OH NOES I AM BREAKING THE STRIKE I AM A BAD LJER WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME I CRY

Michael (aka rubarabadom) and I spent a very nice Valentine's Day together. And not only Valentine's Day, it was our 3rd anniversary too. We had lunch at Lafayette Brew Co., which is where we had our first date and where we've gone on every Valentine's Day since then. Michael had gotten me a very cute cup covered with multi-colored hearts a couple of weeks ago, which was my present, and I got him a card and made him a mix cd. When we got home we split a Russell Stover heart w/assorted chocolates.

And he bought me a Obama For President pin at VP which is very cute. They had Fred Thompson pins too, which I thought was very funny, they didn't even have the display up when he was still in the race.

I managed to hurt myself on a (lever) doorknob the other day by accidentally ramming the back of my arm, about midway between my shoulder and elbow, into the very end of it. I actually managed to give myself a bruise. ^.^;;

On Saturday went over to the west side to see Juno. It was awesome. Very funny, everyone was really good in it and the music was great, I liked it just as much as Knocked Up and would definitely buy it. Then we stopped by Dick's Bodacious Barbecue for lunch and ended up stuffed silly. Michael bought me my Christmas presents at Game Stop while we were there, Labrador Retriever and Friends and Dragon Quest Adventures: Rocket Slime, both games for the DS. (I have a Welsh Corgi named Ein on the first one). Our last stop was Borders where we picked up 5 for 4 manga: Presents #1, Portus, Nightmares For Sale #1, The Yagyu Ninja Scrolls #1 and xxxHolic #9.

On Wednesday we went to a dentist's appointment for Michael and on the way back we stopped at Tuesday Morning, a great store with extremely low prices, usually at least 50% off other stores. We had lunch at MCL Restaurant before going home, which was pretty good, but FULL of old people. Now I know what it feels like to be in a nursing home.

Chili cheese dogs are, indeed, the best food known to man and I shall enjoy scarfing a couple down tonight. :)

Did anyone else watch Garth Marenghi's Darkplace on Adult Swim last night? I don't know if that was the first time they've shown it or not, but I loved it. Great spoof, reminded me a lot of Tales From The Darkside, especially the music.

I realized I hadn't been using the full potential of the local public library after I looked up a couple of movies on their website. JC, they have practically every movie I could want, except for the rare or foreign ones. We're going to go from 3 at a time to 1 from Netflix so this is awesome. They also have a lot more music CDs than I had thought, and some computer games that have come out in recent years and I've actually heard of.

Also, Pucca rocks. :D
