06:52 am - Holy Shit The other day, after I got off work, Jimmy said "I was contacted by the CIA today." The first thing that went through my head was "shit, what'd he do now?...please don't let it be for music and movie downloading, that's a bunch of bullshit." After spending milliseconds freaking out in my head, he finally said "they want me to submit my resume, they offered me a job."
What?! The CIA came to YOU with a job!? That's fucking awesome. So uh...next summer (when it'd start) I guess we'll be moving up to Washington, DC...Virginia area, most likely.
I guess it pays to know your shit and get your name on stuff like he has. Yay for him, I couldn't be more proud. And hey, I want to eventually end up at the CIA or NSA with my language stuff anyway, soooo maybe he's my foot in the door. I read about this volunteer type thing that spouses of CIA employees get to do. It's a sort of thing where they help new hires get accustomed to the place and other such random tasks...helps to know people, either way. Current Mood: shocked

01:26 pm Anyone looking to buy a keyboard/stand/cover/whole kit thingy, a bunch of short skirts, and other random clothing that's mostly black and probably considered "goth"? I have a bunch of ebay sales up right now because we need room in our apartment...not so much need room, but I never wear half this shit, and I have no time to play the keyboard... Hurts me to sell that especially, but there's just no place to put it. If anyone's interested, lemme know and I can give you links to my auctions. I think they end in the next two days, but I just thought to put a post up here. BTW, the clothes are all somewhere around 3-7 in size. Talk about a fluctuating waist size, why does it never look different? Tell your friends :-P I need money and space. Current Music: "Man of Constant Sorrow"~Soggy Bottom Boys

08:31 pm - Random update On the 26th I fly back down to Tennessee after a three week visit "home." Jim and I have an apartment in Oak Ridge where we'll be living for the next year. Things are looking good, I can't wait to move into this place, get a job, and start organizing shit that he didn't know what to do with when he moved it in while I've been up here. I shall post pictures of the place when I get there and have it set up.
The weekend I get back down there (this weekend) he's taking me to Myrtle Beach, SC for a sort of vacation before I start working and he goes back to work on Monday. Should be good times. I've never been there.
This should end the useless update, but I felt the need to do it. Hope everyone's well. Current Mood: excited Current Music: "Suspicious Minds"- Elvis

08:30 pm I'm going insane here..someone heeeeelp....
I'm trying to figure out the name of this old program.
Remember Oregon Trail for the old Apple computers with the black and green screen? I have been thinking about this other program I used to use back in third grade for my reading class. It had a guy in a toga or karate uniform guiding you through it. You read things then answered questions about it...NOBODY knows what I'm talking about and I'm going nuts trying to think of it and look it up on Google.
Please tell me someone out there besides the one other person who jogged my memory has a clue what I'm talking about. Neither of us can remember the name.
Heh, also...remember number munchers? Yeah...I'm feeling old. Current Mood: frustrated Current Music: Suikoden, what else?

08:48 pm Back from Florida! I had a wonderful time...so much to tell and so little time because I have a big Medieval Civ test tomorrow that I haven't started studying for. For now though...I say this...after ten hours straight driving down there...he was a wee bit tired:

10:04 am - Yay Spring break starts..well..in my mind, as soon as my Japanese test ends today. Jimmy and I will be off to Clinton to stay with his parents for a night before we head down to Destin,Florida. There...we spend four days fishing off the pier, swimming, and drinking...life's good. :-D We'll spend two..or three? I can't count...more nights at his parents when we get back. Much cheaper than having the hotel down there for the whole week. We're going back in May when we can get his normal condo on the beach for a couple weeks...ahh..it'll be muy lovely-o...er..something. I'm bringing my camera to take many many pictures, of course.
I've never done a thing for spring break besides sit on my ass at my parents house or at the dorms up at UWS. This'll be interesting to actually go somewhere, and with someone I want to be with while there...that'll most likely make it a hundred times better.
This update is useless really besides giving me time to not study before my test...now that that's done...I go back to studying.

Candidate C -

Which of these candidates would be your Choice?
The Answers: Candidate A: is Franklin D. Roosevelt. Candidate B: is Winston Churchill. Candidate C: is Adolph Hitler.
And, by the way, the answer to the abortion question: If you said yes, you just killed Beethoven.
