When people guess my age
When people have guessed my age in the last 6 months, they've guessed 18, 20, 22.
The grad student peers who think I'm 22 said I should be happy to look so young. My concern was more that I acted and thought like a kid.
Maybe people will think I'm a child genius instead of a naive gen-Xer.

Just watched What Scientologists Say About Scientology which made me look like this:
Give me your hipsters, your black people, your hungry artists and models looking for a bite to eat... I have nothing intelligent to say. It was a cute and empty attempt to make scientologists look like an oppressed category reclaiming their identities. Poor kids.

My mom does this, and today I do too because I don't own a mop but the kitchen is too gross for a regular swiffer. 1 instead of disposing swiffer sheets, I can rewash and use the towel 2 the towel is heavier duty 3 the towel is long run cheaper. snd this is better than a mop, I think, because towels are more generally usable and less tangly than mop heads.

Quiz me! Civic knowledge

zunger, clocking in at 91%. I got 78% on this American Civic Literacy quiz.
My weaknesses are generally macroeconomics and military history. I've always loved social-cultural history and fallen asleep at battle accounts. My gripe about the quiz is that it only included economic stuff about capitalism. Nothing about unions, workers rights, child labor, etc.

one way to love flossing
Floss with dental tape for a week, which is sort of like flossing with a flexible toothpick that pries your teeth apart painfully, but the box looks the same as regular floss so it is easy to buy unwittingly. Then give up and switch back to normal floss. It'll feel like summer breezes through your teeth in comparison.
