. So last last Wednesday was actually my THIRD heart attack! The exact same symptoms of sweating buckets, major nausea, really really dizzy and the feeling of being punched in the chest that happened Wednesday, also happen in the middle of the movie... I even posted about it. Hell, I even used the words "heart attack". And looking back at my schedule, I was dead tired the following day (waking up late for a foot doc appt because I was so tired) and just like last Wednesday when I slept most of the day. So while I don't want to read about any of you having a heart attack, please don't mistake massive heart burn for anything less than a heart attack! Cold sweats, dizzy, nausea, and the feeling of being punched over and over in the middle of your chesst, till you're winded. That thing about your left arm going numb is not the last indicter, my pain stopped at my shoulders and never went down to my arm on Wednesday. Get your hopefully not as stubborn as me ass to the ER ASAP. Ya hear me! Because like a fool, I saw my doc after the first two attacks and never mentioned it.
11:46 pm - Sex and the City Ala moviebears tonight. Good, i think. About 1/3 of the way through it, another massive heartburn attack. I had a Pepcid in my pocket and took that. Shortly followed by the two Percocets I had in my pocket. So by half way through the movie I was in deep pain, but also high off my ass. I kinda zoned and missed much of the movie.
Still in tons of pain, thought I was going to die getting up the stairs once we got home. Debated going to the ER. If anyone feels like going to go see the movie next week, I might be interested in going, just to see what I missed. (2 comments | comment on this)
1:49 am - CRAZY Thankfully I rarely get heartburn. So of course when I actually fall a sleep early... I was just woken up by the most horrible pain. For a few minutes there, I was seriously freaking out! Sweating, pain in my armS, pain dead center of my chest. If it hadn't been that I was hurting in both arms, I would have woken Shannon thinking I was having a heart attack. Yup, drama queen moment, but damn that shit hurt (still does kinda). Thankfully I found some Pepcid in Shan's restroom... its helped fairly quickly to reduce the pain. But WOW, heartburn sucks! My sympathies to anyone who gets it often! A little joke Shan forwarded to me. We know she wasn't talking about me... cause I have a smooth chest, not because of the punch line... I think???
After retiring, I went to the Social Security office to apply for Social Security. The woman behind the counter asked me for my driver's license to verify my age. I looked in my pockets and realized I had left my wallet at home. I told the woman that I was very sorry, but I would have to go home and come back later.
The woman said, 'Unbutton your shirt'. So I opened my shirt revealing my curly silver hair. She said, 'That silver hair on your chest is proof enough for me' and she processed my Social Security application.
When I got home, I excitedly told my wife about my experience at the Social Security office. She said, 'You should have dropped your pants. You might have gotten disability, too'
And then the fight started

7:00 am - I'm outta here
|
they tell me I'm going home this morning. But we all know that in "hospital speak" that means I'm going home on the next 24 hours. yesterday was lots of fun. More tests, including some fun radioactive stuff but I also ended up with a shunt bringing placed to open up a blocked artery. since the go in at the groin and work their way up, I'm seriously sore!!!
I'm way over it! I would have to say Everything about this year has sucked beyond belief. And the one and only thing I've looked forward to, Lazybear, it doesn't look like I can go. Not that none of the docs said I couldn't, but I don't think y'all would feel comfortable if I did.
Sigh.

8:00 pm - hey kids

First off, thank you to everyone for the loving support, messages, emails and text messages!!!
My mom should be here shortly. Sigh... We stress each other out. This should be interesting.
I have damage to the left ventrical. Tomorrow afternoon they will do a cardiac catheter, up from the groin to the heart. See what sort if blockage there is. They were going to make me wait till Monday. I threw a huge fit. Huge. Then figure out how to deal with it. Scrape, shunt, or by-pass surgery. I want the scraping, cause then I can go home Much sooner.
Shan of course has been wonderful. But hard on her too.
Ugh, throat clearer from last night is awake again after his surgery. Grrtr
I'm bored, but Kev and Stephen came for a visit. Love you guys. I so doubt I can go to Lazybear. I'm very upset by this. The ONE thing I've had to look forward to Since brain surgery and it's shot to hell!!!
Wish me luck on getting the fuck out if here very soon!!!
Got my phone for email and text. But with my mom around, too much going on for visitors.
Yay me, brain tumor and heart attack in 6 months at the old age of 39!!!

you cannot leave the diabetic go 11+ hours with no food or water. For a test that may not happen today.

EKG is ok. Waiting on labs before they make me stay or let me go. Horrible time getting two IVs in, had a good cry. IVs really hurt. Very not happy with this. Cause you know wasn't the other shit enough? Besides I have an outfit to bedazzle at home!!!

8:14 am - Right through the heart!
|
Fuck me! Last night was just the HORRIBLE!!! Because either I had a heart attack, or the worst heart burn EVER. At first I though my blood sugar levels were crashing. I was kinda nauseous, pouring sweat, and feeling achy and light headed. Pretty classic diabetic signs that my levels were about to take a huge dump. But I kept testing my blood and the numbers were perfectly fine.
And then it hit, massive chest pain! I was doubled over with a ever increasing pain dead center of my chest. It was far worse than the other 2 times I've had this has happened in the past 6 weeks. It was 3am and I was so close to waking Shannon up and having her take me to the ER at Davies.
But I remember I had bought Pepcid and Alka Seltzer not too long ago and manage to get to the kitchen and down a hit of each. I also followed by popping a percocet for the chest pain. I managed about 4 hours of sleep. My chest is still pretty sore, but nothing like last night.
I guess I'll mention it to my doctor tomorrow when I see her. I seriously feel like I was hit by a bus!

Hearing aid... behind they sofa! Don't ask how it got there, because I really have no idea. I can only guess either one of the cats picked it up and moved it under there or... well, I just don't know.

11:35 am - Xbox 360 and Netflix
|
I read that you'll be able stream Netflix movies over your Xbox. But I can't seem to find anything that says when the service will begin. The Xbox site wasn't very clear about it and the Netflix site has no info at all.
I know there is a separate table top box being sold, but since I have an Xbox and would only need the wireless adapter, it would be a cheaper alternative and one less thing cluttering up the area where we have all of the a/v junk.
Anyone know anything about it?
