Last night was so awesome. I took pictures for possible portfolio choices. I got my friends to put finger paint on their face and lay in the grass haha. I have great friends who obvisouly love me... or at least love playing with finger paint. Anyways I got some great shots :) My art teacher is getting us to start thinking about our concentration. A concentration is a theme of your artwork on half of your portfolio. My first thought was DeathCab lyrics but them she told me it had to be visually linked. Damn you people who do not know DeathCab lyrics! Hah so now i'm thinking music in general. I'm dying to do  a drawing or something of the dead music notes on the powerlines from the Soul Meets Body video. It's still going to be as DeathCab centered as possible because without Ben's lyrics ands Chris' melodys I wouldn't be inspired and thats that. The whole reason I do art is because I want to put Ben's lyrics into visual form, to express that feeling when I hear an amazing song onto paper. Something that cannot be explained otherwise. That sounded really fan-girl-ish but that is the complete truth. And my art dosent include gay-naked-anime doodles of Chris and Ben... so i'm not a stupid little fan girl hah. BUT ANYWAYS!
I got a promotion at work! I work concessions now which, is 200x harder and stressful. But hey! I get paid more so yeah... whatever. Rebel XTi here I come :D:D
I'm currently failing physics though. I made a 1/100 on a quiz. I thought it was funny.. my mother didnt >.< I have a stupid teacher so my mom is complaing to the princple Monday morning. It's kind of embarrasing but it will help me get help I guess. I refuse to fail high school because of Physics.

and then i died a little on the inside...  
Yesterday I died a little on the inside.
 Midnight Sun has been leaked and she is saying she wont finish it. The 12 chapters are on her website. Whom ever leaked it should diee!
I've been entertained by the RNC however. Those people are absolutley hullarious! How idioic can someone be? Idioic to make Sara Palin your VP? SURE. AH, republicans. What will we ever do with you?  In other news, Jenny Lewis has a new CD comming out. It makes me excited. Acid Tounge comes out September 23rd. YAY.
I've been all moody latley and I'm not very sure why. Well, I think I know exactly why but I can't talk to any of my friends about it because I don't like talking about feelings. That whole share your feelings and opinions thing has never really worked for me.
Now i'm looking at dates and deadlines for college.
I really hate scholarships. They are so gay and generic and stupid.
BLAH.
Scholarships fail at life. Everyone should be able to go to college for free. Or at least have the chance to.

labordayweekend.  
Where do I begin about this labor day weekend! Lets start with my outrage about John McCain and his running mate. WTF?! So, when Obama is in the senate for 10 years, its not enough experience to run the country. When it comes to his running mate, 3 years? NO PROBLEM! WTF!? That is complete bullshit and he knows it. I'm praying for someone to call him out on it.  On the other hand, this weekend has been the most fun I have had ever. Saturday night, we had a giant sleepover at my friend Liz's house because her parents were out of town. My friends Liz, Courtney, Joey, Michael, Casey and Melissia spent the night. It was great. We went to Kroger at 1 am to buy stuff for smores and then decided to go to the grave yard. We went back to Liz's house after being attacked by bats and filled up a kiddy pool in her yard and went swimming. We decided to go inside because she lives in a shady neighborhood so we played Hide and Seek for like 2 hours. We finally decided to try to go to sleep but ended up talking till about 6am. Then I slept till about 10:30 on a twin mattress with Liz, Courtney and Michael. BEST NIGHT EVER. Now I'm finishing my film class music video :)

the DNC  

I've been reading Chris Walla's blog and of course watching it myself and I though I would share my thoughts on the whole thing. It is quite an amazing spectacle. All of the media coverage is absolutely insane if you ask me. I honestly do not need to see it on every news channel and every idiot who thinks they know something about anything commenting on every move someone makes (or doesn’t make). I have watched the major events aka Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, Michelle Obama, Joe Biden. I do have to say last night touched me the most. Hillary was quite touching when she came to the floor to block votes for herself but I think Joe Biden's son touched me the most. It wasn't the political kind of touch but more emotional. When he was telling the story of his childhood and what his father did, I couldn't help but tear up. Joe Biden's speech was very good as well and I have faith in him being the next Vice President. It was truly great when Obama stepped out on stage with Biden. It kind of gave me the since of hope, like this country has a great future ahead of it and it make me happy it be a part of it. Politics is something I am very passionate about and have been for many years now and I finally have some since of hope. Do you understand what that finally feels? I am quite honestly tearing up right now. I love my country and I am so proud and grateful I am an American. Tonight is going to change the world, like very other night this week. I can not believe this is actually happening, hope is finally comming in the form of Barack Obama. Thank you so much! So, even if your not a democrat, watching this tonight. Watch it and be proud your country is moving foward. We are making the progress we should have been makeing many many year ago. Stand up and be proud. Let your voice be heard. Register to vote and make a diffrence in the world for now and in the future. Watch CSPAN/CNN whatever tonight. :):)

DNC.... chris walla style :)  
Chris has an on-going blog with Rolling Stone about the DNC.. which he and Ben are currently at. He is suppost to update it daily :) Also, he and Ben will also give a preformance tommorow at 3pm. I wonder if they will play it on CSPAN? hah Me tommorow at 3 watching CSPAN "OMGGG! WHERE ARE THEY?!?!" Hahaha. Anyways read his blog :)
